How to make Doxygen ignore specific PHP functions, when generating documentation from a purely proce

I am writing a PHP Library and I am trying out Doxygen to generate the API documentation. My library does not use OOP. All code is procedural. I use lot of helper functions which have an _ (underscore) prefix in their names. They are not part of the publicly exposed API. They are just used internally. Even though they are commented just like the API functions, I don't want them included when giving out the documentation for the API. I want Doxygen to ignore these functions. I can think of two solutions for this, but I am not able to implement either one of them. First is, I can set some configuration in Doxygen to make it ignore specific function name patterns. I went through Doxygen help documentation and searched the web. There seems to be options to ignore file and folder name patterns. But I am not able to find an option to specify a function name pattern and make it ignore those functions. Second is, along with all the other content in the comments above functions, I could add some other keyword or something and make Doxygen ignore those functions. I haven't been able to find out how to do that either. How can I make Doxygen ignore specific PHP functions when generating documentation? Update I searched within Stack Overflow and came across this question. It looked similar to my question. I found out about EXCLUDE_SYMBOLS config option in one of the answers. You can use that to exclude function names too. More importantly, wildcards were supported. So I am able to ignore all my functions with _ as the prefix :) This ridiculous! I should've done more research :| Someone please delete this question or add this answer as an answer.

onLoad focus() event within jquerytools overlay effect

Hi, I'm using the overlay jquery from here: http://flowplayer.org/tools/overlay/index.html Within my overlay I have a search box like this: <div class="simple_overlay" id="asearch"> <div id="searchbox"> <form id="amazonsearch" style='float:left;'> <input class="title" id="amazon-terms" style="width:400px;font-size:2em;"> <button class="sexybutton sexysimple sexygreen">Search</button> </form> <div id="amazon-results"></div> </div> </div> What I want to happen is when you load the overlay the search box within the overlay gains focus so you can start typing into it. I thought that this would work: $("a[rel]").overlay({ onLoad: function() { $('#amazon-terms').focus(); } }); But that doesn't seem to do anything. I know the event is firing because this works: $("a[rel]").overlay({ onLoad: function() { alert('popup opened') } }); However, when this alert fires the overlay has not yet appeared on the screen so I wonder if that is part of the problem? Here is an analogy of my problem(a selector which has this selector together with a class selector): Let say that I selects all yellow(classes) div elements in a arbitrary HTML document. And I want each to check if the attribute is yes = 1. The button lies within a div element with className 'box'. I know that there are problem with 'this' on the code snippet. Adding a font for use in ReportLab

I'm trying to add a font to the python ReportLab so that I can use it for a function. The function is using canvas.Canvas to draw a bunch of text in a PDF, nothing complicated, but I need to add a fixed width font for layout issues. When I tried to register a font using what little info I could find, that seemed to work. But when I tried to call .addFont('fontname') from my Canvas object I keep getting "PDFDocument instance has no attribute 'addFont'" Is the function just not implemented? How do I get access to fonts other than the 10 or so default ones that are listed in .getAvailableFonts? Thanks. getting the list of all functions executed like call stack in asp.net

Hi, I am having trouble with debugging one of the problems that I am having in our website. This is the problem. I have a webpage that contains the photo of an employee and information related to the employee. When the user logins to our website, we are storing the details of the employee in session. I am setting the image url for the photo of an employee as follows. imgEEPhoto.ImageUrl = imgPhoto.aspx?Company=XXXX&Empno=YYYY. Inside the page imgPhoto.aspx, I am checking if the session is alive for that user. when I login to the page that has the employee photo sometimes the photo is not displayed. It is because I am checking whether the session is alive inside the imgPhoto.aspx page. sometimes the session is alive and sometimes the session is not alive. It looks like there is some function that is setting the session to null asynchronously. I am not knowing how to track that function. so I am thinking that inside the imgPhoto.aspx page, if I can get the list of all functions that have been executed so far, I could track the function that is resetting the session. Is there a way to find this? If there is no another way to debug this problem, please let me know. Thanks, sridhar.

flex actionscript not uploading file to PHP page HELP!

hello, please help! I am using actionscript 3 with flex sdk 3.5 and PHP to allow a user to upload a file -that is my goal. However, when I check my server directory for the file... NOTHING is there! For some reason SOMETHING is going wrong, even though the actionscript alerts a successful upload (and I have even tried all the event listeners for uploading errors and none are triggered). I have also tested the PHP script and it uploads SUCCESSFULLY when receiving a file from another PHP page (so i'm left to believe there is nothing wrong with my PHP). However, actionscript is NOT giving me any errors when I upload -in fact it gives me a successful event...and I know the my flex application is actually trying to send the data because when I attempt to upload a large file, it takes significantly more time to alert a "successful" event than when I upload a small file. Getting jQuery to return an ajax object

Hello, The question title is a bit strange because I'm not exactly sure how to phrase the problem. The issue is that I have many links to which I want to bind a click event with an ajax call, and I'm just looking to refactor some duplicate code into a single area. The links I'm trying to bind an ajax call only have one thing that differentiates them, and that's an id from a previously declared object. So I have lots of code that looks like this: $("a.link").bind('click', function() { id = obj.id; $.ajax({ url: "/set/" + id, dataType: 'json', type: "POST" }) }); I was trying to refactor it into something like this: $("a.link").bind('click', ajax_link(obj.id)); function ajax_link(id) { $.ajax({ url: "/set/" + id, dataType: 'json', type: "POST" }) }); However, as you can imagine, this just actually makes the ajax call when the element is binded with the click event. Is there an easy way to refactor this code so I can extract out the common ajax code into its own function, and hopefully reduce the number of lines of jQuery in my current script?

scaling svg paths in Raphael 2.1

I'm using SVG paths from a wikimedia commons map of the US. I've singled out Pennsylvania with its counties. I'm feeding the paths out of a database and using Raphael 2.1 to put them on the page. Because in the original map, Pennsylvania was so small and set at an angle, I'd like to scale up the paths and rotate Pa. so that it isn't on an angle. When I try to use Raphael's transform method, all the counties look strange and overlapped. I gave up on setting the viewBox when I heard that it doesn't work in all browsers. Anyone have any ideas? I am trying to scale an image when you mouseenter, which is working. I would like the image to gradually scale up with an ease transition. I used ease-in-out, which it's not working. Any suggestions? Also, I used addClass & removeClass twice in the jquery code. Is there a way to only use it once? Get directory path by fd

I've run into the need to be able refer to a directory by path given its file descriptor in Linux. The path doesn't have to be canonical, it just has to be functional so that I can pass it to other functions. So, taking the same parameters as passed to a function like fstatat(), I need to be able to call a function like getxattr() which doesn't have a f-XYZ-at() variant. So far I've come up with these solutions; though none are particularly elegant. The simplest solution is to avoid the problem by calling openat() and then using a function like fgetxattr(). This works, but not in every situation. So another method is needed to fill the gaps. The next solution involves looking up the information in proc: if (!access("/proc/self/fd",X_OK)) { sprintf(path,"/proc/self/fd/%i/",fd); } This, of course, totally breaks on systems without proc, including some chroot environments. The last option, a more portable but potentially-race-condition-prone solution, looks like this: DIR* save = opendir("."); fchdir(fd); getcwd(path,PATH_MAX); fchdir(dirfd(save)); closedir(save); The obvious problem here is that in a multithreaded app, changing the working directory around could have side effects. However, the fact that it works is compelling: if I can get the path of a directory by calling fchdir() followed by getcwd(), why shouldn't I be able to just get the information directly: fgetcwd() or something. Clearly the kernel is tracking the necessary information. So how do I get to it?

And with or without this change the _show partial is not render and the above error is given. Not really that good with Javascript any help would be great! P.s. When using the CvMat type, the type of data is crucial to keeping your program running. For example, depending on whether your data is type float or unsigned char, you would choose one of these two commands: cvmGet(mat, row, col); cvGetReal2D(mat, row, col); Is there a universal approach to this? If the wrong data type matrix is passed to these calls, they crash at runtime. This is becoming an issue, since a function I have defined is getting passed several different types of matrices. How do you determine the data type of a matrix so you can always access its data? I tried using the "type()" function as such. Is it because the StreamWriter is trying to make a String (ostensibly with some encoding) and it doesn't like &H0 as a value?

Date difference in Javascript (ignoring time of day)

I'm writing an equipment rental application where clients are charged a fee for renting equipment based on the duration (in days) of the rental. So, basically, (daily fee * number of days) = total charge. For instant feedback on the client side, I'm trying to use Javascript to figure out the difference in two calendar dates. I've searched around, but nothing I've found is quite what I'm looking for. Most solutions I've seen are of the form: function dateDiff1(startDate, endDate) { return ((endDate.getTime() - startDate.getTime()) / 1000*60*60*24); } My problem is that equipment can be checked out and returned at any time of day during those two dates with no additional charge. The above code is calculating the number of 24 hour periods between the two dates, when I'm really interested in the number of calendar days. For example, if someone checked out equipment at 6am on July 6th and returned it at 10pm on July 7th, the above code would calculate that more than one 24 hour period had passed, and would return 2. The desired result is 1, since only one calendar date has elapsed (i.e. the 6th to the 7th). The closest solution I've found is this function: function dateDiff2(startDate, endDate) { return endDate.getDate() - startDate.getDate(); } which does exactly what I want, as long as the two dates are within the same month. However, since getDate() only returns the day of month (i.e. 1-31), it doesn't work when the dates span multiple months (e.g. July 31 to August 1 is 1 day, but the above calcuates 1 - 31, or -29). On the backend, in PHP, I'm using gregoriantojd(), which seems to work just fine (see this post for an example). I just can't find an equivalent solution in Javascript. Anyone have any ideas?
