    I using the FileWatcher Class to locate changes on Files in a specific Folder. I managed to detect Changes on Files but not detailed Information. On the WatcherChangeTypes Enumeration Page http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/t6xf43e0%28v=VS.100%29.aspx they write the Change Type detects the changes include: changes to size, attributes, security settings, last write, and last access time. Is there a way to detect which kind of change happened?   • Examining a lambda expression at runtime in C#

    I have a method Get on a type MyType1 accepting a Func<MyType2, bool> as a parameter. An example of its use: mytype1Instance.Get(x => x.Guid == guid)); I would like create a stub implementation of the method Get that examines the incoming lambda expression and determines what the value of guid is. Clearly the lambda could be "anything", but I'm happy for the stub to make an assumption about the lambda, that it is trying to match on the Guid property. How can I do this? I suspect it involves the use of the built-in Expression type?

    I have a managed object with a dueDate attribute. If I change my sectionNameKeyPath to just "dueDate" then everything works fine. I think that's because the dueDate attribute never changes whereas the category will be different when read back after the finishedDate attribute changes. Please help!   • How to make a EditText work correctly in a ListView?

    Hallo all, I have a ListView, which contains an EditText in each of it's row. I also have an Array.The length of the Array==the Nr of the rows in the ListView. I want to store the user input (the text in the EditText) to the Arrray. E.g, if i type some text in the EditText in the first row of the ListView, i want the text to be stored in Array[0]. But how can i detect to which row the EditText belongs to? I can detect the possition of the row if the row contains a RadioGroup, but not a EditText. What if i first type some text in the EditText and sometime later i want to update mein Input? How can i update it? Thanks a lot!

  • Is there anyway to get pdb and Mac Terminal to play nicely?

    When debugging my django apps I use pdb for interactive debugging with pdb.set_trace(). However, when I amend a file the local django webserver restarts and then I cant see what I type in the terminal, until I type reset. Is there anyway for this to happen automatically? It can be real annoying, having to cancel the runserver and reset and restart it all the time. I'm told it doesn't happen on other OS's (ubuntu) so is there anyway to make it not happen on the Mac? (I'm using Snow Leopard).

    I am currently working on a game "engine" that needs to move values between a 3D engine, a physics engine and a scripting language. Since I need to apply vectors from the physics engine to 3D objects very often and want to be able to control both the 3D, as well as the physics objects through the scripting system, I need a mechanism to convert a vector of one type (e.g. vector3d<float>) to a vector of the other type (e.g. btVector3). Unfortunately I can make no assumptions on how the classes/structs are laid out, so a simple reinterpret_cast probably won't do. So the question is: Is there some sort of 'static'/non-member casting method to achieve basically this: vector3d<float> operator vector3d<float>(btVector3 vector) { // convert and return } btVector3 operator btVector3(vector3d<float> vector) { // convert and return } Right now this won't compile since casting operators need to be member methods. (error C2801: 'operator foo' must be a non-static member)

I can correct the problem by writing cout << (a>temp); where the operator> is similarly defined and i get no errors. but my assignment requires (temp < a) to work so this is where i ask for help.     I'm in the need to convert excel macros into jquery code, the function is that you need to click on the plus sign to unfold and show the sub rows to modify column2 if you want to type values in column2, the other columns can't be modified. You can't straightly modify values of column2 until you unfold the parent row, because there are many sub rows belonging to parent row,say Car. The values of Name, Model, Code are existing, they are master data, no need to type or modify. please see the snapshot at folded and unfolded, besides modifying values in sub rows , I need to be able to know which sub rows are modified and values of those rows.Initially the editable columns are blank. And when you click on the minus sign, the sub rows can be folded again,but the modified values won't be lost,they are still there when unfolded again. One last requirement is it's cross devices, the code must run well on pc,mobile phone,pad. Is that possible? Many thanks.

My initial impression when reading about deployJava.js was that it would do this out of the box when you simply set a version number as a function parameter for the "runApplet" function.     If I create this collection: IEnumerable<_TITLE> _titles = null; How can I set the result set from Netflix in this expression: _titles = from t in Titles where t.Id == "ApUFq" select new {t, t.Cast} I am getting: Cannot implicitly convert type 'System.Linq.IQueryable' to 'System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<_Title'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?) I understand it's because I am using an anonymous type. _TITLE is a custom complex object I create that exposes a subset of Netflix properties. If I add "_TITLE" in front the of the "new" it says that my object does not implement IENUMBERABLE. If then _TITLE implements IENUMBERABLE, it says _TITLE does not contain a definition for ADD and still getting conversion error. Basically, I want to set the _TITLE properties with the data returned from Netflix. I have defined _TITLE to contain the fields I need, plus a collection of PERSON (for Cast).

    Does anyone know of a jQuery plugin that has 'helpers' or extensions like those found in the YAHOO.lang namespace? I have in mind functions such as: isNull isDefined isString isFunction I would also appreciate the same kind of thing for strings and arrays, such as Contains, StartsWith (I know these are easy to write, I'm just looking for a plugin that encompasses them all). It's not in the YAHOO.lang namespace but also form related extensions- determining a radiobox's value (from the one checked), a form element's type in a friendly name. Specifically a plugin with fluent API rather than selector based such as $("input[@type=radio][@checked]") Again I'm aware they're easy to implement but I don't want to reinvent the wheel.

    I am displaying a django widget, with which I need to display additional information (something like a tool tip) that is attendant to the widget. I essentially have a widget that asks a random question, which is self contained. {{ form.fieldname }} displays the full widget which looks something like (à la the widget's render method): <label for="id_answer">Question:</label> <input type="hidden" name="question_id" value="n" /> <span class="prompt">What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?</span> <input type="text" name="answer" /> What I'm essentially asking is, is there a way to break out the prompt, so that I can lay the widget out piecemeal? I would like to lay it out not with a call to {{ form.fieldname }} as above, but like: {{ form.fieldname.label }} {{ form.fieldname.prompt }} {{ form.fieldname }} Does anyone know how to do this?

(I say unknown object type because I am not sure what direction to go) Once I have the data loaded I need to do some processing on certain elements that are now loaded into the new object. For sake of example, we can say that the xml file is full of elements named <car> and within the car element I need to process the <mileage> element.   • jQuery: load refuses to get dynamic content in IE6

    jQuery refuses to load my dynamic content in IE6. All in FireFox & Safari works fine. Only IE6 is being a pain. When I try the a html with <p>Hello World</p> that works. Properly. But when loading a PHP it doesn't work!     Read the EcmaScript specification, section 8.7 The Reference Specification Type: The Reference type is used to explain the behaviour of such operators as delete, typeof, and the assignment operators. […] A Reference is a resolved name binding. Function calls are permitted to return references. This possibility is admitted purely for the sake of host objects. No built-in ECMAScript function defined by this specification returns a reference and there is no provision for a user-defined function to return a reference. Those last two sentences impressed me. With this, you could do things like coolHostFn() = value (valid syntax, btw). So my question is: Are there any EcmaScript implementations that define host function objects which result in Reference values?

  • maven: multi module HAR dependencies

    I have a multiple module project The first module contains my hibernate xml files and data java beans and packages as har. The second module defines my DAO classes. This module has a dependancy on data java beans with in the har and is defined in pom.xml. <dependency> <groupId>myproject</groupId> <artifactId>myhar</artifactId> <version>1.0</version> <type>har</type> </dependency> The first module compiles, packages and installs fine into my local repository. The problem is when the second modules compiles it has a problem finding the packages and class defined in my har module. I get the following output from running mvn install package myproject.myhar does not exist and build fails.
