  • django file serving issues

    I have in my url patterns, urlpatterns += patterns('', (r'^(?P<path>.*)$', 'django.views.static.serve', {'document_root': '/home/tipu/Dropbox/dev/workspace/search/images'}) In my template when I do <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="{{ MEDIA_URL }}style.css" /> It serves the css just fine. But the file logo.png, that's in the same directory as style.css, doesn't show when I do this: <img src = "{{ MEDIA_URL }}logo.png" id = "logo" /> Any idea why?

    I had a problem highlighting text in a pdf file embedded in webbrowser control and highlighting text using PDFLibNet.pdfwrapper so i'm shifting to another process where i'll just convert the pdf to html so i can manipulate the source code to highlight text.   • Saving MP3 playlist to file

    Hello. I am making my own crude MP3 player, and I now have a JList with which I have populated a number of files in the form of MP3 objects (displayed on frame using DefaultListModel). I would now like to have the oppurtunity to save this JList to a file on disk. How would I go about doing this? I'm very new with programming and Java, so help is greatly appreciated.

    Okay, so I've figured out how to get my external ip using wget: wget -q -O - http://whatismyip.com/automation/n09230945.asp that outputs the ip to the command console. adding currentip.txt to the end will write it to a text file. But what I want to do is use netsh interface ip set address name="Local Area Connection 2" source=static addr=[WHAT DO I PUT HERE] Also, a way to make the command prompt not flash would be nice too :)

    I follow this rule but some of my colleagues disagree with it and argue that if a class is smaller it can be left in the same file with other class(es). Another argument I hear all the time is "Even Microsoft don't do this, so why should we?" What's the general consensus on this? Are there cases where this should be avoided?

    I am trying to use the Sunlight API gem with a Rails project. I have installed the gem and can successfully use it from irb. However, when I put the require statement (require 'sunlight') in sunlight.rb in config/initializers, I get the following error: /opt/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activesupport-3.0.0.beta3/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:209:in `require': no such file to load -- sunlight (LoadError) I checked the permissions on the gems directory, and it is world readable/executable.     hi, I have audio files in var/ This is the file name 2-3109999999-3246758493-1271129518-1271129505.6.wav Format 2=campaign id 3109999999=caller id 3246758493=number called 1271129518=timestamp call ended 1271129505=timestamp call started 6=call id If I were to pass just the number called which was 3246758493, how can I find all the files without defining all the other variables(such as timestamp, etc) and just the files that have that number in the filename?
