• Multiple Facebook Like buttons (different activities) on one page?

  Hello, My one web page uses Ajax to display information about multiple activities. I'd like to have one Like button per activity. This would mean multiple Like buttons on the page, one per activity. Can this be done? Can the Like button's url include #!state1 ? Eg, a web page is located at www.example.com/index.html It has multiple FB Like buttons on it, one for url www.example.com/index.html#!activity1 another for www.example.com/index.html#!activity2 Will the two Like buttons work independently?

• Asp.net Google Charts SSL handler for GeoMap

  Hi All, I am trying to view Google charts in a site using SSL. Google Charts do not support SSL so if we use the standard charts, we get warning messages. My plan is to create a ASHX handler that is co9ntained in the secure site that will retrieve the content from Google and serve this to the page the user is viewing. Using VS 2008 SP1 and the included web server, my idea works perfectly for both Firefox and IE 8 & 9(Preview) and I am able to see my geomap displayed on my page as it should be. But my problem is when I publish to IIS7 the page using my handler to generate the geomap works in Firefox but not IE(every version). There are no errors anywhere or in any log files, but when i right click in IE in the area where the map should be displayed, I see the message in the context menu saying "movie not loaded" Below is the code from my handler and the aspx page. I have disabled compression in my web.config. Even in IE I am hitting all my break points and when I use the IE9 Developer tools, the web page is correctly generated with all the correct code, url's and references. If you have any better ways to accomplish this or how i can fix my problem, I will appreciate it. • Multilingual support using gettext with codeigniter, best practice?

  I know how to create .po files and how to generate .mo files and then use them for translation on my Codeigniter powered site. However, I'm not quite sure on how to change language from the site GUI. I want to stick to codeigniter's default url calling schema: www.domain.com/controllername/method/param1/param2. Calling the server like this is a no-brainer: www.domain.com/controllername?lang=en Doing that for every controller using the default url schema, requires me to implement the same method in every controller, just to pass the lang parameter to the setlocale() function and then bind to my .po domain name. Feels awkward... ANy ideas how you guys work with gettext in codeigniter? And yes, I do want to work with gettext.

NOTE: If I instead use ActionLink to render a different action like "Default," the ActionLink renders correctly: <a href="/Admin/Default">admin</a> The fact that the "Default" action renders correctly leads me to believe the problem has to do with the default value specified for the route. Is there anyway to force ActionLink to render the "Index" action as well?

  I want to display an image from the web to a panel in another Jframe at the click of a button but whenever I click the button first the image loads and during this time the current form potentially freezes and once the image has loaded the form is displayed with the image..   Quick question before I will explain my flow: ?an mod_cache perform revalidate with if-none-match only if max-age is expired in case if it configured in reverse proxy mode? My goal is to reduce a number of revalidation requests to our the origin server. For instance: The first request goes to the origin server and then mod_cache save a response in to the cache according to header cache-control: max-age. And only when max-age is expired then mod_cache will revalidate with if-none-match. Currently, mod_cache revalidate each request, regardless that max-age is defined or not. I can load an HTML file from the web, but when I try it locally, it just displays the contents of the file instead of running the script. • ASP.NET MVC Route Contraints with {ID}-{Slug} Format

  I have a route like following, ideally I would like it to match: domain.com/layout/1-slug-is-the-name-of-the-page routes.MapRoute( "Layout", // Route name "layout/{id}-{slug}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = @"\d+$" } ); But when I hit the url, I am keep on getting this exception: The parameters dictionary contains a null entry for parameter 'id' of non-nullable type 'System.Int32' for method 'System.Web.Mvc.ActionResult Index(Int32)' in .... The above route will match the following though: domain.com/layout/1-slug or domain.com/layout/1-slug_permalink Seems like the hyphen that separates the ID from the Slug is causing issues.

What wrong with my payload? The response is get is: ["Name can't be blank","Workspace can't be blank"] which leads me to conclude that the authentication works but toggl cannot read my json object.

  I'm looking for an easy way to assign a post number to each post in wordpress and display it out of the total number of posts. A little info: There will be about 100 "posts", each on its own page I want users to click through each post, so start at post 1 and click "next post" to get to post 2 I want it to say post 4/100 at the top for each post I want the URL to have the post name in it I was going to use WP-PageNavi and set each page to display 1 post, however I need the url to show /post-name/ and not /page/2/ I know I can count total number of posts pretty easily, any idea how I can assign a number to each post without having to do it manually? I'd like to sort by date added.

  I have a form that adds links to a database, deletes them, and -- soon -- allows the user to edit details. I am using jQuery and Ajax heavily on this project and would like to keep all control in the same page. In the past, to handle editing something like details about another website (link entry), I would have sent the user to another PHP page with form fields populated with PHP from a MySQL database table. How do I accomplish this using a jQuery UI modal form and calling the details individually for that particular entry? • Opening popup links in UIWebView, possible?

  Hey guys, I have a UIWebView which I'm using as an embedded browser within my app. I've noticed that links in webpages that open new windows are ignored without any call into my code. I've tried breakpointing on - (BOOL)webView:(UIWebView *)webView shouldStartLoadWithRequest:(NSURLRequest *)request navigationType:(UIWebViewNavigationType)navigationType and then selecting a link that would open a popup window, and the breakpoint is never hit. Is there anything I can do to intercept that selection of the popup link and get the URL and just load it normally? I'm not interested in displaying a popup window in the app itself, I just want the URL of whatever is going to be loaded in the popup window to load in the main webview itself. Is this possible? Thanks!
