    I apologize if this is answered elsewhere. So far (thanks to a post from Rob Mensching), my code will detect .NET 4.0 if it's installed and it'll pass right over it. I'm not able to correctly detect Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable OR Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 Service Pack 2. My code is below.   • Create a CSR in C# using an explicit RSA key-pair

    Using the OpenSSL libraries one can create a CSR (certificate signing request) by doing this: openssl genrsa -out rsa.key 1024 openssl req -new -key rsa.key -out output.csr -config config.txt where config.txt contains the distinguished name to use in the certificate. I would like to do something similar under Windows using C#. However, the method createPKCS10 does not require you to supply an RSA key. Is there a way to get C# to generate an explicit RSA private key and then use that private key to create the CSR?

In jQuery, a DOM node or jQuery object can be passed as an attribute in a query, which sets the scope: var myScope = $('#someDiv'); $('a',myScope).addClass('red'); $('li',myScope).css('display','inline'); Now, in Dojo I can chain several .query()s after each other, but what should I do if I have a certain DOM node - not a nodeList - that I want to use as a scope?   • Refactoring many nested ifs or chained if statements

    Hi, I have an object with large number of similar fields (like more than 10 of them) and I have to assign them values from an array of variable length. The solution would be either a huge nested bunch of ifs based on checking length of array each time and assigning each field OR a chain of ifs checking on whether the length is out of bounds and assigning each time after that check. Both seem to be repetitive. Is there a better solution ?

  • How do i select the 1st and then every 4th row in a html-table with nth-child()-selector?

    Ok, math isn't my strong side, I admit it. All I want to do is to select the first, 5th, 9th, 13th, 17th etc row in a html-table. Can anybody with better math-skills point me in the right directionor perhaps supply a "nth-child-for-dummies" guide? I tried nth-child(1n+4) (which selects the 4th row and everyone after), and i also tried nth-child(0n+4) which selects the fourth row and nothing after that. Thanks in advance.

In order to do that I need to:- Set the system-wide proxy to an invalid URL during the test(sounds like a bad idea). Supply an invalid URL to http_proxy. How can I achieve either of the above?

    With the following simple mark-up, I get very strange behaviour in FF and IE8. If I give the textbox focus, and tab out, nothing happens. If I give a user name value, and erase it immediately, nothing happens. However, only when I supply a user name, tab away, the erase it and tab away again, do I finally get a red star "required" mark. The summary doesn't show at all.

    I want to supply the shared libs along with my program rather than using the system's: ldd says my program uses these shared libs: linux-gate.so.1 = (0xf7ef0000)(made by kernel) libc.so.6 = /lib32/libc.so.6 (0xf7d88000)(libc-2.7.so) /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xf7ef1000)(ld-2.7.so) I have successfully linked ld-xxx.so by compiling like this: gcc -std=c99 -D_POSIX_C_SOURCE=200112L -O2 -m32 -s -Wl,-dynamic-linker,ld-2.7.so myprogram.c But I have not managed to successfuly link libc-xxx.so. How can I do that ?

  • Problem installing MySQLdb on windows - Can't find python

    I'm trying to install the module mySQLdb on a windows vista 64 (amd) machine. I've installed python on a different folder other than suggested by Python installer. When I try to install the .exe mySQLdb installer, it can't find python 2.5 and it halts the installation. Is there anyway to supply the installer with the correct python location (even thou the registry and path are right)?

    I'm trying to export data to a csv file. It should contain a header (from datastack) and restacked arrays with my data (from datastack). One line in datastack has the same length as dataset. The code below works but it removes parts of the first line from datastack.   • How to get Autocomplete functioanlity without a control

    IF you supply a list of strings to an edit control and set the autocomplete mode and source then you automatically get auto complete functionality. My question is can I get the same functioanlity in .NET somewhere without a control. In other words I want something like string[] ProgressivePartialMatch( string[] Strings, string MatchText ) and so I want the strings back that would have showed up in the auto complete so to speak
