    This is more a curiosity question than anything else... I know that the top part could be put in the header and the bottom part just before body tag to ensure the page loaded before it's tracked, but I'm wondering if there's something more to it. Anyone who'd know that would likely know how to separate the code into two tags anyway. I'm only asking as this is coming from the Goog and is being used by millions of sites... Thanks

    I'm trying to make semantic urls for search pages, but if someone use a search finished in dot, the .net engine return a 404. The request don't even get to the routing engine, so i think its something related to security or something like that. For example, the stackoverflow routes also don't work in these case: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/etc.

  • Business Objects: Refresh Data problem with .NET API

    I'm currently using the BO API for .NET to connect to our reports database. In .NET, I'm getting the following error: Your security profile does not include permission to refresh Web Intelligence documents. (WIS 30253) Interestingly enough, I can log into BO, and I can refresh the data and grab prompts as I'm logged in. From .NET, with the same username and password, I can't seem to do so. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

    i decompiled an Android .apk file using dex2jar, grabbed the java source files using jd-gui "File Save All Sources" and got a .zip file and the java files within. I did exactly the steps in this "guide": http://a4apphack.com/security/sec-code/extract-android-apk-from-market-and-decompile-it-to-java-source. Then i made some changes in a couple of the java files, now i am wondering how i can recreate an apk file. Decompiling with apktool, backsmali and smali tools work with .smali files, but now i have .java files...

  • Downloading Spreadsheets From Google Docs

    Hello, I am working on an Android app that uses the gdata-java-client to download documents for display only. So far I have an application that authenticates with the services and displays a list of user documents. When the user selects a document another query is made for the documents itself. A request for txt, html, rtf and doc files works well, however when I request a spreadsheet in either .csv or .xsl format the result is unexpected. I'm using an HTTPResponse object to store the result of a an HTTPRequest. When I request a document in .csv or .xsl format the HTTPResponse.parseAsString() method produces an entire html page which appears to be the Google Docs home page. Sounds strange, but the result is the actual html for the login page. The HTTPResponse.getStatusMessage returns a 200. Seems like I am missing something simple here. Is there another property of the HTTPResponse that contains the .csv data? I am pretty sure that I am using the correct uri for downloading spreadsheets because it works when I download through my browser. I'm keeping in mind these devices are newer and have better hardware but am also wondering if the platform and the implementation affect performance much and if there is anything that could reduce runtimes on 2.2 devices. Note, the classes.dex of the .apk being accessed is roughly 4MB. Thanks!

  • How to set the VirtualDocumentRoot based on the files within

    I'm trying to set up Apache to use the VirtualDocumentRoot directive but my sites aren't all exactly the same. Most of the sites have a drupal folder which should be the root but there are a few really old drupal sites, a few rails sites, some django sites, etc. that want the Document root to be / or some other folder. Is there a way to set up VirtualDocumentRoot based on a conditional or is there a way to use RewriteRule/Cond to detect that / is the incorrect folder if there is a drupal folder or a public folder?   • Creating ODT and PDF files as end result

    Hello, I've been working on an app to create various document formats for a while now, and I've had limited success. Ideally, I'd like to dynamically create a fairly simple ODT/PDF/DOC file. I've been focusing my efforts on ODT, because it is editable, and open enough that there are several tools which will convert it to any of the other formats I need. The problem is that the ODT XML files are NOT simple, and there aren't any good-quality API's I could find (especially in python). So far, I've had the most success creating a template ODT file, and then manipulating the DOM in python as needed. This is ok generally, but is quickly becoming inadequate and requires too much tweaking every single time I need to alter one of the templates. The requirements are: 1) Produce a simple document that will have lists, paragraphs, and the ability to draw simple graphics on the page (boxes, circles, etc...) 2) The ability to specify page size, and the different formats should generally print the exact same output when sent to a printer My questions: 1) Are there any other ways I can produce ODT/PDF/DOC files? 2) Would LaTeX be acceptable? I've never really used it, does anyone have experience converting LaTeX files into other formats? 3) Would it be possible to use HTML? There are a lot of converters online. Technically you can specify dimensions in mm/cm, etc..., but I am worried that the printed output will differ between browsers/converters.... Any other ideas?

  • [grails] setting cookies when render type is "contentType: text/json"

    Is it possible to set cookies on response when the return render type is set as json? I can set cookies on the response object when returning with a standard render type and later on, I'm able to get it back on the subsequent request. However, if I were to set the cookies while rendering the return values as json, I can't seem to get back the cookie on the next request object. What's happening here? These two actions work as expected with 'basicForm' performing a regular form post to the action, 'withRegularSubmit', when the user clicks submit. // first action set the cookie and second action yields the originally set cookie def regularAction = { // using cookie plugin response.setCookie("username-regular", "regularCookieUser123",604800); return render(view: "basicForm"); } // called by form post def withRegularSubmit = { def myCookie = request.getCookie("username-regular"); // returns the value 'regularCookieUser123' return render(view: "resultView"); } When I switch to setting the cookie just before returning from the response with json, I don't get the cookie back with the post.     Hello there. I am attempting to obtain PCI compliance for my site but the Mcafee security scan has thrown a: Potential Sensitive Persistent Cookie Sent Over a Non-Encrypted (SSL) Channel Drupal (default behavior) sets a session cookie when you simply arrive at the site. This is causing the problem. Clearly, the entire site shouldn't be under SSL; plenty of other sites set session cookies like this. What gives?
