  When using FinalBuilder to package our website, I would like it to be able to set the filename when it creates the file set with a variable somewhere else. So the filename would be Website 1.4.exe Has anyone got this working?

  I see examples about code-only POCO for en entity framework 4, but I cannot find the classes EntityConfiguration and ContextBuilder and I cannot see which reference I need to add to have them. Is it part of the .Net Framework 4 or do we have to download something else?

  Per the above I am trying to re-target a fresh ASP.NET MVC 2 application in Visual Studio 2010 RTM. After all sorts of tweaking the closest I am getting is the error below: The primary reference "System.Web.Mvc, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35, processorArchitecture=MSIL" could not be resolved because it has an indirect dependency on the framework assembly "System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" which could not be resolved in the currently targeted framework. ".NETFramework,Version=v3.5". To resolve this problem, either remove the reference "System.Web.Mvc, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35, processorArchitecture=MSIL" or retarget your application to a framework version which contains "System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a". Is there anyone who can assist in having this re-targeted to .NET Framework 3.5 (SP1), or is there perhaps a zip file of a VS 2010 + .NET Framework v3.5 + ASP.NET MVC 2 RTM project already online I could grab?

  Are there any downsides to UPX-ing my 32-bit Python 2.6.4 development environment EXE/PYD/DLL files? The reason I'm asking is that I frequently use a custom PY2EXE script that UPX's copies of these files on every build. Yes, I could get fancy and try to cache UPXed files, but I think a simpler, safer, and higher performance solution would be for me to just UPX my Python 2.6.4 directory once and be done with it.   Is it possible to change the jre parameter values after the exe file is generated through Launch4j? The ideal scenario is like this: The default parameter values are applied when the program is started. However, when the user wants to change some jre parameter values, he goes to a .ini file, MyProgram.ini for example, changes the values there, and the new values will be applied next time the program is started. I think eclipse uses the same way for its memory and some other parameter settings.

  Am I doing something wrong here? I have a text area on a view and am posting back the html contents. In VS 2008 and MVC 1.0 the following code successfully prevents input validation: [HttpPost] [ValidateInput(false)] public ActionResult Index(int? id) { return View(); } If I execute this code in VS 2010 / MVC 2.0 I always get this error: A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client (body="").   I have an existing WCF RIA project built on the Release Candidate; I'm now moving to the Release version & have discovered many changes. David Scruggs made the following comment on his (MSDN) blog: "If you’ve written anything in SIlverlight 4 RIA Services, you’ll need to rewrite it. There has been a lot of refactoring and namespace moves." Having made a brief attempt to compile the old solution with the new RIA framework I'm inclined to agree. My current plan is to: remove the Silverlight Business Application projects from the Solution rebuild the EF4 items from the database create a new Silverlight Business Application project re-add the files (XAML, CS) from the old Silverlight Business Application project Does this sound like a reasonable approach? I think it's cleaner than trying to manually alter the existing project.
