    I had MediaWiki installed in as the default site on my server using IIS 6 and I created a virtual directory and pointed it to the Wiki folder. The page loads, but all the links are pointing to the original location that is no longer pointing to the Wiki Folder.     Grails, by default, is case-sensitive when mapping URL to controller actions or views. For instance, www.mywebsite.com/book/list will work BUT www.mywebsite.com/Book/list will return a 404 page. What can I do (code snippets are welcomed) to make my URL case-insensitive (i.e. www.mywebsite.com/Book/list being a valid url) ?

  • setting user.dir system property in JBoss 5.1

    In JBoss 4.2.3 the System property 'user.dir' is defined to be <JBoss-root>/bin when I ran the same application on JBoss 5.1 I noticed that it cannot find the System property user.dir why there is no default definition for version 5.1? and how can I define it manually? I followed this suggestion and added my property into properties-service.xml but it had no affect and still JBoss couldn't find the system:user.dir value.

    I have to use windows to write some shell scripts. I decided to use emacs, but I get a weird error when running the script: /bin/bash^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory Correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks like the shebang ends in \r\n instead of just \n. How can I tell emacs to only write \n? I'm in Shell-script major mode. It's quite surprising this isn't fixed by default.

    We do not use a Maven framework in our environments. Can you suggest a way to use the Jersey test framework for testing the Rest web services? I have tried to override the TestContaioner and TestContainerFactory interfaces to set up an AppDescriptor but I fail to understand how to set the LowLevelDescriptor to use the HTTPContainerFactory instead of the default one. I tried also settign the System property jersey.test.containerFactory. Does not work?Any ideas?

    I have a javascript action on a div (asp.net panel) as an onkeypress attribute. This is the default action button on an asp.net Panel control. It contains the following: onkeypress="javascript:return WebForm_FireDefaultButton(event, 'ctl00_cp1_ucInvoiceSearch_btnSearch')" For some reason when I change my textbox to a jQuery textbox clicking enter no longer fires this div. Why and how can I hook it back up so when I enter text in the textbox and click enter it fires? Lloyd

    I'm having trouble getting the jquery ui 1.8 dialog to center I've tried leaving the options default, and setting position: 'center'. When the dialog displayed, the browser window gets scrolled down to the centre of the page, and the dialog is positioned at the bottom left of the window. This worked fine with jquery 1.3.2 and ui 1.7.2. Is there something new I need to do with this version?

    I'm used to seeing temporary tables created with just the hash/number symbol, like this: CREATE TABLE #Test ( [Id] INT ) However, I've recently come across stored procedure code that specifies the schema name when creating temporary tables, for example: CREATE TABLE [dbo].[#Test] ( [Id] INT ) Is there any reason why you would want to do this? If you're only specifying the user's default schema, does it make any difference? Does this refer to the [dbo] schema in the local database or the tempdb database?

    How can I allow the user to click to check an item in CheckedListBox in one click? The default behaviour is the first click selects the item, the second click allows you to toggle the check.     ok so im having an issue with Flash CS5. I have a sound looping, and my animation is only 13 frames long, while the song is like a minute long, so each time the animation loops threw the default "Loop Playback" a new sound audio is played which os overlapping the previous over and over causing a massive echo effect. Whats the best way to loop both of them insync, or atleast copy and paste the animations frames and make it the length of the song?
