  • Selenium RC cannot test on compressed html

    In order to have the fast speed of website, the web sever compress (gzip) the html files before sending to our clients. When running selenium tests, it shows a pop-up saying: You have chosen to open ... which is a: Bin file from: http://... Would you like to save this file? "Cancel" "Save File" It seems that the compressed html file doesn't unzip and browsers recognise it as Binary file.

  • Symfony - Delete and reload all database records for each test

    Hi there, From the Jobeet tutorial provided in Symfony website, I found out that I can load fixtures data each time I run unit test by using this script: Doctrine_Core::loadData(sfConfig::get('sf_test_dir').'/fixtures'); However, I want to delete and reload all records from database each time I run a unit test. Currently, I'm doing this manually (Run symfony doctrine:build --all before each test). Can someone provided me a correct way to do this?

    Consider multiple domains (with different country extensions) that go to one singe physical website. Depending on the country extension of the domain, I want to route to a specific subfolder while keeping the active domain! Examples: www.mydomain.com/we/about-us.aspx to www.mydomain.com/content/com/we/about-us.aspx www.mydomain.fr/we/about-us.aspx to www.mydomain.fr/content/fr/we/about-us.aspx www.mydomain.be/we/about-us.aspx to www.mydomain.be/content/be/we/about-us.aspx Is this possible with the new web routing features in ASP.NET 4.0?   • What is mangling tinyurls?

    Hello all. I've noticed that some form processors make a mess out of posted TinyURLs (converting the thing to a broken 'tinyurl": "http:\/?\/?tinyurl.com\/?whatever", "ok": tr') while leaving alone other plain URLs. I've seen it happen in WordPress, and I've seen it here on SO (eg.: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2508690/whats-the-most-efficient-way-to-setup-a-multi-lingual-website - second comment to first answer). Has anybody looked into what component or function is doing this? Is there a way to prevent it?

    Hello, I have created an application that records a series of longitude and latitude values in a SQLite database and display them as a coloured track on a MapActivity. I now want to be able to export this data somehow (preferably to a file) so a user can upload the values to a website showing a Google Map API. My question is: what would be the quickest way to export the data (and in what file format: GPX, XML, CSV) to the SD card located on the Android device. Many thanks.

  • Zend Framework-Do images, mp3s, scripts, etc, just go in public folder?

    I guess these are all questions that everyone must just know, because I'm not seeing this in the documentation :-D I understand that the public folder is the folder that the world has access to. I know it is the case with the css folder, but in migrating a traditional php website over, will my /images folder, /js folder /mp3s, etc Will those all just also be public folders that will be accessed via the layout or view.phtml pages?     I had written a Web Service to return a DataSet back to my ASP.Net site and this was working fine. However due to security issues and also the ability to get certain references installed, I have to move this to an App Server and so doing it as a Windows Service and communicating with the ASP.Net site now via sockets. Is there a way I can easily give the Website a serialized DataSet via Sockets from my App Server so I can read this in and then just carry on using the code I currently have to bind this to a GridView?

    On this website,http://www.webdavsystem.com/server/documentation/ms_office_read_only, it states that in order to open a writable version of a MS Office doc this condition has to be met: Your WebDAV server must be configured on site root. Is this still true? Because I tried the SqlStorage sample and it works fine. I deployed the application on IIS 7, under <server>/TestWebDav and MS Office 2010 opened the documents in the sample just fine. Thanks
