    I'm making the call using the following script which is called on click of an anchor tag function GetToken(videoId) { debugger; var json = $.getJSON("/Vod/RequestAccessToken/"+videoId, function(result){ alert("token recieved: " + result.token); }); } In the server application I recieve the call so I know it is a valid URL, but the callback is not being invoked. If i set though the jquery code (f11/f10) the callback is called??!!!?

    With Wordpress based function: $response = wp_remote_post() I can POST data and retrieve the body of the POST page in $response-body But how can I POST and redirect the user to the post page? It's not an option to create Form page and Submit button because I'm trying to create a plugin for Group buying plugin in Wordpress. It is also not an option to use GET, because the "destination" POST page will not allow data in the URL. Please help me !

    I'm working on a Wordpress plugin. I need to pass plugin directories (that can change depending on an individual's installation) to a jquery function. What is the best way of doing this? The version of the plugin that I can to work on had included all the javascript in the PHP file so the functions were parsed along with the rest of the content before being rendered in a browser. I'm looking at AJAX but I think it might be more complicated than I need. I can get away with just two variables in this case (directories, nothing set by the user). As I've read its good practice, I'm trying to keep the js and php separate. When the plugin initializes, it call the js file: //Wordpress calls the .js when the plugin loads wp_enqueue_script( 'wp-backitup-funtions', plugin_dir_url( __FILE__ ) .     One of the sites i visit has an annoying habit of naming all their files showimage.php. When i save the image or file it saves as a .php so i cannot open the file. The worse part is, there is a &ext=zip&more=blah in the url. Is it possible to use greasemonkey to rename the file ext so it isnt php? (maybe injecting a content disposition header?)
