• Loading Ajax within a Google Maps InfoWindow

  I have put together a 5 star rating system using PHP and Ajax which will write the rating into a database. (See link below) http://andrewmccrum.com/maps/rate/5star.php I want this rating system to work within a Google Maps InfoWindow but at the minute I can only get the InfoWindow to read and display the rating.   I have an asp.net website which as part of a wizard uses an embedded google map to select a location by clicking on the map to place a marker. How do I automate this with Selenium? In particular I've tried: ClickAt DoubleClickAt MouseDownAt MouseUpAt In all cases passing the map div id as the locator and "100,100" as the coordinate. I don't care where on the map the marker is placed, as long as I can place that marker.

  The mobile view of Google Calendar is really great, but I would like to be able to have it for one calendar ONLY, rather than all of the calendars I use. This would be so that I could create a webapp where a user could visit a URL and see a mobile view of a certain calendar, without the user having to add it to his calendars. This code includes an API key, which is visible to everyone who views your source code. How does it guarantees that the request is coming from the real site, and not from a third-party who wants to mess with your statistics? Does it check the HTTP Referer header? Even that is not safe, as it can be forged.

• Removing Directions markers from the Google Maps API V3

  To remove a normal marker from a map, I understand you simply call marker.setMap(null), but when implementing the Google Maps directions services, it automatically adds markers A and B onto the map ( calculating directions from point A to point B ). I do not have control over these markers, so I cannot remove them in the normal way. So how can I remove these markers (I have custom markers on the map instead)?

  I know at some point I'd come across a Google service built into their API that would provide local information as markers on the viewport (schools, hospitals, etc.)-- I believe this was a simple control that could be added just like the normal map controls, to allow users to turn it on or off with a checkbox or button. I can't seem to find this feature documented anywhere in the v3.0 API docs. Can anyone provide some information on this, or let me know if it was deprecated? Thanks

  I have an activity that holds a fragment with Google Map view in it. App adds several dozens of markers to the MapView, using MarkerManager and ClusterRenderer to form clusters. The problem is that when I have marker's InfoWindow opened and I press hardware Back button, it closes the app. Instead of that, I would like to have the InfoWindow closed.   We recently migrated from VS 2008 to VS 2010. The migration went fine, except for our web project. Before, in VS 2008, the site showed up as http://localhost/Website. Now, it appears as C:...\Website. It appears that when we did the migration, VS started to treat it as a file system website. I've tried removing the existing site and re-adding it as an existing website, but it still displays it as C:...\Website. Is there any way to convert it back to show it as a http://localhost/website, and run through IIS, as opposed to the default ASP.NET Development Server?

  Google is asking me to fax credit card xerox in order to activate adwords API in MCC. 1) Are there alternatives to this - is there a 3rd party provider who will give me this service without me sending them the credit card info? 2) How secure is it to send my credit card fax via some online fax service? 3) Do you think they will reject the application if I hide my CVV number in the fax?   When I zoom in at a certain zoom level, Google Earth makes my system freeze completely so that I have to power off or reboot I use Kubuntu 12.04 and my laptop has an Intel(R)Core(TM)i3-2310M CPU @2.10GHz with HD3000 graphics. I installed intel-gpu-tools and tried to fix it with sudo intel_reg_write 0x2120 0x1206800 as explained [here][1], but that didn't work. I wonder if there any other solution out there...

  my web site has a lot of "(direct) / (none)" traffic (over 50%) in Google Analytics, but under the "Audience", 100% are new visitors, why is that? I am quite sure most of the Audience should be new visitor, but why so many "(direct) / (none)" traffic? Update: Actually we have launch a new site which this number drop significantly, so I am interested in knowing why the number was so high in the past.
