  • Cloudfront - How to invalidate objects in a distribution that was transformed from secured to public?

    - by Gil
The setting I have an Amazon Cloudfront distribution that was originally set as secured. Objects in this distribution required a URL signing. For example, a valid URL used to be of the following format: https://d1stsppuecoabc.cloudfront.net/images/TheImage.jpg?Expires=1413119282&Signature=NLLRTVVmzyTEzhm-ugpRymi~nM2v97vxoZV5K9sCd4d7~PhgWINoTUVBElkWehIWqLMIAq0S2HWU9ak5XIwNN9B57mwWlsuOleB~XBN1A-5kzwLr7pSM5UzGn4zn6GRiH-qb2zEoE2Fz9MnD9Zc5nMoh2XXwawMvWG7EYInK1m~X9LXfDvNaOO5iY7xY4HyIS-Q~xYHWUnt0TgcHJ8cE9xrSiwP1qX3B8lEUtMkvVbyLw__&Key-Pair-Id=APKAI7F5R77FFNFWGABC The distribution points to an S3 bucket that also used to be secured (it only allowed access through the cloudfront). What happened At some point, the URL singing expired and would return a 403. Since we no longer need to keep the same security level, I recently changed the setting of the cloudfront distribution and of the S3 bucket it is pointing to, both to be public. I then tried to invalidate objects in this distribution. Invalidation did not throw any errors, however the invalidation did not seem to succeed. Requests to the same cloudfront URL (with or without the query string) still return 403. The response header looks like: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden Server: CloudFront Date: Mon, 18 Aug 2014 15:16:08 GMT Content-Type: text/xml Content-Length: 110 Connection: keep-alive X-Cache: Error from cloudfront Via: 1.1 3abf650c7bf73e47515000bddf3f04a0.cloudfront.net (CloudFront) X-Amz-Cf-Id: j1CszSXz0DO-IxFvHWyqkDSdO462LwkfLY0muRDrULU7zT_W4HuZ2B== Things I tried I tried to set another cloudfront distribution that points to the same S3 as origin server. Requests to the same object in the new distribution were successful. The question Did anyone encounter the same situation where a cloudfront URL that returns 403 cannot be invalidated? Is there any reason why wouldn't the object get invalidated? Thanks for your help!

  • One-To-Many Powershell Scripts

    - by Matt
I'm trying to create a script to run as a scheduled task, which will run against multiple servers and retrieve some information. To start with, I populate the list of servers by querying AD for all servers that match a certain set of criteria, using Get-ADComputer. The problem is, the list is returned as an object, which I can't then pass to the New-PSSession list. I have tried converting it to a comma-seperated string by doing the following: foreach ($server in $serverlist) {$newlist += $server.Name + ","} but this still doesn't work. the alternative is to iterate through the list and run the various commands against each server one at a time, but my preference would be to avoid this and run them using one-to-many remoting. UPDATE: To clarify what I want to end up being able to do is using -ComputerName $serverlist, so I want $serverlist to be a string rather than an object. UPDATE 2: Thanks for all the suggestions. Between them and my original method I'm starting to wonder whether -ComputerName can accept a string variable? I've got varying degrees of success getting the list of computers converted to a comma separated string, but no matter how I do it I always get invalid network address.

  • Are there any Graphical PowerShell tools?

    - by Dai
As a developer for the .NET platform, I like to "explore" a platform, framework or API by browsing through the API documentation which explains what everything is - everything is covered and when I use tools like Reflector or Object Browser then I get to know for certain what I'm working with. When I'm writing my own software I can use tools like the Object Test Bench to explore and work with my classes directly. I'm looking for something similar, but for PowerShell - and ones that avoid text-mode. PowerShell is nice, and there are a lot of cool "discoverability"-things it has, such as the "Verb-Noun" syntax, however when I'm working with Exchange Server, for example, I wanted to get a list of AD Permissions on a Receive Connector and I got this list: [PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-ADPermission "Client SVR6" -User "NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users" | fl User : NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users Identity : SVR6\Client SVR6 Deny : False AccessRights : {ExtendedRight} IsInherited : False Properties : ChildObjectTypes : InheritedObjectType : InheritanceType : All User : NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users Identity : SVR6\Client SVR6 Deny : False AccessRights : {ExtendedRight} IsInherited : False Properties : ChildObjectTypes : InheritedObjectType : InheritanceType : All User : NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users Identity : SVR6\Client SVR6 Deny : False AccessRights : {ExtendedRight} IsInherited : False Properties : ChildObjectTypes : InheritedObjectType : InheritanceType : All User : NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users Identity : SVR6\Client SVR6 Deny : False AccessRights : {ExtendedRight} IsInherited : False Properties : ChildObjectTypes : InheritedObjectType : InheritanceType : All User : NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users Identity : SVR6\Client SVR6 Deny : False AccessRights : {ExtendedRight} IsInherited : False Properties : ChildObjectTypes : InheritedObjectType : InheritanceType : All User : NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users Identity : SVR6\Client SVR6 Deny : True AccessRights : {ReadProperty} IsInherited : True Properties : {ms-Exch-Availability-User-Password} ChildObjectTypes : InheritedObjectType : ms-Exch-Availability-Address-Space InheritanceType : Descendents [PS] C:\Windows\system32> Note how the first few entries contain identical text - there's no way to tell them apart easily. But if there was a GUI presumably it would let me drill-down into the differences better. Are there any tools that do this?

  • How to move your Windows User Profile to another drive in Windows 8

    - by Mark
I like to have my user folder on a different drive (D:) than my OS is (C:). Reading the following post I decided to give it a try. All went quite well, untill I found out that my Windows 8 Apps won't execute anymore (other than that I didn't noticed any problems). My apps do work, while using an account that isn't moved. In the eventviewer I've found error messages like these: App <Microsoft.MicrosoftSkyDrive> crashed with an unhandled Javascript exception. App details are as follows: Display Name:<SkyDrive>, AppUserModelId: <microsoft.microsoftskydrive_8wekyb3d8bbwe!Microsoft.MicrosoftSkyDrive> Package Identity:<microsoft.microsoftskydrive_16.4.4204.712_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe> PID:<4452>. The details of the JavaScript exception are as follows Exception Name:<WinRT error>, Description:<Loading the state store failed. > , HTML Document Path:</modernskydrive/product/skydrive/App.html>, Source File Name:<ms-appx://microsoft.microsoftskydrive/jx/jx.js>, Source Line Number:<1>, Source Column Number:<27246>, and Stack Trace: ms-appx://microsoft.microsoftskydrive/jx/jx.js:1:27246 localSettings() ms-appx://microsoft.microsoftskydrive/jx/jx.js:1:51544 _initSettings() ms-appx://microsoft.microsoftskydrive/jx/jx.js:1:54710 getApplicationStatus(boolean) ms-appx://microsoft.microsoftskydrive/jx/jx.js:1:48180 init(object) ms-appx://microsoft.microsoftskydrive/jx/jx.js:1:45583 Application(number, boolean) ms-appx://microsoft.microsoftskydrive/modernskydrive/product/skydrive/App.html:216:13 Anonymous function(object) Using ProcMon, I see a lot of access denied messages, like these: Date & Time: 12-9-2012 9:32:20 Event Class: File System Operation: CreateFile Result: ACCESS DENIED Path: D:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Packages\microsoft.microsoftskydrive_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Settings\settings.dat TID: 2520 Duration: 0.0000149 Desired Access: Read Data/List Directory, Write Data/Add File, Read Control Disposition: OpenIf Options: Sequential Access, Synchronous IO Non-Alert, No Compression Attributes: N ShareMode: None AllocationSize: 0 Any idea how to solve this? I noticed that the app folders e.g.: D:\Users\john\AppData\Local\Packages\microsoft.microsoftskydrive_8wekyb3d8bbwe had a different owner than the old profile folder had. Old profile folder had john as owner where my new profile folder had the Administrators group as owner. Changing this didn't help unfortunately.

  • Windows ACL inheritance issues for FTP server and automated tools

    - by Martin Sall
I have set up Cerberus FTP server. By default, Cerberus FTP service runs under SYSTEM ACCOUNT. Also I have some console applications which run as scheduled tasks. They are running under a dedicated "Utilities" user account which has "Log on as batch job" permissions. These console applications take uploaded FTP files, process them and then move them to some dedicated archive folder. The problem is that my console apps are throwing Security exceptions when trying to acces the uploaded files. I tried to give the Full control permissions on the ftproot folder for my "Utilities" account and I have checked that "Replace all Child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object" checkbox, but it affects only current files. When new files are uploaded, they again are not accessible by my "Utilities" account. I tried to go another way and put Cerberus FTP service under "Utilities" account. Then I also needed to give "Utilities" account permissions on Cerberus Data folder in ProgramData. Still no luck - after this operation, Cerberus internal SOAP web service stopped working (although everything else seems to work). I need that SOAP service to be available, so running the Cerberus FTP under "Utilities" account seems to be not an option. Unless I find out, what else do I need to set up for that "Utilities" account to stop Cerberus from complaining. I guess, Cerberus is uploading files to some temporary folder and so those files get the permissions form that folder and keep the same permissions even after moved to the ftproot. What would be the right solution for this which would grant Cerberus FTP server and the "Utilities" account minimal needed permissions to access the contents of the ftproot folder?

I'm trying to install wordpress on my nginx server by following this tutorial: http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-setup-your-own-nginx-powered-wordpress-server/ However, the last command at step 7 gave me a strange error: service nginx reload A copy-paste from my terminal: root@server:~# service nginx reload Reloading nginx configuration: nginx: [emerg] unexpected "o" in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/wordpress:7 nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed When I nano into sites-enabled/wordpress, on the 7th line I can't find anything strange: <!DOCTYPE html> <html class=" "> <head prefix="og: http://ogp.me/ns# fb: http://ogp.me/ns/fb# object: http://ogp.me/ns/object# article: http://ogp.me/ns/article# profile: http://ogp.me/ns/profile#"> <meta charset='utf-8'> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge"> Also, I don't see any obvious errors in my nginx.conf file, but maybe I'm not checking something? • Does Active Directory on Server 2003 R2 support IPv6 subnets in Sites and Services?

    - by NorbyTheGeek
I've been experimenting with IPv6 at our organization. The domain controllers (all 2003 R2) and most of the servers (2003 R2 / 2008 / 2008 R2) have IPv6 configured. We have a subnet assigned through a tunnel provider. Currently, the only workstation that is running IPv6 is mine. (Windows 7) I have been noticing that my workstation is picking domain controllers in other sites for things like DFS, and I finally realized that I don't have the IPv6 subnets set up in Active Directory Sites and Services (ADSS). But when I try to add a IPv6 prefix in ADSS, it tells me: Windows cannot create the object 2001:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx::/64 because: The object name has bad syntax. I believe I may be using the 2008 version of the admin tools (ADSS reports version 6.1.7601.17514) so I'm wondering if maybe my 2003 R2 Active Directory schema doesn't support configuring IPv6 subnets in ADSS. Is this true? UPDATE Even with 2008 R2 schema in Active Directory, I'm having the same problem. How can I get my IPv6 subnets into Sites and Services?

  • How can I insert auto-numbered sentences in LibreOffice Writer?

    - by Felix Dombek
I want to achieve a formatting like this: Some text which references (1), for example because (1) might be an example sentence for some grammatical structure which is explained here. This is auto-numbered text object 1.                                                                                      (1) The number on the right is assigned automatically. If another auto-numbered object is inserted before this, it will change to (2), as will all references in the surrounding text. Some more surrounding text. How can I insert such numbered sentences and references to them in LibreOffice 3.5.1?

  • What are the typical methods used to scale up/out email storage servers?

    - by nareshov
Hi, What I've tried: I have two email storage architectures. Old and new. Old: courier-imapds on several (18+) 1TB-storage servers. If one of them show signs of running out of disk space, we migrate a few email accounts to another server. the servers don't have replicas. no backups either. New: dovecot2 on a single huge server with 16TB (SATA) storage and a few SSDs we store fresh mails on the SSDs and run a doveadm purge to move mails older than a day to the SATA disks there is an identical server which has a max-15min-old rsync backup from the primary server higher-ups/management wanted to pack in as much storage as possible per server in order to minimise the cost of SSDs per server the rsync'ing is done because GlusterFS wasn't replicating well under that high small/random-IO. scaling out was expected to be done with provisioning another pair of such huge servers on facing disk-crunch issues like in the old architecture, manual moving of email accounts would be done. Concerns/doubts: I'm not convinced with the synchronously-replicated filesystem idea works well for heavy random/small-IO. GlusterFS isn't working for us yet, I'm not sure if there's another filesystem out there for this use case. The idea was to keep identical pairs and use DNS round-robin for email delivery and IMAP/POP3 access. And if one the servers went down for whatever reasons (planned/unplanned), we'd move the IP to the other server in the pair. In filesystems like Lustre, I get the advantage of a single namespace whereby I do not have to worry about manually migrating accounts around and updating MAILHOME paths and other metadata/data. Questions: What are the typical methods used to scale up/out with the traditional software (courier-imapd / dovecot)? Do traditional software that store on a locally mounted filesystem pose a roadblock to scale out with minimal "problems"? Does one have to re-write (parts of) these to work with an object-storage of some sort - such as OpenStack object storage?

  • DBCC CHECKDB fails and quits job, ambiguous error message.

    - by ddono25
I received a notice that one of our servers' DBCC CHECKDB for all databases has been failing the past four times it has been run. We don't have any data prior to that, but it doesn't look like it has been succeeding for awhile. There are no errors in the log file only: DBCC results for 'sys.sysxmlfacet'. [SQLSTATE 01000] Msg 0, Sev 0, State 1: Unspecified error occurred on SQL Server. Connection may have been terminated by the server. [SQLSTATE HY000] There are 112 rows in 1 pages for object "sys.sysxmlfacet". [SQLSTATE 01000] I ran a DBCC CHECKDB using sp_MSForEachDB to get more accurate results and had the same error on the same DB but at a separate point: DBCC results for 'NameValuePair_Greek_CI_AS'. [SQLSTATE 01000] Msg 0, Sev 0, State 1: Unspecified error occurred on SQL Server. Connection may have been terminated by the server. [SQLSTATE HY000] There are 0 rows in 0 pages for object "NameValuePair_Greek_CI_AS". [SQLSTATE 01000] Also, the error-log states that the DBCC completed without errors for this database. I can't figure out how to track down this ambiguous issue that only happens on this database out of the dozens on this server. Any help is appreciated!

  • How to choose the right PHP Framework for web development?

    - by liliwang
Hi! I'm a PHP Pro, but haven't use any PHP framework till now, so I have no clue on how to choose a PHP framework. Do you have some tips to help me choose the/a right PHP Framework? I want a stable and secure PHP framework for Projects with about 400 hours development time. It should be possible to use the framework on Shared-Hosting-Webservers. I don't need some AJAX support (I'm using extJS). It would be nice if the framework supports Rapid Application Development and object-relational mapping. Also some of the standard-functions (Authentification, form validation) would be nice. Caching would be a useful, but isn't needed. Needs for a PHP framework: Shared-Hosting-Webserver-Support for Projects between 200 und 400 hours work Developing Modell "Rapid Application Development" supported object-relational mapping supported If possible: Caching Already finished Modules (e.g. Authentification, form validation, ..) • What are the side effects of disabling an Exchange mailbox?

    - by Nic
When working with Exchange Server 2007 or newer, disabling a mailbox is a fairly common operation. However, the Technet documentation has no details about the side effects of disabling a mailbox. This is all it says. "This task removes all the Exchange attributes from the user object in Active Directory. Based on the deleted items retention policy, the Exchange store will retain mailbox data for the user object." Source: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123730(v=exchg.141).aspx But is that all? Exchange mailboxes in the real world tend to be highly interconnected. Perhaps the boss has delegated calendar control to a secretary. Maybe a team of staff members all share access to a public folder. Perhaps a power user has been granted the ability to receive email at several different addresses. Two clear questions come to mind. What happens to links between mailboxes after a mailbox is disconnected? Can the Disable-Mailbox operation be easily undone?

  • How and where to implement basic authentication in Kibana 3

    - by Jabb
I have put my elasticsearch server behind a Apache reverse proxy that provides basic authentication. Authenticating to Apache directly from the browser works fine. However, when I use Kibana 3 to access the server, I receive authentication errors. Obviously because no auth headers are sent along with Kibana's Ajax calls. I added the below to elastic-angular-client.js in the Kibana vendor directory to implement authentication quick and dirty. But for some reason it does not work. $http.defaults.headers.common.Authorization = 'Basic ' + Base64Encode('user:Password'); What is the best approach and place to implement basic authentication in Kibana? /*! elastic.js - v1.1.1 - 2013-05-24 * https://github.com/fullscale/elastic.js * Copyright (c) 2013 FullScale Labs, LLC; Licensed MIT */ /*jshint browser:true */ /*global angular:true */ 'use strict'; /* Angular.js service wrapping the elastic.js API. However, the server returns a weird response. It seems that the authorization header is not working. Could it have to do with the fact, that I am running Kibana on port 81 and elasticsearch on 8181? There are quite a few posts available regarding that topic but it appears that in order to solve my problem, it would be necessary to to make some very granular configurations on apache and also make sure that the right stuff is sent from the browser. So I reconsidered the strategy and found a much simpler solution. Just modify the vhost reverse proxy config to move the elastisearch server AND kibana on the same http port. This also adds even better security to Kibana. This is what I did: <VirtualHost *:8181> ProxyRequests Off ProxyPass /bigdatadesk/ http://127.0.0.1:81/bigdatadesk/src/ ProxyPassReverse /bigdatadesk/ http://127.0.0.1:81/bigdatadesk/src/ ProxyPass / http://127.0.0.1:9200/ ProxyPassReverse / https://127.0.0.1:9200/ <Location /> Order deny, allow Allow from all AuthType Basic AuthName “Username/Password” AuthUserFile /var/www/.htpasswd Require valid-user </Location> ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/error.log </VirtualHost>

And though it shows textbox control of EditItemTemplate, it appears as a blank textbox (does not bind existing value to edit).

  • ASP.NET Creating a Rich Repeater, DataBind wiping out custom added controls...

    - by tonyellard
So...I had this clever idea that I'd create my own Repeater control that implements paging and sorting by inheriting from Repeater and extending it's capabilities. I found some information and bits and pieces on how to go about this and everything seemed ok... I created a WebControlLibrary to house my custom controls. Along with the enriched repeater, I created a composite control that would act as the "pager bar", having forward, back and page selection. My pager bar works 100% on it's own, properly firing a paged changed event when the user interacts with it. The rich repeater databinds without issue, but when the databind fires (when I call base.databind()), the control collection is cleared out and my pager bars are removed. This screws up the viewstate for the pager bars making them unable to fire their events properly or maintain their state. I've tried adding the controls back to the collection after base.databind() fires, but that doesn't solve the issue. I start to get very strange results including problems with altering the hierarchy of the control tree (resolved by adding [ViewStateModeById]). Before I go back to the drawing board and create a second composite control which contains a repeater and the pager bars (so that the repeater isn't responsible for the pager bars viewstate) are there any thoughts about how to resolve the issue? In the interest of share and share alike, the code for the repeater itself is below, the pagerbars aren't as significant as the issue is really the maintaining of state for any additional child controls. (forgive the roughness of some of the code...it's still a work in progress) using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.ComponentModel; using System.Text; using System.Data; using System.Web; using System.Web.UI; using System.Web.UI.WebControls; [ViewStateModeById] public class SortablePagedRepeater : Repeater, INamingContainer { private SuperRepeaterPagerBar topBar = new SuperRepeaterPagerBar(); private SuperRepeaterPagerBar btmBar = new SuperRepeaterPagerBar(); protected override void OnInit(EventArgs e) { Page.RegisterRequiresControlState(this); InitializeControls(); base.OnInit(e); EnsureChildControls(); } protected void InitializeControls() { topBar.ID = this.ID + "__topPagerBar"; topBar.NumberOfPages = this._currentProperties.numOfPages; topBar.CurrentPage = this.CurrentPageNumber; topBar.PageChanged += new SuperRepeaterPagerBar.PageChangedEventHandler(PageChanged); btmBar.ID = this.ID + "__btmPagerBar"; btmBar.NumberOfPages = this._currentProperties.numOfPages; btmBar.CurrentPage = this.CurrentPageNumber; btmBar.PageChanged += new SuperRepeaterPagerBar.PageChangedEventHandler(PageChanged); } protected override void CreateChildControls() { EnsureDataBound(); this.Controls.Add(topBar); this.Controls.Add(btmBar); //base.CreateChildControls(); } private void PageChanged(object sender, int newPage) { this.CurrentPageNumber = newPage; } public override void DataBind() { //pageDataSource(); //DataBind removes all controls from control collection... base.DataBind(); Controls.Add(topBar); Controls.Add(btmBar); } private void pageDataSource() { //Create paged data source PagedDataSource pds = new PagedDataSource(); pds.PageSize = this.ItemsPerPage; pds.AllowPaging = true; // first get a PagedDataSource going and perform sort if possible... if (base.DataSource is System.Collections.IEnumerable) { pds.DataSource = (System.Collections.IEnumerable)base.DataSource; } else if (base.DataSource is System.Data.DataView) { DataView data = (DataView)DataSource; if (this.SortBy != null && data.Table.Columns.Contains(this.SortBy)) { data.Sort = this.SortBy; } pds.DataSource = data.Table.Rows; } else if (base.DataSource is System.Data.DataTable) { DataTable data = (DataTable)DataSource; if (this.SortBy != null && data.Columns.Contains(this.SortBy)) { data.DefaultView.Sort = this.SortBy; } pds.DataSource = data.DefaultView; } else if (base.DataSource is System.Data.DataSet) { DataSet data = (DataSet)DataSource; if (base.DataMember != null && data.Tables.Contains(base.DataMember)) { if (this.SortBy != null && data.Tables[base.DataMember].Columns.Contains(this.SortBy)) { data.Tables[base.DataMember].DefaultView.Sort = this.SortBy; } pds.DataSource = data.Tables[base.DataMember].DefaultView; } else if (data.Tables.Count > 0) { if (this.SortBy != null && data.Tables[0].Columns.Contains(this.SortBy)) { data.Tables[0].DefaultView.Sort = this.SortBy; } pds.DataSource = data.Tables[0].DefaultView; } else { throw new Exception("DataSet doesn't have any tables."); } } else if (base.DataSource == null) { // don't do anything? } else { throw new Exception("DataSource must be of type System.Collections.IEnumerable. • Delphi - Proper way to page though data.

I have a string list (TStrings) that has a couple thousand items in it. I need to process them in groups of 100. I basically want to know what the best way to do the loop is in Delphi. • .LazyInitializationException when adding to a list that is held within a entity class using hibernat

    - by molleman
Right so i am working with hibernate gilead and gwt to persist my data on users and files of a website. my users have a list of file locations. i am using annotations to map my classes to the database. i am getting a org.hibernate.LazyInitializationException when i try to add file locations to the list that is held in the user class. this is a method below that is overridden from a external file upload servlet class that i am using. when the file uploads it calls this method. the user1 is loaded from the database elsewhere. the exception occurs at user1.getFileLocations().add(fileLocation); . i dont understand it really at all.! any help would be great. the stack trace of the error is below public String executeAction(HttpServletRequest request, List<FileItem> sessionFiles) throws UploadActionException { for (FileItem item : sessionFiles) { if (false == item.isFormField()) { try { YFUser user1 = (YFUser)getSession().getAttribute(SESSION_USER); • Problems Mapping a List of Serializable Objets with JDO

    - by Sergio del Amo
    I have two classes Invoice and InvoiceItem. I would like Invoice to have a List of InvoiceItem Objets. I have red that the list must be of primitive or serializable objects. I have made InvoiceItem Serializable. Invoice.java looks like import java.util.ArrayList; import java.util.Date; import java.util.List; import javax.jdo.annotations.Column; import javax.jdo.annotations.Embedded; import javax.jdo.annotations.EmbeddedOnly; import javax.jdo.annotations.IdGeneratorStrategy; import javax.jdo.annotations.IdentityType; import javax.jdo.annotations.PersistenceCapable; import return id; } public void setId(Long id) {this.id = id;} public String getNumber() { return number;} public void setNumber(String invoiceNumber) { this.number = invoiceNumber;} public Date getDate() { return date;} public void setDate(Date invoiceDate) { this.date = invoiceDate;} public List<InvoiceItem> getItems() { return items;} public void setItems(List<InvoiceItem> items) { this.items = items;} } and InvoiceItem.java looks like import java.io.Serializable; import java.math.BigDecimal; import javax.jdo.annotations.PersistenceCapable; import javax.jdo.annotations.Persistent; @PersistenceCapable public class InvoiceItem implements Serializable { @Persistent private BigDecimal amount; @Persistent private float quantity; public InvoiceItem() {} public BigDecimal getAmount() { return amount;} public void setAmount(BigDecimal amount) { this.amount = amount;} public float getQuantity() { return quantity;} public void setQuantity(float quantity) { this.quantity = quantity;} } I get the next error while running a JUnit test. javax.jdo.JDOUserException: Attempt to handle persistence for object using datastore-identity yet StoreManager for this datastore doesn't support store an invoice with a list of items through my app. In the development console I can see that items are not persisted to any field while the rest of the invoice class properties are stored properly. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Solution As pointed in the answers, the error says that the InvoiceItem class was missing a primaryKey. I tried with: @PrimaryKey @Persistent(valueStrategy = IdGeneratorStrategy.IDENTITY) private Long id; But I was getting javax.jdo.JDOFatalUserException: Error in meta-data for InvoiceItem.id: Cannot have a java.lang.Long primary key and be a child object (owning field is Invoice.items). In persist list of objets, @aldrin pointed that For child classes the primary key has to be a com.google.appengine.api.datastore.Key value (or encoded as a string) see So, I tried with Key. It worked. @PrimaryKey @Persistent(valueStrategy = IdGeneratorStrategy.IDENTITY) private Key id;

  • How can I add headers to DualList control wpf

    - by devnet247
Hi all I am trying to write a Dual List usercontrol in wpf. I am new to wpf and I am finding it quite difficult. This is something I have put together in a couple of hours. It's not that good but a start. I would be extremely grateful if somebody with wpf experience could improve it. The aim is to simplify the usage as much as possible I am kind of stuck. I would like the user of the DualList Control to be able to set up headers how do you do that. Do I need to expose some dependency properties in my control? At the moment when loading the user has to pass a ObservableCollection is there a better way? Could you have a look and possibly make any suggestions with some code?
