Facebook - generating fb tag in Jquery - not working

Hey guys Kind of stuck here - I have this functionality on my site where I display 10 user comments along with their photo and when a user clicks on "More" - using Jquery more results are fetched from DB and the results are displayed via string generated in the Jquery method. How do I bind to a custom view in Cocoa using Xcode 4?

I'm a beginner when it comes to writing Mac apps and working with Cocoa, so please forgive my ignorance. I'm looking to create a custom view, that exposes some properties, which I can then bind to an NSObjectController. Since it's a custom view, the Bindings Inspector obviously doesn't list any of the properties I've added to the view that I can then bind to using Interface Builder. After turning to the Stackoverflow/Google for help, I've stumbled across a couple of possible solutions, but neither seem to be quite right for my situation. The first suggested creating an IBPlugin, which would then mean my bindings would be available in the Bindings Inspector. I could then bind the view to the controller using IB. Apparently IBPlugins aren't supported in Xcode 4, so that one's out the window. I'm also assuming (maybe wrongly) that IBPlugins are no longer supported because there's a better way of doing such things these days? The second option was to bind the controller to the view programmatically. I'm a bit confused as to exactly how I would achieve this. Would it require subclassing NSObjectController so I can add the calls to bind to the view? Would I need to add anything to the view to support this? Some examples I've seen say you'd need to override the bind method, and others say you don't. Also, I've noticed that some example custom views call [self exposeBinding:@"bindingName"] in the initializer. From what I gather from various sources, this is something that's related to IBPlugins and isn't something I need to do if I'm not using them. Is that correct? I've found a post on Stackoverflow here which seems to discuss something very similar to my problem, but there wasn't any clear winner as to the best answer. The last comment by noa on 12th Sept seems interesting, although they mention you should be calling exposeBinding:. Is this comment along the right track? Is the call to exposeBinding really necessary? Apologies for any dumb questions. Any help greatly appreciated.

PHP Notice: Undefined index when looping array...

Hi, I'm looping a two-dimensional array like this: if (!empty($aka)) { foreach ($aka as $ak) { if($ak["lang"]=="es") { $sptitle=$ak["title"]; } } } Pretty simple. If the array ($aka) is not empty I loop trough it and when it finds that the "lang" index is equal to "es" I just save the "title" value for that index in $sptitle. The problem is that the array ($aka) contains a lot of information and sometimes there is no "lang" index... and I get this error: Notice: Undefined index: lang. How can I fix this??? This is a extract of the array to help you understand. Notice that [1] doesn't have a [lang] index but [2] does have: [1] => Array ( [title] => The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture [year] => [country] => USA [comment] => promotional title ) [2] => Array ( [title] => Señor de los anillos: La comunidad del anillo, El [year] => [country] => Argentina [comment] => Chile, Mexico, Peru, Spain [lang] => es ) Thanks!

Tomcat does not pick up the class file - the JSP file is not displayed

I have a Java code which is a controller for a jsp page, called: HomeController.java. Code is as follows: @Controller public class HomeController { protected final transient Log log = LogFactory.getLog(getClass()); @RequestMapping(value = "/mypage") public String home() { System.out.println("HomeController: Passing through..."); return "home"; } } There is nothing especial in the jsp page: home.jsp. If I go to this url: http://localhost:8080/adcopyqueue/mypage I can view mypage and everything works fine. Also in the tomcat Dos page I can see the comment: HomeController: Passing through... As expected. Now under the same directory that I have HomeController.java, I've created another file called: LoginController.java. Following is the code: @Controller public class LoginController { protected final transient Log log = LogFactory.getLog(getClass()); @RequestMapping(value = "/loginpage") public String login() { System.out.println("LoginController: Passing through..."); return "login"; } } And under the same place which I have home.jsp, I've created login.jsp. Also under tomcat folders, LoginController.class exists under the same folder that HomeController.class exists and login.jsp exists under the same folder which home.jsp exists. But when I go to this url: http://localhost:8080/adcopyqueue/loginpage Nothing is displayed! I think tomcat does not pick up LoginController.class b/c on the tomcat Dos window, I do NOT see this comment: LoginController: Passing through... Instead I see following which I do not know what do they mean? WCF REST Starter Kit not filling base class members on POST

I have a WCF REST Starter Kit service. The type handled by the service is a subclass of a base class. For POST requests, the base class members are not correctly populated. The class hierarchy looks like this: [DataContract] public class BaseTreeItem { [DataMember] public String Id { get; set; } [DataMember] public String Description { get; set; } } [DataContract] public class Discipline : BaseTreeItem { ... } The service definition looks like: [WebHelp(Comment = "Retrieve a Discipline")] [WebGet(UriTemplate = "discipline?id={id}")] [OperationContract] public Discipline getDiscipline(String id) { ... } [WebHelp(Comment = "Create/Update/Delete a Discipline")] [OperationContract] [WebInvoke(Method = "POST", UriTemplate = "discipline")] public WCF_Result DisciplineMaintenance(Discipline discipline) { ... } Problem: While the GET works fine (returns the base class Id and Description), the POST does not populate Id and Description even though the XML contains the fields. Can I detect whether an object has called GC.SuppressFinalize?

Is there a way to detect whether or not an object has called GC.SuppressFinalize? I have an object that looks something like this (full-blown Dispose pattern elided for clarity): public class ResourceWrapper { private readonly bool _ownsResource; private readonly UnmanagedResource _resource; public ResourceWrapper(UnmanagedResource resource, bool ownsResource) { _resource = resource; _ownsResource = ownsResource; if (!ownsResource) GC.SuppressFinalize(this); } ~ResourceWrapper() { if (_ownsResource) // clean up the unmanaged resource } } If the ownsResource constructor parameter is false, then the finalizer will have nothing to do -- so it seems reasonable (if a bit quirky) to call GC.SuppressFinalize right from the constructor. However, because this behavior is quirky, I'm very tempted to note it in an XML doc comment... and if I'm tempted to comment it, then I ought to write a unit test for it. But while System.GC has methods to set an object's finalizability (SuppressFinalize, ReRegisterForFinalize), I don't see any methods to get an object's finalizability. Is there any way to query whether GC.SuppressFinalize has been called on a given instance, short of buying Typemock or writing my own CLR host?

how can i check ID of a clicked element js

how can i check if an ID of a clicked element is lets say 'target'. what i am trying to do is actually show and hide comment form on clicking in the text field and hide it when the user clicks out of the form. the problem is that if the user clicks Submit button the form hides and nothing is sent over. so i'll have to check if the submit buttons id matches the clicked element and not hide it in this case. i am using ruby on rails remote_form_for and onblur and onfocus events now. this is my bigger form that i am showing. <div id="bigArea" style="display:none"> <% remote_form_for @horses do |f|%> <%= f.text_area :description, {:onBlur=>"{$(bigArea').hide();$('smallField').show();}"} %> <%= f.submit "Submit"%> <% end %> </div> and this is the smaller form field that hides everytime you click in it. <div id="smallField"> <%= text_field_tag 'sth',"Click to comment, {:onFocus=>"$('bigArea').show();$('smallField').hide();"} %> </div> My question is how can i disallow the form to hide when a user clicks submit button? i suppose i should check which element's id has been clicked. and if it's submit button's ID i should not hide the form. Or maybe there is some other way to do all this? i would greatly appreciate any answers!

Cocos2d on iPhone: Using Sprites Defined in Separate Class Files.

I'm trying to draw two sprites on the same screen. I have defined the two sprite objects in two separate class files. If I comment out two lines (see "item 1" comment below) then I get a display as [a backgroundimage[background2.jpg] with a sprite[grossini.png] on the left side. If I uncomment the two lines I do not get the background image and sprite of (gameScreen.m). I get only the sprite [grossinis_sister1.png] defined in (enemy.m). But what I need is a [backgroundimage[background2.jpg]], sprite[grossini.png] and sprite [grossinis_sister1.png] in one screen. With ASP.NET MVC, what is the preferred way to Ajaxify a simple form?

I am trying to add a simple comments/message box to a web page. When the user enters the comment and hits submit, I would like to save this message to the database and add the comment to the list displayed on the page, without refreshing the entire page. However, I am not sure of the best way to do that these days. I am using ASP.NET MVC 2. I have been trying to read up on using JQuery for this type of functionality, but I am having problems getting a full picture of the correct approach that isn't also out of date (i.e. it is using an preview version of MVC 1 or older version of JQuery). I can either find snippets of different pieces without the information of how they work together, or the information appears to be quite dated and no longer valid. Can someone point me in the right direction for something like this? Ideally, I am looking for a simple example of the JQuery code, a snippet of any key differences in an HTML form from a normal post method, and the basic method used in the MVC Controller. I need something to help the lightbulb of understanding to turn on. :) Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Reading input files in FORTRAN

Purpose: Create a program that takes two separate files, opens and reads them, assigns their contents to arrays, do some math with those arrays, create a new array with product numbers, print to a new file. Simple enough right? My input files have comment characters at the beginning. One trouble is, they are '#' which are comment characters for most plotting programs, but not FORTRAN. What is a simple way to tell the computer not to look at these characters? Since I have no previous FORTRAN experience, I am plowing through this with two test files. Filter Date using Date Picker in Yii

I have generated my crud screens using gii.. I have a search form, where i have put a date picker, where i give the user to select the date he wants. But the problem is that i have the date stored in seconds in the database. and i know that i can convert the date using strtotime. trouble with custom 'Text Bubble' component (examples included)

I'm trying to use a custom Text component to show a series of comments. I got the original idea from: http://www.eonflex.com/?p=40 I've got the base case working but I am stuck with 2 problems I cant seem to figure out: Since I am drawing around the text, the actual height of each bubble is greater than that of the Text field, as a result, the last bubble is always chopped off. I have tried explicitly overriding the height getter, and adding some padding, but I cant seem to get it right. You can see an example here: http://test.lambandtunafish.com/bubbles/CommentTest.swf In my layout, I have 2 VBoxes (one nested inside the other). The first vbox shows a form where the user can enter a comment, and the second box has all the comments. In order to ensure that the scrollbars only show up on the second box, I set minHeight="0" on the nested VBox, but then for some reason, some comments' text is shifted to the right. How to create workspace in TFS

Hi, I followed this way. To create a workspace to manage your source-controlled files 1. From the File menu, select Source Control, and then click Workspaces. 2. In the Manage Workspaces dialog box, click Add. 3. Type a descriptive name in the Name box, enter a comment describing the new workspace in the Comment box, and provide alternative Owner and Computer name values, as necessary. 4. Under Working Folders, in the Source Control Folder box, click the text box and then the ellipsis (…). 5. In the Browse for Folder dialog box, select a server folder, and then click OK. 6. Under Working Folders, in the Local Folder box, click the text box, and then click the ellipsis (…). 7. In the Browse for Folder dialog box, select a folder on your computer, and then click OK. 8. In the Add Workspace dialog box, click OK to create the workspace. 9. In the Manage Workspaces dialog box, click Close. when I click OK button it should get all the folder from TFS to my Local machine? but its not doing that after clcking ok and Close nothing is happening and my local floder does not contain this files tooo? jquery form extension ajax

I need to get the comment that the user submitted to be displayed in the respective div that it was submitted from. I can either set this as a hidden field in the form, or as text in the ajax-process.php file. I can't work out how to get the response from ajax-process.php into something I can work with in the script, if I run the following it appends to all the forms (obviously). The only way I can think to do it is to repeat the script using individual DIV ID's instead of a single class. Why is post() not updating the DOM after it returns? Wierd timing problem observed.

Hi all, I have the following code that is really bugging me, I'm thinking perhaps the post() function needs to be blocking. I am new to jQuery(latest version) and AJAX, but I'm using ColdFusion which returns some HTML in the data variable. var dataResult; var statusResult; $.post('fh_result.cfm',$('#myform').serialize(),function(data,status){ dataResult = data; statusResult = status; }); //alert(statusResult); if ('success' == statusResult) { alert(statusResult); $('#result').html(dataResult); } When I uncomment out the first alert, it returns 'undefined' but then it goes into the if block and the next alert box it says 'success'. If I comment out that line it doesn't make it into the if statement at all. My guess is that I want to make this a blocking call or something because I want to insert the data on the page after the post. I also have a problem when I re-write the top code as follows: var dataResult; var statusResult; $.post('fh_result.cfm',$('#myform').serialize(),function(data,status){ dataResult = data; statusResult = status; alert(statusResult); $('#result').html(dataResult); }); //alert(statusResult); Now in this case, the alert says 'success' when I comment out the second alert box. When I uncomment it out, I get one alert that says success and the other that says undefined, but this time it updates the DOM with the result of the postback as desired. How can I do this without the alert box?

Using curl to submit/retrieve a forms results

I need help in trying to use curl to post data to a page and retrieve the results after the form has been submitted. I created a simple form: <form name="test" method="post" action="form.php"> <input type="text" name="name" size="40" />e <input type="text" name="comment" size="140" /> <input type="submit" name="submit" value="submit" /> </form> In addition, I have php code to handle this form in the same page. All it does is echo back the form values. The curl that I have been using is this: $h = curl_init(); curl_setopt($h, CURLOPT_URL, "path/to/form.php"); curl_setopt($h, CURLOPT_POST, true); curl_setopt($h, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, array( 'name' = 'yes', 'comment' = 'no' )); curl_setopt($h, CURLOPT_HEADER, false); curl_setopt($h, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); $result = curl_exec($h); When I launch the page with the curl code in it, I get the form.php page contents but it doesn't not show the variables that PHP should have echo'd when the form is submitted. would appreciate any help with this. Better way to implement custom views in a listview with simpleadapter?

I have a value called tags which is a comma separated list of words. I want to put this into nicely designed "tag-buttons". The below works. The initialization works, and when I place a new file in the monitored directory, the program reaches the fileCreated sub. I can even see that e.FullPath is set correctly. However, it exits abruptly right after that with no error code (none that I can see, anyways). If I comment everything in the fileCreated sub out, the program continues running as expected. Any ideas as to why it's dying on me? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm fairly new to VS/VB.NET, so maybe I'm just making a silly mistake. Thanks!

Can't seem to get my like/dislike to work in PHP

My table is comment_likedislike. It has the comment_counterid, comment_counter, comment_id(which is from another table) fields. And I have an url (LIKE) that when clicked would link to this code and get the comment_id and like_id. I want to do a count where if it is the first 'like', it would store a new comment_counter in the comment_likedislike table. But if there is already a 'like' for the comment in the table, it would just update the comment_counter to +1. Problem: When I run this code, it doesn't UPDATE(1st statement) but INSERT(2nd if statement) no matter if there is a like for the comment or not. I don't think the code is checking if the comment_id is in the table already. I am a novice php programmer. Need help with jquery json data transfer from php file

Hey guys I am trying to return the latest 10 results of a query from a php file, through json format, to a jquery getjson function that prints results. I am getting weird problems though. For example I am only getting 8 entries returned, and some are disordered, and sometimes nothing is returned. I am not really sure what I am doing wrong, so if anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it. Rendering ListBox takes too long on Windows Phone

I am working on a Windows Phone 7 Application using Local SQLite Database and I'm having an issue with the rendering time of pages that use DataBinding. Currently it takes 60-70ms to retrieve the data from the database. Then it takes about 3100ms to render the data retrieved using a ListBox with DataBinding. Here you can see the DataTemplate of the ListBox: <DataTemplate x:Key="ListBoxItemTemplate"> <Grid> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="68" /> <ColumnDefinition /> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <TextBlock x:Name="TimeColumn" Text="{Binding TimeSpan}" Grid.Column="0" Grid.Row="0" Foreground="White" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" /> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Stop.StopName}" Grid.Column="1" Grid.Row="0" Margin="15,0,0,0" TextWrapping="NoWrap" Foreground="Black" HorizontalAlignment="Left" VerticalAlignment="Center" /> </Grid> </DataTemplate> Comment: I have tried it using Canvas instead of Grid too, same result. Then, the database loads data into a CSList (using ViciCoolStorage) and that gets Binded to the ListBox: StationList.ItemsSource = App.RouteViewModel.RouteStops; Comment: I have tried to add the elements of the CSList to an ObservableCollection and bind that to the interface but didn't seem to change anything. Question: Am I doing something wrong that results in a huge load time - even if just loading 10 elements -, or this is normal? I am trying to run an ubuntu 11, in VMplayer 5 on an ubuntu 12.04 host, and when trying to run the guest, i get this error, and no display. The specified device is claimed by another driver (uvcvideo) on the host operating system. The device might be in use. To Continue, the device will first be disconnected from its current driver.
