  • GUI wxHaskell database table in grid

    Hello, I'm writing GUI app in haskell. I use sqlite to gather data and want to use grid in wxHASKELL TO present data in app. Everything is all right but I want to have possibility to add rows from haskell app. I achieved that but when I refresh it It expands and covers other controls. To make things short how can I set maximum size of control, and if there are more rows in that grid then make scroll appear ? thanks for any help, bye

  • can't see the result after i update a row in a table in a gridview

    Peace! i created a gridview and ive bended the data using a ObjectDataSource, for some reasons i created the CRUD methods to do the work instead of using the CRUD method generated by the LINQDataSource; everything is just working fine but the update method, when i update a row in my gridview everything become as if there isnt any update! but when i check the database i can see that the rows is been updated! i can't find a solution (yet) to this issue. i'am using the updatepanel to have the autopostback without refreshing the page. thank you

    I’ve been trying to understand some strange values in the RESOURCE_ASSOCIATED_ENTITY_ID column of SYS.DM_TRAN_LOCKS when RESOURCE_TYPE is “OBJECT”. Although these should be object Ids, I cannot determine what object they actually refer to. I’ve tried everything I can think of, including querying all system tables with columns of type INT and BIGINT to see if I can find the value. No luck. The funny values actually appear in SYS.DM_TRAN_LOCKS, SYS.SYSLOCKINFO and SP_LOCK.

    Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to group items like the grouped mail boxes in the mail app. I need it to be like selecting a mail box, when you tap it it loads new data, your inbox outbox and all of the other boxes for that mail account. Then you can tap back and return to all of your accounts. If anyone has a little sample code they could show or explain how one might go about doing this any help is appreciated. In the view, i'm trying to take all the members from a classroom like that: def inside_classroom(request,classname): try: theclass = Classroom.objects.get(classname = classname) members = Members.objects.all() etc but it doesn't work,(though the db_table is named Classroom_Members) i guess i have to use another query for getting all the members from the classroom classname. also, i want to verify if the request.user is a member using (if request.user in members) how can i het those members?     I am trying to send an email to multiple email addresses which are contained in a database and sorted into a recordset... The recordset has multiple columns, but I only need one: "Email". I know that if I have them in an array I can implode them and separate them by commas, but I'm not sure how I could do that with a recordset column. Anyone know how? BTW I know I have the mail function commented out... The echo is returning null... Here my problem is am not sure if i can do things like total=total-1 in the templates to get the numbered rows like <td>{{total}}</td> 2.applying css to tr:ever or odd. Whats happening in this case is everytime the loop is running the odd/even ordering is lost. these seems related problems. Any ideas would be great :)

    Hello, I need to create a rake task to do some active record operations via a ssh tunnel. The rake task is run on a remote windows machine so I would like to keep things in ruby. I have had success when running first a rake task to create the tunnel and then running the rake sync in a different terminal. I want to combine these however so that if there is an error with the tunnel it will not attempt the sync. This is my first time using ruby Threads and Net::SSH forwarding so I am not sure what is the issue here. Any Ideas!? Thanks
