  • Flex3 Linechart points are too close to the edge

    I have a Flex3 LineChart component using an CircleItemRenderer and the datapoints are being cut off because they are too close to the edge. Here's what it looks like: http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/3850/chartx.png As you can see, the circles on the left and right sides are being cut off. How can I make the LineSeries area, plus the horizontal labels, narrower so it fits in the chart area? Thanks!

  • Anyone know of a good open source spam checker in java or c#?

    I'm creating a site where users can write articles and comment on the articles. I want to automatically check to see if a new article or comment is spam. What are good libraries for doing this? I looked at bayesian classifier libraries, but it seems that I would have to gather a large amount of samples and classify them all as spam or not spam myself... I'm looking for something that can hopefully just tell me right out of the box.

  • jQuery UI Dialog cause page jump on open & close on ASP.NET

    Hello all, I have an ASP.NET C# page, with image thumbnails in it. I created a script that opens a jQuery UI Dialog on each hover on a thumbnail that shows me the thumbnail in larger size in a dialog view, and when I hover out - dialog closes. My little annoying problem is, that in every mouseover (trigger dialog to open) - the page makes itself 'longer' - a scrollbar appears on the side of the browser, and it seems like the page gets longer when a dialog is openning, but it shouldn't do so. When I hover off (mouseout) - the dialog disappears and the page returns to its normal state. Because of this- when I hover through the thumbnails, my page 'jumps'. I looked for a solution for this, and I've added return false; for each dialog open, and close - and it still doesn't make any different. Sorry for the unperfect english, and thanks for all helpers!

    Is there any possible way to change the "cancel" tool tip that pops up over the X box on a dijit.dialog? I just want it to read "close". I'm somewhat new to dojo. I expect this might be just a dumb question that has a really easy answer, but I am finding no examples. Thanks in advance.

    I recently saw a bit of code that looked like this (with sock being a socket object of course): sock.shutdown(socket.SHUT_RDWR) sock.close() What exactly is the purpose of calling shutdown on the socket and then closing it? If it makes a difference, this socket is being used for non-blocking IO.

    Hi, I'm looking for a user interface for a MediaPlayer which should be able to play video as well as audio files. Furthermore it needs the following things (nothing fancy): TextView for playing time Progress Bar for progress visulization Play/Pause/Stop buttons NO playlist functionality required, the player will only play a single item (that's why I don't need next/previous buttons). It sounds pretty much like the standard audio-player of Android = 2.0. Sure, I could try to find its source code but that would require to tediously check out the entire source.     Hello, I have Dojo 1.4, and the lightbox is working. But the close button doesnt work with IE, I can see it, just not click it. With Firefox it workes all ok. So I assume the code and css are all ok. Any ideas? Greg

However after authentication, the popup window just stays open and the main window is not directed anywhere. In fact, it is the popup window that goes to "/register/step2" How can I get the login window to close as expected, and to pass the facebook session id to /register/step2? Thanks!

  • Lightbox close and loading images not showing

    I am using Lightbox 2 and I have followed the short tutorial on how to insert it in a webpage and it works perfectly but the close and refresh images don't show. They are replaced with the classic Mac OS X '?' box. I have checked the paths of these images in the lightbox.js file and they are correct. Thanks in advance!
