  • How to implement VS 2010-like floating tabs?

    I'm building a tabbed WPF application. I'm planning to put MapPoint control (ActiveX) on one of the tabs. I want to have the option to float this tab just like in VS 2010. The resulting widow must contain the same instance of the MapPoint control (because each instance of the control starts up separate MapPoint instance). Any idea how to implement this?

    I have an external *.js file that contains Javascript. How do I get teh same intellisense and color highlighting as I do in an ASPX page? Here's my options for the js extension (set to 'Script Editor') And here's what it looks like in an ASPX page (How I would like it to look.) BTW, I did a full reset my Settings, setting them to VB and no luck.

    I need to upload a CSV file and get its contents form the client side itself. Then post it to the server where I can retriev the stream and do the string manipulations in the serer action methods. Is there any jquery plugin for this task to upload a csv file and send data as a stream using ajax or jason? I am really new to this area.I am working in VS2010 AND mvc3. Can some one give me a clear solution for this mater?? Any examples?? I did search a lot but did not find any suitable solution yet. Can anyone please help me with this matter. Thanks so much.

    We need to read data from FoxPro 8 with C#. I'm gonna do some operations, and will push some of thoses data to an SQL Server database. We are not sure what's best method to read those data. I saw OLE DB and ODBC; what's best? REQUIRMENTS: The export program will run each night, but my company runs 24h a day. The DBF could sometimes be huge. We DON'T need to modify data. Our system, wich use FoxPro, is quite unstable: I need to find a way that ABSOLUTELY do not corrupt data, and, ideally, do not lock DBF files while reading. Speed is a minor requirement: it must be quick, but requirement #4 is most important.

    Hi folks, I am running into this issue and don't know what to do ? 'abc.exe': Loaded 'D:\Windows\SysWOW64\nvoglv32.dll', Cannot find or open the PDB file earlier I was getting a whole bunch of errors, but the microsoft symbols source set the issue for all of them except this one file : nvoglv32.dll ; does anybody know how I can resolve this issue or get my hands on the file "nvoglv32.pdb" ?     If my project name is ABC and the DLL currently outputs as ABC.DLL, how can I make my DLL be outputted as say CBA.DLL and so that when the .LIB is compiled linked against, it is not looking for ABC.DLL, but CBA.DLL. I tried changing the name under Linker General Output File but when I linked to the .lib in my other application, it was still looking for ABC.DLL and CBA.DLL.

Isn't it enough to construct it once for every instantiation of the set? Why is the functor constructed more in the VS2010 case than in the VS2005 case? (didn't check VS2008) And why is it assigned two times in VS2010 and not in VS2005? Are there any tricks to avoid the copy of functors? But the first part of code return the only first character from TCHAR to LPCSTR.

    I have different tabs on my UserControl. Each tab has some controls and button. I want to change AcceptButton on the basis of group of controls I am in. I can use TextChanged event or Enter event to make a button AcceptButton for Textboxes but I have some Comboboxes too. These combos are auto complete so I can't user Enter event on these, because on Enter these combos should be completed. Following image can explain my problem more. Thanks.

Will it also release the IRecordInfo interface? Or i have to manually get the encapsulated struct and deallocate each member myself and then use CoTaskMemFree to deallocate sturct. There are several possible reasons: The file name or path does not exist The file is being used by another program The workbook you are trying to save has the same name as a... I know the path is correct, I also know that the file is not open anywhere else. The workbook has the same name as the one I'm trying to save over but it should just overwrite.     I'm trying to debug a slightly-modified version of the ADO.NET POCO Entity Generator template using the directions Oleg Sych published a few years back. I modified the DbgJITDebugLaunchSetting key as recommended. I get a dialog indicating that a user-defined breakpoint has been hit. However, rather than being presented with the option to start a new instance of VS 2010 to debug, the original instance of VS 2010 just crashes and auto-restarts. Is it possible to debug T4 templates with VS 2010?

  • VS 2010 Layer Diagram Validation Error is Showing A Dependency That Doesn't Even Exist (AV0001)

    I'm getting the following validation error on my layer diagram Error 65 AV0001 : Invalid Dependency : Weld.Interface.Core(Assembly) -- Weld.Interface(Namespace) Layers: Application Framework Core, Application Framework | Dependencies: Namespace Reference D:\Projects\Windows Projects\Weld\Weld\ModelingProject1\Weld.layerdiagram 0 0 ModelingProject1 Weld.Interface.Core: This assembly and namespace does not have a reference to Weld.Interface and only references .NET Framework classes Weld.Interface: This assembly and namespace does not have a reference to Weld.Interface There is no dependancy between these two layers in the dependency diagram. I am confused why I am getting this error. No dependency in the project or code, and no dependency is even setup in the layer diagram. Somehow the Validation logic in the layer diagram is seeing a non existant dependency and saying it is an error. Any ideas what either I might have missed or what is causing this problem?
