• Ninject Given Path's format is not supported

  The Ninject initialization works fine when i run my application directly from VS2010, but if I deploy the application to our custom "plugin" environment I get this error when I run the app and it tries to initialize Ninject. • Drupal auto change user role in module

  I am trying to write a module that will change a user's permissions once a node form is inserted into the database. I already have a role assigned when a user registers, but i want that role to be changed once they create a 'company' profile in this case which is when they fill out a cck form of 'company_post' type. My code is below... switch ($op) { case 'insert': if ($node->type == 'company_post') { } ? im not sure what to put in the if statement because I don't really know how to reference the users roles or how to change them. ? So my question is what code can I use to change the users current role to a new role? (Both roles are already created in drupal and have seperate permissions)

• Windows Server 2003 Hacked - Files Being Uploaded

  Blank directories are being created on my Windows Server 2003 virtual server with sub directories that are weird (for example: "88ÿ ÿ ÿÿþþ þþ13þ"). It looks like they are uploading bootlegged DVDs and pirated software. All of my bandwidth and file space is being eaten up. Could this be a shared permissions issue? Where should I look to further investigate this? My security permissions for the directory that is being hit are as followed: Administrators - ALL GRANTED IIS_WPG - Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read Internet Guest - DENY SYSTEM - ALL GRANTED Users - Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read My Event Viewer is showing many Logon/Logoff with NO IP?

• Problems with contenttypes when loading a fixture in Django

  I am having trouble loading Django fixtures into my MySQL database because of contenttypes conflicts. First I tried dumping the data from only my app like this: ./manage.py dumpdata escola > fixture.json but I kept getting missing foreign key problems, because my app "escola" uses tables from other applications. I kept adding additional apps until I got to this: ./manage.py dumpdata contenttypes auth escola > fixture.json Now the problem is the following constraint violation when I try to load the data as a test fixture: IntegrityError: (1062, "Duplicate entry 'escola-t23aluno' for key 2") It seems the problem is that Django is trying to dynamically recreate contenttypes with different primary key values that conflict with the primary key values from the fixture. This appears to be the same as bug documented here: http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/7052 The problem is that the recommended workaround is to dump the contenttypes app which I'm already doing!? What gives? If it makes any difference I do have some custom model permissions as documented here: http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/models/options/#permissions

• Help with storing/accessing user access roles C# Winforms

  Hello, firstly I would like to thank you in advance for any assistance provided. I am new to software development and have designed several Client/Server applications over the last 12 months or so, I am currently working on a project that involves a user logging in to gain access to the application and I am looking at the most efficient and "simple" method of storing the users permissions once logged in to the application which can be used throughout restricting access to certain tabs on the main form. I have created a static class called "User" detailed below: static class User { public static int _userID; public static string _moduleName; public static string _userName; public static object[] UserData(object[] _dataRow) { _userID = (int)_dataRow[0]; _userName = (string)_dataRow[1]; _moduleName = (string)_dataRow[2]; return _moduleName; } } When the user logs in and they have been authenticated, I wish to store the _moduleName objects in memory so I can control which tabs on the main form tab control they can access, for example; if the user has been assigned the following roles in the database: "Sales Ledger", "Purchase Ledger" they can only see the relevant tabs on the form, by way of using a Switch - Case block once the login form is hidden and the main form is instantiated. • Using a filename with spaces with scp and chmod in bash.

  Periodically, I like to put files in the /tmp directory of my webserver to share out. What is annoying is that I must set the permissions whenever I scp the files. Following the advice from another question I've written a script which copies the file over, sets the permissions and then prints the URL: #!/bin/bash scp "$1" SERVER:"/var/www/tmp/$1" ssh SERVER chmod 644 "/var/www/tmp/$1" echo "URL is: http://SERVER/tmp/$1" When I replace SERVER with my actual host, everything works as expected...until I execute the script with an argument including spaces. Although I suspect the solution might be to use $@ I've not yet figured out how to get a spaced filename to work.

• Reporting Services SQL Server 2005 File Share Error

  Hi, I have a problem with Reporting Services, on an XP box, trying to save subscription reports onto a Windows 7 box over the network. No matter the permissions or accounts used by reporting services it always comes back with "A logon error occurred when attempting to access the file share. The user account or password is not valid." Since this is saving reports over the network and both admin accounts and open network/file permissions to everyone were both tried so I'm left wondering if this is an issue with Reporting Services 2005 has troubles with Windows 7 over the network. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

• NOOB Memory Problem - EXC_BAD_ACCESS

  I have been banging my head against the wall for a couple days and need some help. I have a feeling that I am doing something really silly here, but I cannot find the issue. This is the controller for a table view. I put the SQL in line to simplify it as part of the troubleshooting of this error. Normally, it would be in an accessor method in a model class. It gets through the SQL read just fine. Finds the two objects, loads them into the todaysWorkout array and then builds the cells for the table view. The table view actually comes up on the scree and then it throws the EXC_BAD_ACCESS. • Edit Contact code worked in 1.6 but doesn't work on Droid 2.1?

  Hi All, I had some fairly simple code in my app to invoke Edit Contact activity on a known good contact index that worked in Android 1.6 but is broken for me now in Android 2.1 on the Droid. • Report Builder Error (Input string was not in a correct format) when filtering data

  Issue: the user is getting an error “The requested list could not be retrieved because the query is not valid or a connection could not be made to the data source.” while trying to filter a reporting using Report Builder 2.0. When you expand the details the message is “Input string was not in a correct format” I verified that when the user clicks to see the filter values the query is being sent to the underlying database (by using profiler). When I build the same report [I'm a server admin] I have no issues and see all the filtered values, which leads me to believe this is a permissions issue. I edited permission levels for the site and created a permission that has these privileges: List Permissions: Add Items, View Items. Site Permissions: View Pages, Open. And then assign this permission to the group along with View Only. However this would still show Lists and the users are able to access them. How can I hide it from this specific group only?.

At the very least it needs to extend-able to allow for control level permissions. The solution should have an administration panel of some sort. It also needs to support roles, groups, and individual permissions. We haven't seen anything like this in the marketplace -- we are in the process of rolling our own solution. We'd rather use an off the shelf solution.

• Get python tarfile to skip files without read permission

  I'm trying to write a function that backs up a directory with files of different permission to an archive on Windows XP. I'm using the tarfile module to tar the directory. Currently as soon as the program encounters a file that does not have read permissions, it stops giving the error: IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: 'path to file'. I would like it to instead just skip over the files it cannot read rather than end the tar operation. • IIS 7.0 - Every site suddenly redirecting root request to forms authentication

  Suddenly, IIS 7.0 is redirecting every request for the root of any domain hosted on the box to ~/Account/Logon, which is our Forms Authentication redirect. Additionally, some JavaScript and image requests are being similarly redirected, but not other aspx pages. This is not desirable. Nobody will admit to changing anything. Any ideas? EDIT: It turns out that something has gone wrong with the disk permissions. Can anyone point me to the way things are supposed to be in Windows Server 2008 for a standard ASP.Net installation? The disk permissions are out of whack now.

• SVN Path Based Authorization: Granting listing access but not read access

  Hello, We're using path-based-authorization module for Apache SVN. It all works fine, except that when users try to check out code they have access to, their SVN clients get confused if they don't have at least read access to the parent directories - all the way up to root. It works, but some clients just get confused sometimes. Because SVN path-based-authorization is recursively applied, we don't want to give all users read access to root, because that would give them access to all source code in the repository. It would, however, be acceptable if users could get directory listings (just not actual lines of code) for the entire repository. This would prevent the svn clients from getting confused. Does any one know how to grant permissions to get directory listings without granting permissions to the actual contents of the files? Thanks!

The way I want it to work is: The installer is run in Administrative mode. A Registry key is created. A function (the one I need) queries the ACL from the key. If this function finds that the group 'Users' already has write access, nothing should be done. If not, it should add a new permission allowing write access to the 'Users' group. The permissions are saved for the Registry key. This question is similar to Setting Registry key write permissions using .NET, however, I need a C++/Win32 implementation. Thanks in advance

• P2 Touchpoint chmod not working?

  I'm using Eclipse 3.5.2 and I've created a p2.inf with the following information: instructions.install = \ chmod(targetDir:@artifact,targetFile:$os$/libfoo.so,permissions:755); instructions.install.import= \ org.eclipse.equinox.p2.touchpoint.natives.chmod I placed the p2.inf inside the META-INF folder of the fragment, but when I install the update site, libfoo.so does not have execute permissions. After pulling my hair out, I tried a p2.inf referencing a non-existing *.so, but nothing seems to happen. No error messages, exceptions, or warnings of any kind to indicate the P2 touchpoint action failed... What's the deal? Any ideas?

  Executing Oracle RAC cluster management commands such as $ORA_CRS_HOME/bin/crs_start requires root permissions. Using Solaris RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), one can give a non-root user permissions to execute those commands, but the commands still fail internally. Example: $pfexec /opt/11.1.0/crs/bin/crs_stop SomeArg CRS-0259: Owner of the resource does not belong to the group. Is there a complete RBAC solution for Oracle RAC or does the executor need to be root? • Install APK on ICS through Eclipse

  I rooted my Incredible and flashed an ICS rom, and I can't seem to install an app through Eclipse for testing (or by manually pushing it through adb). I know I have to change the permissions of /data/local to write and execute others in order to allow APKs to be installed, but when I adb shell into my phone and call chmod o=wx /data/local I get a message saying Bad mode. What does this mean and how do I fix it? Thanks! EDIT: According to this question I need to change the permissions of /data/local in order for this to work; I'm receiving the same errors as the OP of that question.

The hope was to create a stored procedure where the permissions of the admin would let the web user run ALTER TABLE [db1].[table] AUTO_INCREMENT = [num]; without giving it permissions (That just smells of SQL injection). My problem is I'm receiving errors when creating the store procedure. Is this something that is not allowed by MySQL? • PHP: Facebook stream.publish and outdated template bundles?

Since template bundles are apparently now defunct, how can I publish a story into my users news feed for their friends? I've also already requested permissions.   In the Facebook javascript api there is a login function in which you specify extended permissions: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/javascript/FB.login One of these permissions is offline access. So I can save the facebook user's session key and assume it will not expire for a long time. The question I have is simple - how do I use the session key? I understand that the session key will last longer, but I don't understand how to use it in the Facebook API. For one of my products, a user must restart his/her browser and I would like to recognize them when they restart. The problem is that they are logged out of facebook, so they must login on my site again where I would rather just use offline access. Sample code would be great! Thanks

In our organization we have a need to assign other fine grained permissions like editor, reader , author to the shared mailboxes. We are using a third party tool to achieve this. I am pretty happy with the tool except for that fact that it is a GUI only tool. I am trying to automate the entire process of shared mailbox creation by using a combination of embedded powershell in C# program. All other steps are easy to automate but because this tool is GUI only, I am really struck. Is there an API method available to to achieve this? I guess EWS API can provide some answer but I really do not know where to start.
