    I am using eclipse , when I use shortcut to generate override implementations , there is an override annotation up there , I am using JDK 6 , this is all right , but under JDK 5 this annotation will cause an error, so I want to ask , if this annotation is completely useless ? Will compiler do some kind of optimization using this annotation ?

  • Attach labels to items in TFS from the PowerBuilder IDE?

    We do this using the 'Advanced' button on the checkin dialog now (with Merant, nee PVCS) but the 'Advanced' button is disabled when I set TFS as my SCC provider. Is there a switch we can flip on either side to enable this? Or do we need to write some custom extension? Or can I get the TFS changeset number to associate with the change in PB? Or am I coming at doing selective builds entirely the wrong way?

  • TFS: How do I view .cs files in the VS IDE when viewing details of a shelveset?

    For our code review process we open the details of a shelveset to see all files that have been worked on. Right clicking and choosing "Compare" works great for existing ( modified ) files. But, when a file has been added I just want to view the file. Double clicking ( or right click - view ) opens .cs ( and .sql )files in notepad. When I try to open a .PRC file ( extension for our stored procedures ) I get a prompt that allows me to choose what program to use for viewing. Does anyone know how to get this prompt to show up for .cs files ( and all other files, for that matter ) Thanks!   • ASP.NET in VS IDE gives "Expression cannot be evaluated at this time."

    I read all of similar questions in SO but none seem to be an answer. Situation is simple. I have a ASP.NET webpage, In a VB code behind file I have the following line: iRendProvider = ddlProvider.SelectedItem.Value where iRendProvider is integer and ddlProvider is a dropdownlist. I put a breakpoint at the above line and code stops there. Now in the immdediate window in I type: ? ddlProvider.SelectedItem.Value I get "Expression cannot be evaluated at this time." If I step over iRendProvider = ddlProvider.SelectedItem.Value To the next line and I type ? iRendProvider , I see the correct value in the immediate window. Question is why this error and how to see contents of ddlProvider.

    Hello, I have a "database solution" project in VS2008 - it generates SQL for more than one DB vendor from some sort of templates. In order to save time, I also have a tool in VS2008 configured (a Python script), which can compile an individual stored procedure. Now, with the Python script I have the freedom of processing the output and have it take on whatever form I want. I am toying with an idea of having these errors and warnings somehow recognized and populating the click-able Error / Warning list. This is what a typical Oracle error looks like: LINE/COL ERROR -------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- 324/5 PL/SQL: Statement ignored 324/82 PLS-00363: expression 'VSOURCE_SYSTEM_ID' cannot be used as an assignment target Warning: Procedure created with compilation errors. PROCEDURE: ADD_PROPOSED error on creation Errors for PROCEDURE ADD_PROPOSED: LINE/COL ERROR This might be a long shot, but it is worthwhile for me. I do this stuff a lot. Thank you!

  • Visual Studio IDE - how do you quickly find the implementation(s) of an interface's method?

    Is there a quick way to find all of the implementations of, not references to, an interface's method/property/etc? Here's some sample code: public class SomeClass : IBaseClass { public Int32 GetInt() { return 1; } } public interface IBaseClass { public Int32 GetInt(); } public class SomeOtherClass { ISomeClass _someClass; private TestMethod() { _someClass = new SomeClass(); _someClass.GetInt(); } } I want to quickly get to SomeClass.GetInt() while reviewing SomeOtherClass.TestMethod(). If I right click on _someClass.GetInt() and click 'Go To Definition', it takes me to the interface. If I click 'Find All References', I could potentially see a list of all uses ... not just the classes that implement the GetInt() method. Is there a faster way to find this? Any tips from other developers? We are using D.I. for most of our dependencies, which means that tracing through deeply nested code takes forever.

    Hello all I'm trying to create a page where a list of items are displayed in a row where there are multiple columns on the left, but only one on the right, encased within a horizontialFieldManager. Currently I have the following code to attempt to do the following: VerticalFieldManager mainScreenManager = new VerticalFieldManager(); mainScreenManager.add(titleField); for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++) { HorizontalFieldManager itemAreaManager = new HorizontalFieldManager(); VerticalFieldManager itemTextFieldsAreaManager = new VerticalFieldManager(); itemTextFieldsAreaManager.add(new RichTextField(contentArticleTitle[i])); itemTextFieldsAreaManager.add(new RichTextField(contentArticleDate[i])); itemTextFieldsAreaManager.add(new SeparatorField()); itemAreaManager.add(itemTextFieldsAreaManager); itemAreaManager.add(new ButtonField("", 0)); mainScreenManager.add(itemAreaManager); }; add(mainScreenManager); Now the issue I'm experiencing is probably obvious to those familiar with managers; the horizontialFieldManager has the first item added to it consuming the entire width available, thereby never showing the button. What I'm wondering is how can I tell this in an extended class to only take up a certain percentage of the available width? I've tried subLayout and setting the width to be a certain amount, but it will just show the button instead of the text (pretty much same problem, just reversed)

    before answer me plz thinking about the futures of these kind of program and answer me plz. I wanna get some data from oracle server like: 1-get all the function,package,procedure and etc for showing them or drop them & etc... 2-compile my *.sql files,get the result if they have problem & etc... becuz I was beginner in oracle first of all I for solve the second problem I try to connect to sqlPlus by RUN sqlplus and trace the output(I mean,I change the output stream of shell and trace what happend and handle the assigned message to customer. NOW THIS PART SUCCEED. just a little bit I have problem with get all result because the output is asynchronous.any way... [in this case I log in to oracle Server by send argument to the sqlplus by make a process in c#] after that I try to get all function,package or procedure name,but I have problem in speed!so I try to use oracle.DataAccess.dll to connect the database. now I m so confusing about: which way is correct way to build a program that work like Oracle Developer! I do not have any experience for like these program how work. If Your answer is I must use the second way follow this part plz: I search a little bit the Golden,PLedit (Benthic software),I have little bit problem how I must create the connection string?because I thinking about how I can find the host name or port number that oracle work on them?? am I need read the TNSNames.Ora file?   • Using the Onboard VGA output with a PCIe video card. Both nVidia

    I have 2 video cards, one On board, a nVidia 6150SE nForce 430 and a PCIe nVidia GeForce GT 220 1GB DDR2 RAM I have already configured the PCIe card to use the dual monitor feature, using the VGA and HDMI ports, but now I want to add a third monitor, using the On board VGA port I have managed to enable the On board graphics processor, which is taking 400MB of ram, but I cant manage to use it, nvidia-settings does not detect it, like it's not usable (but is there) My questions are the following: How can I manage to get the On board VGA display to work together with the PCIe graphics card? If possible, how can I recover those 400 MB the on board card is taking (even without being used) or how can I get it to use the PCIe card available memory? System Details: Linux 2.6.35-28-generic i686 Ubuntu 10.10 (All updates installed) NVIDIA Driver Version: 260.19.06 (Official) If more info is needed please let me know. Now, people at work, which may not be HTML savvy, will be creating new articles and then posting them to this knowledge base. Is there something you can recommend that would allow such type of user to create a document on somthing similar to Microsoft Word but web based and then publish?   • How to Recover HDD Formatted by "Create a Recovery Drive" Tool of Windows 8.1?

    I have 2 TB USB HDD which had these drives F: about 1 TB with 750 GB data H: about 120 GB with 60 GB data I: about 780 GB with 250 GB data (For TV: It was raw in Windows but visible in the Smart TV) I took 521 MB from last part of H to get new G drive. Then I run "Create a Recovery Drive" tool of Windows 8.1 and chose G drive. It said all data in the drive will be deleted. I thought it is just G drive but it deleted my whole HDD. It created 32 GB new F drive with writing 337 MB on it and rest of HDD is unallocated. I tried these programs to get my first 3 drives but non of them helped for getting 1st partition. TestDisk MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition EaseUS Partition Master 9.2.2 (I deleted new F drive volume because it scans only unallocated part) Recuva PC Inspector File Recovery

  • How do I transfer a Windows 7 installation to a new HDD?

    I've just got all the parts I need to build a new PC but the SATAII hard drive I ordered did not come and I've received an IDE drive instead. While I wait to get the correct drive type and send the new IDE drive back, is it possible to install Windows 7 on to an existing IDE drive that I have and then transfer the contents of that drive over to the new SATA disk when it arrives without Windows having any issues?

    I'm currently using a Motorola WiMAX modem (CPEi 25725) and cannot connect to the internet. I can connect to the modem at 192.168.15.1 and check its status. It says that it has good/excellent connectivity to the internet and shows all five signal bars. Additionally it has sent and received some WiMAX packets so I believe it is connected to a tower. I'm at a loss for what the problem is. Unplugging the modem, restarting it from software, and restarting my computer (Windows 7) have not helped. Windows still reports that it is not connected to the internet. Alternatively, could this be an ISP issue? I have heard that Clearwire is a not-so-reputable ISP that blocks VoIP, and I was using Skype recently.

  • DISK BOOT FAILURE after upgrading power supply

    After upgrading my power supply, I get the following error message when trying to boot into Windows 7. DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER My Windows 7 installation is on a SATA hard drive. I'm able to fix this problem if I hook up my IDE hard drive, then it boots the SATA hard drive fine. I don't like this solution though because then that means my IDE hard drive is drawing power even though it isn't being used. Why would a newer power supply need the IDE hard drive hooked up just to boot into the SATA hard drive? There are no boot files on the IDE hard drive; it is completely empty. My old power supply did not need it hooked up in order to boot the SATA hard drive.
