  • Obtain all keys of a Neo4j index

    I have a Neo4j database whose content is generated dynamically from a big dataset. All “entry points” nodes are indexed on a named index (IndexManager.forNodes(…)). I can therefore look up a particular “entry point” node. However, I would now like to enumerate all those specific nodes, but I can't know on which key they were indexed. Is there any way to enumerate all keys of a Neo4j Index? If not, what would be the best way to store those keys, a data type that is eminently non-graph-oriented? UPDATE (thanks for asking details :) ): the list would be more than 2 million entries. The main use case would be to never update it after an initialization step, but other use cases might need it, so it has to be somewhat scalable. Also, I would really prefer avoiding killing my current resilience abilities, so storing all keys at once, as opposed to adding them incrementally, would be a last-resort solution.

    Is there any way to return in the fields list whether a value exists as one of the values of a multivalued field? E.g., if your schema is <schema> ... <field name="user_name" type="text" indexed="true" stored="true" required="true" /> <field name="follower" type="integer" indexed="true" stored="true" multiValued="true" /> ... </schema> A sample document might look like: <doc> <field name="user_name">tester blah</field> <field name="follower">1</field> <field name="follower">62</field> <field name="follower">63</field> <field name="follower">64</field> </doc> I would like to be able to query for, say, "tester" and follower:62 and have it match "tester blah" and have some indication of whether 62 is a follower or not in the results.

  • Can't search in a certain field using solR

    Hi, I'm setting up an environment using Nutch 1.0 + solR 1.4. In Nutch I configured the subcollection plugin which seems to work nicely. If I search as normal adding fl=* I can see the subcollection field is filled as intented. (something like <str name="subcollection">mysite.com</str>). My problem is, I would like to be able to search only in one or more given subcollections, but whenever my searchquery is something like q=subcollection:mysite.com it won't work. I've also tried to add a fl=* or searched in mysite* instead but I never get any results. Obviously solR "knows" the subcollection field, as it doesn't result with an error but simply whith an empty result. I'd be glad for any help

    For some reason I've always had trouble remembering the backwards/forwards compatibility guarantees made by the framework, so I'd like to put that to bed forever. Suppose I have two assemblies, A and B. A is older and references .NET 2.0 assemblies; B references .NET 3.5 assemblies. I have the source for A and B, Ax and Bx, respectively; they are written in C# at the 2.0 and 3.0 language levels. (That is, Ax uses no features that were introduced later than C# 2.0; likewise Bx uses no features that were introduced later than 3.0.) I have two environments, C and D. C has the .NET 2.0 framework installed; D has the .NET 3.5 framework installed. Now, which of the following can/can't I do? Running: run A on C? run A on D? run B on C? run C on D? Compiling: compile Ax on C? compile Ax on D? compile Bx on C? compile Bx on D? Rewriting: rewrite Ax to use features from the C# 3 language level, and compile it on D, while having it still work on C? rewrite Bx to use features from the C# 4 language level on another environment E that has .NET 4, while having it still work on D?'     Hello, Is there any way to load an existing index into an instance of MemoryIndex?. I have an application which uses Hibernate Search so I can use index() in FullTextEntityManager instance to index an object. I'd like to recover back the created index and insert it into a MemoryIndex instance to execute several queries over it. Is it possible? Thanks.

    I'm playing with a simple string replacement editor for editing VB.Net functions outside of VB. Is there a way to apply VB.Net code formatting to a string? For example. The txtboxCodeEntry looks like this: If strVar="dummy" then 1 else 0 Endif I would like it to "autoformat" to: If strVar = "dummy" Then 1 Else 0 End If The formatting would match whatever formatting VB.Net does when you're editing code in the Visual Studio IDE.   • why a .net 1.1 code gets compiled in 2.0 and throws an error?

    Hi I have a web projects which is build in VS2003/1.1 framework and deployed in a webserver with IIS setting specified to 1.1 framework.lets say project X I also have another web project which is build with VS2008/2.0. IIS setting - ASP version 2.0 is selected and all pages are assigned to run with 2.0* dlls. Lets say project Y Now the problem seem to be when I hit project x, sometimes it throws errors like "error BC30456: 'Initialize Culture' is not a member of 'ASP.**" During troubleshooting this issue, I browsed through 2.0 Temporary ASP.Net files "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\" and found temp files generated for project X. (HUH?) How/why 1.1 project gets compiled in 2.0 only when it errors out.( or we could put it this way that it errors out every time it gets compiled in 2.0 which it is not supposed to) I'm confused as to why this is happening when project X has nothing to do with .net 2.0.

Are there limitations for asp.net as far as browsers? I have used IE and Firefox does it not work with some of the other browsers (chrome or safari)? Should I say the client is limited to any specific OS (I would expect it to work with a Mac or a Linux box)?

    I'm trying to load an assembly that was installed as part of .Net 3.5 SP1 using Assembly.Load() by referencing its strong name. This works fine on my computer right now, but is it future proof? Will the strong name of core .Net assemblies change when patches are installed or new versions of the .Net framework are released? If so, how can I load an assembly from the GAC without using it's strong name?

Basically all of these are constructed using ActiveX. Unfortunately ActiveX and WPF don't play well together. And ClickOnce Deployment doesn't register Interop COM components. I need to find a good, pure .Net managed code implementation.

    I'm using Solr for a realtime search index. My dataset is about 60M large documents. Instead of sorting by relevance, I need to sort by time. Currently I'm using the sort flag in the query to sort by time. This works fine for specific searches, but when searches return large numbers of results, Solr has to take all of the resulting documents and sort them by time before returning. This is slow, and there has to be a better way. What is the better way?

    Question: Is there a mechanism in the .NET Framework to hide one custom Type from another without using separate projects/assemblies? I'm using C# with ASP.NET in a Website project (Note: Not a Web Application). Obviously there's not a way to enforce this restriction using language-specific OO keywords so I am looking for something else, for example: maybe a permission framework or code access mechanism, maybe something that uses meta data like Attributes. I'm unsure. I don't really care whether the solution actually hides classes from each other or just makes them inaccessible, etc. A runtime or design time answer will suffice. Looking for something easy to implement otherwise it's not worth the effort ... Background: I'm working in an ASP.NET Website project and the team has decided not to use separate project assemblies for different software layers. Therefore I'm looking for a way to have, for example, a DataAccess/ folder of which I disallow its classes to access other Types in the ASP.NET Website project.
