I am using a tab bars, having five tabs, and navigation controller. i am able to change title according to locales,but the navigation controllers rightbarbutton which navigates to previuos view, showing English(united states), when i change local to english.     I have been messing around with a way to justify align a collection of UIView subclasses within a containing view. I am having a little bit of trouble with the algorithm and was hoping someone could help spot my errors. Here is pseudocode of where I am now: // 1 see how many items there are int count = [items count]; // 2 figure out how much white space is left in the containing view float whitespace = [containingView width] - [items totalWidth]; // 3 Figure out the extra left margin to be applied to items[1] through items[count-1] float margin = whitespace/(count-1); // 4 Figure out the size of every subcontainer if it was evenly split float subcontainerWidth = [containingView width]/count; // 5 Apply the margin, starting at the second item for (int i = 1; i < [items count]; i++) { UIView *item = [items objectAtIndex:i]; [item setLeftMargin:(margin + i*subcontainerWidth)]; } The items do not appear to be evenly spaced here.     I'm having difficultly adding querystring parameters to link_to UrlHelper. I have an Index view, for example, that has UI elements for sorting, filtering, and pagination (via will_paginate). The will_paginate plugin manages the intra-page persistence of querystring parameters correctly. Is there an automatic mechanism to add the querystring parameters to a give named route, or do I need to do so manually? A great deal of research on this seemingly simple construct has left me clueless.

  • Display SharePoint lookup field on publishing website

    A page within our MOSS publishing website has a property which is a lookup field. I only want the selected text to be displayed when you view the page not in edit mode, but when I use the Microsoft.SharePoint.WebControls.LookupField it generates a hyperlink to the SharePoint list item (obviously bad). Is there a way around this, short of creating my own lookup field control?

    Hi i am writing a HTML parser for helping with some job duties, I can enter the site using IE explorer. but using csharp code i get an error i have tried using client.Credentials = CredentialCache.DefaultNetworkCredentials; client.Proxy.Credentials = CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials; i don't get the requested page, but an error page. if i can view page in explorer there must be a way to retrieve its html in C# (note that same page in other browsers requires authintication - not in IE) appreciate the help

The next question, is how does the object know which UIViewController to talk to? How does it know which UIViewController has its view as the subview of the window? Is there a message you can send or a property you can set (of some object) that sets the "Active" UIViewController for the app?

    I'm trying to edit an XML schema in Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate RC, but when I go to the toolbox (with the schema open and focused) there's absolutely nothing in the Toolbox view, even when every tutorial out there that I've read tells me that there should be. I've tried using the context menu option for resetting the Toolbox to no effect. Is there something I'm missing ? Something I need to install to get this feature of Visual Studio going ?

    To fill NSScrollview with pattern image I use - (void)setBackgroundColor:(NSColor *)aColor method where aColor is created with + (NSColor *)colorWithPatternImage:(NSImage *)image method. Despite of what isFlipped returns for NSScrollView and its content view, pattern start repeat from bottom-left corner while I want it to start from top-left corner. How can I achieve that?

Now I want to click on an area(Background, Links,etc) in the webbrowser and get the styling in the CSS file that styles the HTML. I'm doing ListCollectionView view = (ListCollectionView)CollectionViewSource.GetDefaultView(TheList.ItemsSource); as recommended there and in several other places, but for some reason I'm getting "Unable to cast object of type 'MS.Internal.Data.EnumerableCollectionView' to type 'System.Windows.Data.ListCollectionView'." (TheList is of type ListView). What could be causing this?

    I have a tree view <asp:TreeView ID="TreeView1" runat="server" DataSourceID="SiteMapDataSource1" ShowExpandCollapse="False"> </asp:TreeView> As you can see, root node is hidden. However when the treenode gets rendered, there is a whitespace to the left of each leafnode. This is probably because the root node is hidden but is taking up space. How do i remove that white space.

I'm guessing the answer has to do with OpenGL, although I have zero experience there.
