    My client had me deploy some folders out to a bunch of home directories for his customer websites. I did this with a Bash script, but it ended up using the root account permissions. How do I make a Bash script that takes each folder under /home/user (not hidden files or folders), gets the user and group ownership of that folder, and then does a chown -R {user}.{group} /home/user? The servers are running CentOS Linux.

    It is possible to use the include = /somepath/%u.smb.conf in the global section to call a script /somepath/cb0.smb.conf if the user cb0 connects to the samba server. Unfortunately this does not wotk for me because testparm alway gives me Can't find include file /somepath/.smb.conf When I connect to the server I can enter a username and pass but it alway rejects the connection. I'm using Samba Version 3.2.5 How can I achieve to load a custom user script depending on the user that is connecting ?

    I wrote a setup script to install my prefered programs and settings after I got a new server. apt-get install git git clone http://[email protected] .vim ln -s .vimrc .vim/vimrc ... But if something wrong happens during setup, how can I interrupt the setup script, and log the error(s)? For example, if github server is down, it's obviously useless to create a symbolic link to non-existed vimrc. (or you have a better approach to initialize a server?)

    Hello everyone, I have a simple script which runs on a FreeBSD machine with the following code: #!/bin/sh `sed -i .bak '\:#start 172.0.0.3:,\:#end 172.0.0.3:d' /usr/local/etc/racoon/racoon.conf` echo $? It should delete a block of text between the two patterns. The problem is that if I run the sed command directly from shell it works, if i run the script the return code is 0. Why's that?

    I have an issue when trying out one of the example scripts in the autohotkey docs: http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/scripts/NumpadMouse.htm When a program like Notepad++ gets focus, the script does not seem to receive key events, and instead the key events seem to be consumed by Notepad++. Is there a modification to the script that would allow it to receive the events no matter what window was open?

    Alright, so recently I was using Notepad++ for all of my programming needs, but I've started using Eclipse for larger-scale Java projects now. I decided to pick up an old project of mine which used various classes within the "javax.xml.*" namespaces. When I was compiling and running the program with Notepad++ it worked just fine, however Eclipse can't seem to find these packages. My question is this, since I obviously have the classes somewhere within my current installation of JDK 6 (since I had no problems when using Notepad++), where can I find the location of the .JAR file(s) that include these namespaces/classes so that I can add them to my Eclipse project? Without the @if it works, but it's there, we need it.
