  • ASP.NET app never starts

    Hi. After migrating my app to .NET 4 it's not starting. When i'm trying to load it in browser it endlessly loading it and nothing else happening. There is no errors or timeouts, just loading. Please help. What should i do? What reasons there might be? I'm using IIS6 btw.

    So I have a .png file. I am using windows OS. How can I embed my png file/image into (blank by default) file.html so that when you open that file in any browser you see that image, but the file is not anyhow linked to it - it is ebbeded into it? Step by step instructions would be nice.

  • Phonegap (Cordova) iOS button click

    I am trying to create a very simple phone gap application for iOS. I am using query mobile. the problem is, that i can't get javascript event to fire on button click. When have button with # in href, it doesn't event change the color on click. When i add url, it changes color. But it never call javascript function. Another problem is, that document.addEventListener("deviceready", onDeviceReady, false); works only in the index page. If i press button in initial page which redirects to another page, OnDeviceReady function is never called. Anybody has any ideas?

  • Multiple flash video players on w3c-valid page is slow

    I have a web site that displays a column of flash videos. The page is w3c-valid. The problem is that the page loads very slowly and sometimes crashes my web browser. Until the page is fully loaded, the videos are slow to respond and play. Is there a way to make these videos load their preview images only? What should I do to speed the page up? The videos are 360x264.

    I do the following to a loading animation, to place it at the bottom center of the screen. CGPoint bottomCenter = CGPointMake((self.imageView.bounds.size.width / 2), (self.imageView.bounds.size.height * 0.8)); self.activityView.center = bottomCenter; (imageView is the full screen splash image) If the orientation is portrait, it is positioned perfectly, however turning on its side, in landscape or upside down portrait and the animation ends up miles away :S Does anyone know the correct way to position this loading animation, its for the splash screen.

  • why do you write tests and what is a unit test and how does it differ other types of testing ?

    im curious as to know, why tests are written? why would bother writing it ? why not just compile and run the code or view it in your browser, click around and test out stuff. i mean i can understand, a crawler that checks your web app's functions....but why is tests written, maintained and treated as important as the main feature codes ? is it crucial to always write and use tests ?

    when i start tomcat from eclipse v3.3.1.1 it start but then if i try to access a web application from a browser it does not detect that the server is started...i need to stop the server from eclipse and then restart it by running start.bat and then the web app works fine...can any one tell me why is this happening ..?

    I have the following code <Canvas Width="800" Height="600"> ... In the UserControl I animate the ScaleTranform to 1. I want UserControl to "grow" from its center, but it "grows" from the upper left corner of it. The values in CenterX and CenterY do nothing. How can I make it Scale as I want? Thanks in advance.

  • How do you make the scale animation begin at the middle of the object instead of the top left?

    What I am trying to accomplish: 10 percent increase scale transformation of a rectangle via Silverlight storyboard animation. What I currently doing: While in Expression Blend 3, I created a rectangle, created a storyboard, and created the scale transformation. The preview looked correct because the increase in scale begins in the middle of the object. When I run the project the scale transformation begins at the top left. Is there some piece of code missing?     I have a link in my HTML: <a href="/DoSomethingDangerous">do something dangerous</a> Visiting the DoSomethingDangerous link causes a not easily reversable action to occur. So after the link is clicked on I would like a dialog box (eg "Are you sure?" "OK" "Cancel") to be displayed and if the user clicks Cancel the link is not visited and the browser remains at the same page. What is the cleanest technique using either Javascript or jQuery to implement this?

    hi, just wonder how those air ticket booking website redirect the user to the airline booking website and then fill up(i suppose doing POST) the required information so that the users will land on the booking page with origin/destination/date selected?
