    I am facing a peculiar problem where i need to update a particular value in database to say 'Hellò'. When i run normal update statement the values are updated fine. But when i put it i a .sql script file and then run the update statement the last character gets replaced by a junk value. Can some one enlighten me on this and how oracle processes script files?

    My problem is since an enum in objective-c essentially is an int value, I am not able to store it in a NSMutableArray. Apparently NSMutableArray won't take any c-date types like an int.     I am writing my first Spring 3.0.5 MVC app and am confused about why my controller mappings aren't doing what I expect. I have a VerifyPasswordController that is called after a user tries to log in by entering his name and password. // Called upon clicking "submit" from /login @RequestMapping(value = "/verifyPassword", method = RequestMethod.POST) @ModelAttribute("user") public String verifyPassword(User user, BindingResult result) { String email = user.getEmail(); String nextPage = CHOOSE_OPERATION_PAGE; // success case if (result.hasErrors()) { nextPage = LOGIN_PAGE; } else if (!passwordMatches(email, user.getPassword())) { nextPage = LOGIN_FAILURE_PAGE; } else { // success } return nextPage; } I can verify in the debugger that this method is being called, but afterwards, the verifyPassword page is displayed rather than the chooseOperation page.     With a customer web site we currently experiences performance problems. While analyzing the problem we found an unexpected amount of of 112 "Memory Hard Faults" per minute. Does anybody can interpret the meaning of this value? Does this happen, when memory swapping is necessary - so the root cause is not sufficient memory? Even if the CPU value seems high, it is not the main problem for the slow web site. Do you agree?
