    I need to get the current absolute url of my site from inside an aspx page (no codebehind). I tried $SPUrl, but it get's converted into a relative url. <asp:Literal runat="server" text="<% $SPUrl:~Site/mypage.aspx %>" /> results in "/mypage.aspx". It's important that I get the full absolute url starting with "http://". <asp:Literal runat="server" text="<% $SPUrl:~SiteCollection/mypage.aspx %>" /> does the same. The goal is to get this url: "http://myspweb.com/mypage.aspx" as result.

  • Static assembly initialization

    I'm attempting to develop an Interceptor framework (in C#) where I can simply implement some interfaces, and through the use of some static initialization, register all my Interceptors with a common Dispatcher to be invoked at a later time. The problem lies in the fact that my Interceptor implementations are never actually referenced by my application so the static constructors never get called, and as a result, the Interceptors are never registered. If possible, I would like to keep all references to my Interceptor libraries out of my application, as this is my way of (hopefully) enforcing loose coupling across different modules. Hopefully this makes some sense. Let me know if there's anything I can clarify... Does anyone have any ideas, or perhaps a better way to go about implementing my Interceptor pattern? TIA, Jeremy

    If I have a pair of dates, and I want to generate a list of all the dates between them (inclusive), I can do something like: System.DateTime s = new System.DateTime(2010, 06, 05); System.DateTime e = new System.DateTime(2010, 06, 09); var list = Enumerable.Range(0, (e - s).Days) .Select(value => s.AddDays(value)); What I'm stuck on is that I've got a list of pairs of dates that I want to explode into a list of all the dates between them. Example: {2010-05-06, 2010-05-09}, {2010-05-12, 2010-05-15} should result in {2010-05-06, 2010-05-07, 2010-05-08, 2010-05-09, 2010-05-12, 2010-05-13, 2010-05-14, 2010-05-15} Note the pairs of dates are guaranteed not to overlap each other.

  • asp.net could a half submitted web page be processed?

    Having a weird bug in production and just wondering if it's possible for a half submitted web page to processed by the server? The page has no view state just using plain old html controls and accessing data displayed in repeater on the back end via Request.Form[name] etc. Is it possible for a request to be truncated perhaps due to lost internet connection and the page still processed by the server. Therefore if field not part of the request Request.Form[name] could result in null? I know can use fiddler to modify request but unfortunately we are not allowed to change group policy and change the proxy! Many Thanks

(Also in heroku it is good practice for perfomance - dyno must work for small time in each request) But my client need result of it work and users can wait on that task. It is more clear: no any addition models or records in it, simple view and js... I think about such way: On client run AJAX with very long timeout (5 min for example) Client make request to server as usual On controller in action1 def start_work (with delay work setup) i need NO any response to client After work performs (delay job finished) i need run new action2 with response to client Client recieve response after about 1-5 min It is possible?

  • Form Submitting Incorrect Information to MySQL Database

    I've created a form that submits data to a MySQL database but the Date, Time, Year and Month fields constantly revert to the exact same date (1st January 1970) despite the fact that when I submit the information to the database the form displays the current date, time etc to me. I've already set it so that the time and date fields automatically display the current time and date. Could someone please help me with this.   • Unit testing nested subflows (subflows of subflows)

    I'm trying to write unit test for a flow, which has subflow, which, itself, has another subflow. I register first flow using FlowDefinitionResource getResource(FlowDefinitionResourceFactory resourceFactory). Then I register subflow definitions during test execution in FlowDefinitionRegistry before transitioning to them. Transitioning to "first level" subflow goes ok. The result of transitioning to subflow of current subflow - NoSuchFlowDefinitionException. The problem is that subflow definitions are all seem attached to the primary flow of the test and subflow can't be found within another subflow. Is there any way to attach subflow definition to another subflow in tests, which extend AbstractXmlFlowExecutionTests?

  • Assembly Resolver ignores PrivateBinPath

    I have an assembly I would like to load from a sub-folder of the appbase. I set that sub-folder in the PrivateBinPath during AppDomain creation. The issue is that I have another version of the same DLL in the appbase. From the way it looks, the resolver detects the wrong version first, says that there is a mismatch and stops. As a result the correct version (located in the sub-folder) never gets loaded. I have tested this by removing those DLLs in the appbase and it fixed the problem. Is there any way to force the search even if the wrong version is found?

    My DBA has constructed me a stored procedure in a Sybase database, for which I don't have the definition. If I run it, it returns a resultset with a set of columns and values. I would like to SELECT further to reduce the rows in the result set. Is this possible? From this question it seems like I could insert the results into a temporary table, but I'm not sure I've got permissions to do this. Is there any way I can SELECT certain rows, or if not, can someone give me example code for simulating with a temporary table?

Added Edit: chaged the above line: ->whereIn('i.ImageID = ?', array($input->ids)); with: ->whereIn('i.ImageID = array($input->ids)'); ...and it seems to work.

  • iPhone Accelerometer Values

    My question is about the iPhone accelerometer. Does the accelerometer measure acceleration or movement of the iPhone? What I mean is if I hold the iPhone and go from 0mph to 60mph, I would expect the measure of acceleration to increase in value from 0 to 60, but once I reach 60, I expect the value to return to 0 since I am "no longer accelerating" but am moving at a constant speed. Now if the accelerometer measure motion, I would expect it to register 0 to 60 and continue to provide a change in value as I move forward at 60mph. Sorry, I looked at a few books, programmed some code (values seemed to small to give a recognizable result over short distances or speeds), and a lot of web searches, and I am trying to get an answer to this question.     First, I wanna compare between 2 tables tb_wrapper and tb_summary to get the data in the tb_wrapper that doesn't exist in the tb_summary then save in $link. If I don't get the same data, I want to print the result $link. When I don't get the not same data, I want it to go to another process.   • Query with multiple IN-statements but without the cartesian product

    How could I make this kind of query e.g. in MySQL SELECT * FROM Table t WHERE t.a IN (1,2,3) AND t.b IN (4,5,6) AND t.c IN (7,8,9) ... so that the result would contain only the three rows: t.a|t.b|t.c ---+---+--- 1 | 4 | 7 2 | 5 | 8 3 | 6 | 9 The above query of course returns all the combinations of the values in the IN clauses but I would like to get just the ones where the first elements of each tuple match, second elements of each tuple match and so on. Is there any efficient way to do this? By the way is there some common term for this kind of query or concept? I'm having hard time coming up with the question's title because I can't put this into words..

  • Removing the last character of a string IF it is $variable

    Hi there, I've made a little script to convert titles into url friendly things. ie: 'I am a title' becomes 'I_am_a_title' My script basically goes through and turns spaces, apostrophes, commas etc etc into an underscore. The problem is, sometimes my url's end up like this: 'i_am_a_title_' with a trailing underscore... So i figure, add a little bit to go through and search to see if the last character is an underscore on the final result, and if it is, then swap it. I looked into the strrchr() function but I seem to be hitting a wall of my own understanding. How is this sort of thing accomplished?

  • Is this a good approach to execute a list of operations on a data structure in Python?

    I have a dictionary of data, the key is the file name and the value is another dictionary of its attribute values. Now I'd like to pass this data structure to various functions, each of which runs some test on the attribute and returns True/False. One approach would be to call each function one by one explicitly from the main code. However I can do something like this: #MYmodule.py class Mymodule: def MYfunc1(self): ... def MYfunc2(self): ... #main.py import Mymodule ... #fill the data structure ... #Now call all the functions in Mymodule one by one for funcs in dir(Mymodule): if funcs[:2]=='MY': result=Mymodule.__dict__.get(funcs)(dataStructure) The advantage of this approach is that implementation of main class needn't change when I add more logic/tests to MYmodule. Is this a good way to solve the problem at hand? Are there better alternatives to this solution?

    Has anyone come across a strange behaviour with the Camera API when used on Sony-Ericsson X10 or Droid? For example the following code doesn't work on those devices. As a result I'm getting a lot of negative feedback on the Market translating into many cancelled orders... mParameters.set("rotation", orientation); mParameters.set("jpeg-quality", img_quality); mParameters.set("picture-size", "1024x768"); mCamera.setParameters(mParameters); Could you suggest an alternative way of achieving the same?
