  • express+jade: provided local variable is undefined in view (node.js + express + jade)

    Hello. I'm implementing a webapp using node.js and express, using the jade template engine. Templates render fine, and can access helpers and dynamic helpers, but not local variables other than the "body" local variable, which is provided by express and is available and defined in my layout.jade. This is some of the code: app.set ('view engine', 'jade'); app.get ("/test", function (req, res) { res.render ('test', { locals: { name: "jake" } }); }); and this is test.jade: p hello =name when I remove the second line (referencing name), the template renders correctly, showing the word "hello" in the web page. When I include the =name, it throws a ReferenceError: 500 ReferenceError: Jade:2 NaN. 'p hello' NaN. '=name' name is not defined NaN. 'p hello' NaN. '=name' I believe I'm following the jade and express examples exactly with respect to local variables. Am I doing something wrong, or could this be a bug in express or jade?

Rebuild unusable index Exchange Partition Convertion Mutual convertion between a partition (or subpartition) and a nonpartitioned table Mutual convertion between a hash-partitioned table and a partition of a composite *-hash partitioned table Mutual convertiton a [range | list]-partitioned table into a partition of a composite *-[range | list] partitioned table. Exchange Partition Usage Scenario High-speed data loading of new, incremental data into an existing partitioned table in DW environment Exchanging old data partitions out of a partitioned table, the data is purged from the partitioned table without actually being deleted and can be archived separately Exchange Partition Syntax ALTER TABLE schema.table EXCHANGE [PARTITION|SUBPARTITION] [partition|subprtition] WITH TABLE schema.table [INCLUDE|EXCLUDING] INDEX [WITH|WITHOUT] VALIDATION UPDATE [INDEXES|GLOBAL INDEXES] INCLUDING | EXCLUDING INDEXES Specify INCLUDING INDEXES if you want local index partitions or subpartitions to be exchanged with the corresponding table index (for a nonpartitioned table) or local indexes (for a hash-partitioned table). Also, both the source and target must have mapping tables, or neither can have a mapping table. – Both the source and target must have identical storage attributes for any LOB columns.

  • jQuery AJAX call undefined error with special characters

    Hi, I tried to make an AJAX call using jQuery, the data has special characters, e.g {'data':'<p>test</p>'}. It seems failed to pass this data in the first place. It will work if i just pass {'data':'test'}. encodeURIComponent and JSON.stringify failed here due to the special character < > /. Could anyone please help with it?   • Multithreading: Communication from Parent thread to child thread

    I have a List of threads normally 3 threads each of the threads reference a webbrowser control that communicates with the parent control to populate a datagridview. What I need to do is when the user clicks the button in a datagridviewButtonCell corresponding data will be sent back to the webbrowser control within the child thread that originally communicated with the main thread. but when I try to do this I receive the following error message 'COM object that has been separated from its underlying RCW cannot be used.' my problem is that I can not figure out how to reference the relevant webbrowser control. I would appreciate any help that anyone can give me.
