    I've seen other questions about this exception, but all of them seem to be resolved with the solution that a row with the primary key specified already exists. This doesn't seem to be the case for me. I have tried replacing all single quotes in my strings with double quotes, but the same problem occurs.     Hello all, Both the MySQLi and MySQLi_STMT classes have an $insert_id property. If I am connected to my database using a MySQLi object (say $db), and then I perform an INSERT with a MySQLi_STMT object (say $stmt), to get the id of the last INSERT, should I use: $last_id = $db->insert_id; or $last_id = $stmt->insert_id; Or would they be the same, in which case it doesn't matter? I thought this might be a quick answer for someone, and save me the time of writing the test code to check it. Thanks in advance as always.

    Hi, I have an editable iframe and I want to insert two DIVs at the [b]top [/b]and [b]bottom [/b]part(as header/footer) of iframe body respectively. Now, the question is : how to insert a div [b]at the top of iframe body[/b] and fix it there? (Will insertFirst() work?) Also, how to fix the footer div always [b]at the bottom of the iframe body[/b]? I tried make its position absolute and gave a margin top/bottom, but the problem comes when the body height of the iframe increases and footer DIV position does not change. I want the same thing google docs does, i.e. fixing separate part for header/footer (though google docs page is not an iframe). Any work around? Regards, Swarnendu

The current approach will cause a Fatal error saying function name must be a string in this line. Actually I followed this thread on SO, but just cannot pass the date into MySQL... Can anyone help me figure out which part is not right? How would you do it, in this case, to get it right? Sorry about such a journeyman-like question, thanks a lot in advance.

    I've got some data in the following format: -1,-1,-1,-1,701,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1,304,390,403,435,438,439,442,455 I need to insert it into a temp table like this: CREATE TABLE #TEMP ( Node int ) So that I can use it in a comparison with data in another table. The data above represents separate rows of the "Node" column. Is there an easy way to insert this data, all in one command? Also, the data will actually being coming in as seen, as a string... so I need to be able to just concat it into the SQL query string. I can obviously modify it first if needed.

    I have an EditorGridPanel with toolbar button to add new records. Everything works fine except one scenario. When I try to insert a record which already exists in database, server sends back: {"success":false,"message":"already exists","data":{}} but grid creates a new row marked with red triangle. If after that I try to insert a new record (even if it doesn't exist in database), everything works fine on the server side, but i get an 'uncaught exception' in firebug. It says: 'uncaught exception: Ext.data.DataReader: #realize was called with invalid remote-data. Please see the docs for DataReader#realize and review your DataReader configuration.' why is that?

    I m sry if the title is not clear. Here's my proble. I created a new table which will show total, average and maximum values. I have to insert the results into that table. That table will have only 4 rows. No Appointment, Appointment Early, Appointment Late and Appointment Punctual. So.. I have sth like.. insert into newTable select 'No Appointment' as 'Col1', avg statement, total statement, max statement from orgTable where (general conditions) and (unique condition to check NO APPOINTMENT); I have to do that same thing for another 3 rows.. where only the unique condition is different to check early, punctual or late.. So..the statement is super long. I wanna reduce the size.. How can I achieve that?

    I am about to run a massive data insert into my DB. I have managed to work out how to enable and rebuild non-clustered indexes on my tables but I also want to disable/enable primary keys. You can't disable the clustered index for the primary key as the table is inaccessible when that is done and my attempt to do a ALTER TABLE for constraints does not work as I think that is only for foreign keys. Do you know of a way to Disable the Primary Key and Re-Enable After SQL Bulk Insert. NOTE: This is over numerous tables and so I don't know the exact primary key specifications eg/name etc

I'd like to see this get batched, so the update is more performant. It's possible that this routine could result in tens-of-thousands of rows generated, and a db trip per row is a killer. Why isn't this getting batched? (It's my understanding that batch inserts are supposed to be default where appropriate by hibernate).

    Hello, I have a situation when there's a table and you can add a new row by clicking a button. The row is dynamically generated by a server and it is passed back in HTML. So basically what i need to do is prefix the new row to the old table. Something like this: tableelement.innerHTML = newHtml + tableelement.innerHTML; That surely works, but i have a table header and, obviously, i need to insert the new html after it. How would i do this? insertBefore or insertAfter can't help (afaik), because they're meant for inserting elements and not unparsed HTML. So how could i, having an object of the header's row, insert another row (in HTML) after it (or before) ? Thank you for your ideas
