  Hi, I was sniffing the response header of one my sites and apparently is not using http compression to deliver responses because I'm not seeing the Content-Encoding: gzip in the response header. But the weird thing is that phpinfo() shows me HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING: gzip,deflate,sdch Im using a rackspace cloud site (shared hosting, cant access httpdconfig), and I really want to activate http compression but the support guys over there tells me that if the phpinfo() says it, its already on. thanks.!

• Can't find IIS manager on SQL Reporting Services 2008 machine to setup FQDN

  I've got a machine that I inherited that runs SSRS 2008. I can't seem to find IIS anywhere on this machine, yet it's serving up content over port 80. I look under services and there is no WWW service running. I need to configure a fully qualified domain name for this reporting instance and I am at a loss as to where to start. Does SSRS 2008 run under its own web server?

Today I pointed domain#2, setup the directory and nginx etc. Going to www.domain#2.com I am seeing the content for domain#1. What do I have to do so each domain is mapped correctly? I thought that was what the nginx file was for that I created for each domain?

Of course, 30Gb is far too large for a single dvd and the content is already zipped. I'm open to ideas, but leaning towards suggestions that will help me automatically spread the file over multiple dvds, including a simple program to stitch it back together again later.

  I have one monitor and a projector connecting to my computer, while the screen keep flashing after every 10 seconds, it seems the resolution keeps changing. The project is the a dual display for the monitor. They displays the same content. My current resolution is 1024*768, while after 10 seconds around, the resolution goes to something big, then after a few seconds, it goes back to 1024*768.
