    I'm using the IfFileExists function but I think it only include the first line after the jump. How can I do something similar to C like {..../.../....}?!   • Date query with Hibernate on Timestamp Column in PostgreSQL

    A table has timestamp column. A sample value in that could be 2010-03-30 13:42:42. With Hibernate, I am doing a range query Restrictions.between("column-name", fromDate, toDate). The Hibernate mapping for this column is as follows. <property name="orderTimestamp" column="order_timestamp" type="java.util.Date" /> Let's say, I want to find out all the records that have the date 30th March 2010 and 31st March 2010. A range query on this field is done as follows. Date fromDate = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd").parse("2010-03-30"); Date toDate = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd").parse("2008-03-31"); Expression.between("orderTimestamp", fromDate, toDate); This doesn't work. The query is converted to respective timestamps as "2010-03-30 00:00:00" and "2010-03-31 00:00:00". So, all the records for the 31st March 2010 are ignored. A simple solution to this problem could be to have the end date as "2010-03-31 23:59:59." But, I would like to know if there is way to match only the date part of the timestamp column. Also, is Expression.between() inclusive of both limits? Documentation doesn't throw any light on this.

    I need to connect to a MongoDB instance from my EJB3 application, running on glassfish 3.0.1. The Mongo project provides a set of drivers, and I'm able to use them in a standalone Java application. How would I use them in a JEE application? Or maybe better phrasing: how would I make a 3rd party library available to my application when it runs in an EJB container?     I was working on a program in Netbeans on Linux using a gcc compiler when, upon switching to Visual C++ on Windows 7, the code failed to compile as Visual C++ says it expected constant expression on several lines. On Netbeans, I simply did something similar to char name[fullName.size()];, while on Visual C++, I tried, among other things, const int position = fullName.size(); char Name[position]; How can I create a constant to use for the array?

    I'm having problems getting AppendHeader to work properly if I am also using an authorize filter. I'm using an actionfilter for my AJAX actions that applies Expires, Last-Modified, Cache-Control and Pragma (though while testing I have tried including it in the action method itself with no change in results). If I don't have an authorize filter the headers work fine. Once I add the filter the headers I tried to add get stripped. I removed white spaces at indexing time and when the user is searching. Thanks.

    Hello, I created (and used) a Windows Media Encoder object in Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition on MS Server 2003 64 bit. This worked fine. However, when I attempted to create the equivalent Windows Media Encoder object using Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 on MS Server 2003 64 bit, the following exception was thrown: "Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {632B606A-BBC6-11D2-A329-006097C4E476} failed due to the following error: 80040154." It cannot be that the component isn’t registered, because both have a reference to the same WMEncEng.dll file. The Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 code also worked fine on XP 32 bit. Could it be a problem with permissions? Regardless, anyone have any ideas why this problem is occurring and, more importantly, how to resolve it? Thank you.     Hello! I have such situation - I'd like to build timeline control. So I have UserControl and ItemsControl on it (every row represents some person). The ItemsControl contains another ItemsControl as ItemsControl.ItemTemplate - it shows e.g. events for the person arranged by event's date. So it looks as some kind of grid with dates as a column headers and e.g. peoples as row headers. ........................|.2010.01.01.....2010.01.02.....2010.01.03 Adam Smith....|......[some event#1].....[some event#2]...... John Dow.......|...[some event#3].....[some event#4]......... I can have a lot of persons (ItemsControl #1 - 100-200 items) and a lot of events occured by some day (1-10-30 events per person in one day) the problem is that when user scrolls ItemsControl #1/#2 it happened toooo sloooooowwww due to a lot of elements should be rendered in one time (as I have e.g. a bit of text boxes and other elements in description of particular event) Question #1 - how can I improve it? May be somebody knows better way to build such user control? I have to mention that I'm using custom Virtual panel, based on some custom Virtual panel implementation found somewhere in internet... Question #2 - I'd like to make image with help of WriteableBitmap and render data bound control to image and to show image instead of a lot of elements. Problem is that I'm trying to render invisible data bound control (created in code behind) and it has actualWidth/Height equals to zero (so nothing rendered). How can I solve it?     I just installed an IRC bot, B****X (Don't ask, I don't know - the real name is not censored). I did all of the configuration and chmod'ed the pl files to 755, but running it won't work. My host does not allow SSH/Shell (which is how the documentation says to runs he script), but just going to the URL usually works because of this. However, I get a 500 (Internal Server Error) error.     Hi, I need serious help building two Regex statements for a project. The software we're using ONLY accepts Regex for validation. I need one that fires for any date <4/1/2009 and a second that fires for any date <10/1/2009 My co-worker gave me the following code to check for <=10/01/2010, but it checks leap years and all that stuff.     In c# there are attributes such as [obsolete] that create compiler warnings that will be shown in visual studio. Is there an attribute that I can use to mark a method or a class with a comment that should be shown as a warning in visual studio when I compile? Something like: [TBD(Msg="Please change me after 2010 07 20")] public void Foo(){ } or is there a possibility that I can derive from System.Attribute and make my own attribute, configuring visual studio so that it behaves as I described.

I need to one to get all the data. The next to get only the history data (that is, everything but exclude the latest data item by AuditEndDate) and then the last query is to obtain the latest data item (by AuditEndDate). There's an added layer of complexity that I have a date restriction (This is on a per user/group basis) where certain user groups can only see between certain dates.
