    It comes up from time to time and I'm wondering of it's possible to use type info when searching in visual studio, or is there a plugin that includes this? I'd like to search for the phrase "x == " or "x.ToString();" where x is of type 'Person'. The normal regex searches are strictly searching the text as opposed to the content and I figured out a long time ago that any thought I have is never the first.

  • List all possible combinations of k integers between 1...n (n choose k)

    Hi, Out of no particular reason I decided to look for an algorithm that produces all possible choices of k integers between 1...n, where the order amongst the k integer doesn't matter (the n choose k thingy). From the exact same reason, which is no reason at all, I also implemented it in C#. My question is: Do you see any mistake in my algorithm or code? And, more importantly, can you suggest a better algorithm? Please pay more attention to the algorithm than the code itself. It's not the prettiest code I've ever written, although do tell if you see an error. EDIT: Alogirthm explained - We hold k indices. This creates k nested for loops, where loop i's index is indices[i]. It simulates k for loops where indices[i+1] belongs to a loop nested within the loop of indices[i]. indices[i] runs from indices[i - 1] + 1 to n - k + i + 1.     I'm using a datapager control on my listview to perform paging in it. When paging through the table, I need to perform some validations. When these validations are not successfull, the paging should be cancelled. I currently perform the validation in the PagePropertiesChanging event of the ListView, however, the arguments do not provide a Cancel property. protected void MyListView_PagePropertiesChanging(object sender, PagePropertiesChangingEventArgs e) { if (!Validate()) { // cancel the paging action} } Does anyone know if canceling the paging is possible and how to perform it?   • JSTree, is it possible to add a handle?

    I'm very interested in using JSTree for a Sortable list that allows for nesting. The problem is, in my list items I want things like checkboxes, etc... which isn't possible because the entire list is draggable with JSTREE. Is there a way to add a handler to JSTree so only when the handler is clicked the list is draggable?   • Is it possible to attach a debugging session to a running program in eclipse CDT

    I'm writing a netscape iplanet plugin (on solaris/C using eclipse) which is basically a shared object with specific entry points, and I'd like to be able to debug the shared object with eclipse's debugger (gdb). I remember doing something similar in AIX where you could make xldb attach to a running process. Is it possible to get eclipse to run gdb to attach to a running binary? And should I expect grief because I want to debug a dynamically loaded piece of code?
