• Why do I get this error when I try to push my SQLite3 to Postgresql (via Taps) on Cedar Stack?

  I've done quite a bit of research on Heroku Dev Center and I am now looking to the community for help. Here is my problem. I can not push my db to Heroku Cedar Stack. I am trying to migrate a sqlite database to postgresql via Taps gem. When I am ready to deploy I run: bundle install --without production heroku run db:push I get the following result: Running db:seed attached to terminal... up, run.17 sh: db:seed: not found heroku run rake db:migrate And when I run the migration: heroku run rake db:migrate I get the following: Running rake db:migrate attached to terminal... up, run.18 rake aborted! My database.yml production environment still points to sqlite adapter even after I have run the following command successfully: heroku config:add BUNDLE_WITHOUT="test development" --app app_name_on_heroku Out of ideas.   I've been researching nosql options available for .NET lately and MongoDB is emerging as a clear winner in terms of availability and support, so tonight I decided to give it a go. For starters, I can get better non-batch insert performance from SQL Server Express. What really struck me, however, was the slow performance of the find_nnnn queries. Why is retrieving data from MongoDB so slow? What am I missing? Edit: This was all on the local machine, no network latency or anything. MongoDB's CPU usage ran at about 75% the entire time the test was running. Edit 2: Also, I ran a trace on the benchmark program and confirmed that 50% of the CPU time spent was waiting for MongoDB to return data, so it's not a performance issue with the C# driver.

• Flash Builder missing fundamental things

  All of a sudden Flash Builder 4 is missing all kinds of fundamental things and is generating incorrect errors. I've had the same issue yesterday, where I fixed it by downloading a new Flex SDK and importing that into FB. I did this again, but this time it fixed nothing. I don't think it's something I did, like removing critical references from the build path. The errors also appeared on projects I was not working on at the time. It occurs for ActionScript, Flex and Flex Library projects alike.   I'm trying to zoom in on a Google MapView on step in the oncreateMethod of my Activity. Sadly the zoomIn function I'm using does not take any arguments. • jquery hover not working properly other than IE6

  Hi All, We developed navigation bar using jQuery 1.4.2. Functionality is to show submneus for different menu items when user hovers on it. It is working perfectly in IE6 but we see some weird problems in other browsers. In Firefox, when the page gets loaded, it works fine but when we hit f5, the submenu wont appear on hover. To get submenu we need to click on any other menu item. In Chrome, its the same to add on, some time even we click on any menu item, and hover submenu wont show up. In Safari, nothing shows up most of the times, but on clicking 5-6 menu items, submenu is shown.When we see loading text in safari it shows the submenu. but on every click the loading text wont appear.. We are very much confused..is it the browser behavior/code/jquery??   I've seen this question and this article on how to debug a native Java crash. The article is with respect to Windows. What are the equivalent debugging aids on Linux? Note: All I have is this crash log from a user in the field. I do not have access to the machine on which the crash occurred. Update: I am pretty sure the crash is due to JNI code we have. I never meant to imply that it was the JVM itself that was faulty. Now, the Java versions on the two machines are slightly different. Both the machines have Sun's java, the Linux machine has 1.6.0_10, while the Windows machine has 1.6.0_08, or maybe 07 or 06, I can't remember the exact number right now, and don't have the machine at hand. But even though the minor versions of the Javas are slightly different, the code shouldn't break like this. Does anyone understand what's wrong here?

  I'm new to NHibernate. My first attempt is to configure and establish connection to Oracle 11.1g using ODP. For this test, I use a test fixture, but I get the following error: Inner exception: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Outer exception: Could not create the driver from NHibernate.Driver.OracleDataClientDriver.   I have an HTML (App) file that reads another HTML (data) file via jQuery.ajax(). It then finds specific tags in the data HTML file and uses text within the tags to display sort-of tool tips.   I'm trying to get a Custom Security Realm in Glassfish working (i tried 3.0.1 final and 3.1 B33). I read nearly all tutorials about this, but it doesn not work on my System. Then i added the Security Realm "customRealm" to my Glassfish with asadmin: asadmin create-auth-realm --classname de.company.security.utility.CustomRealm --property jaas-context=customRealm:startWith=a customRealm I even referenced the LoginModule class for the JAAS context of my Custom Realm, therefore i inserted this into the login.conf of my domain: customRealm { de.company.security.utility.CustomLoginModule required; }; Although this LoginModule SHOULD BE on the Glassfish classpath, as it's classfiled is packaged in the JAR that i put into the Glassfish/lib-dir, it cannot be found when i try to login. For login, i build a really simple JSF-project, which calls the HttpServletRequest-login-method of Servlet 3.0. I do this by having the fiq_flip_pins function defined in the monolithic kernel and not as a module which gets vmalloc. If I don't branch to the fiq_flip_pins function, and instead do the work in the test_fiq_handler function everything works as expected. It's the branching that's causing me problems at the moment.
