  • Android Studio Could not call IncrementalTask.taskAction() on task ':project:dexDebug'

    - by akenawell85x
I recently decided to switch from Eclipse to Android Studio. I imported a project I was working on and am now getting this error when I try to run the project. Gradle: Execution failed for task ':project:dexDebug'. > Could not call IncrementalTask.taskAction() on task ':project:dexDebug' I've been cruising this site for 2 days now and trying different suggestions to no avail. I did run gradlew compileDebug --stacktrace and this is what I got: C:\Users\adam\AndroidStudioProjects\projectProject>gradlew compileDebug --stacktrace Relying on packaging to define the extension of the main artifact has been deprecated and is scheduled to be removed in Gradle 2.0 :project:preBuild UP-TO-DATE :project:preDebugBuild UP-TO-DATE :project:preReleaseBuild UP-TO-DATE :project:prepareComAndroidSupportAppcompatV71800Library UP-TO-DATE :project:prepareComGoogleAndroidGmsPlayServices3225Library UP-TO-DATE :project:prepareDebugDependencies :project:compileDebugAidl UP-TO-DATE :project:compileDebugRenderscript UP-TO-DATE :project:generateDebugBuildConfig UP-TO-DATE :project:mergeDebugAssets UP-TO-DATE :project:mergeDebugResources UP-TO-DATE :project:processDebugManifest UP-TO-DATE :project:processDebugResources UP-TO-DATE :project:generateDebugSources UP-TO-DATE :project:compileDebug UP-TO-DATE BUILD SUCCESSFUL Total time: 10.459 secs However I am still getting that error when I try to actually run the project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Cannot turn off autocommit in a script using the Django ORM

    - by Wes
I have a command line script that uses the Django ORM and MySQL backend. I want to turn off autocommit and commit manually. For the life of me, I cannot get this to work. Here is a pared down version of the script. A row is inserted into testtable every time I run this and I get this warning from MySQL: "Some non-transactional changed tables couldn't be rolled back". #!/usr/bin/python import os import sys django_dir = os.path.abspath(os.path.normpath(os.path.join(os.path.dirname(__file__), '..'))) sys.path.append(django_dir) os.environ['DJANGO_DIR'] = django_dir os.environ['DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE'] = 'myproject.settings' from django.core.management import setup_environ from myproject import settings setup_environ(settings) from django.db import transaction, connection cursor = connection.cursor() cursor.execute('SET autocommit = 0') cursor.execute('insert into testtable values (\'X\')') cursor.execute('rollback') I also tried placing the insert in a function and adding Django's commit_manually wrapper, like so: @transaction.commit_manually def myfunction(): cursor = connection.cursor() cursor.execute('SET autocommit = 0') cursor.execute('insert into westest values (\'X\')') cursor.execute('rollback') myfunction() I also tried setting DISABLE_TRANSACTION_MANAGEMENT = True in settings.py, with no further luck. I feel like I am missing something obvious. Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm trying to add Dojo Toolkit to Zend Framework application, in my Bootstrap.php I defined following settings: protected function _initDoctype() { $this->bootstrap('view'); $view = $this->getResource('view'); Zend_Dojo::enableView($view); $view->doctype('XHTML1_STRICT'); $view ->headLink() ->appendStylesheet('/assets/css/global.css') ; $view ->dojo() ->enable() ->setCdnVersion('1.5') ->addStyleSheetModule('dijit.themes.claro') ; } All JavaScript functionality included correctly and working fine, however styling of forms and other widgets looks incomplete, no background,no images and no text styles, just basic layout defined. Did I missed something here?

  • Is there a way to make a Google Web Toolkit (GWT) Button look like a HTML Hyperlink?

    - by Catfish
I plan on appending some comments onto a text, to do that, first, I need the concerned text to act like a button for me to launch a popup, which in turn shows the comment. For that to happen, I need to make that concerned text to act like a button in GWT, but due to some aesthetic reasons I don't want it to look like a normal GWT Button, instead, I prefer it to look like any normal HTML hyper-link, which upon clicking it, acts exactly like a GWT Button which in turn showing the comment in the pop up. So is there a way to make a GWT Button appear more like a html hyper-link? Or, at the minimum, would it be possible to convert the concerned text to .JPG for it to be inserted into a Image Button in GWT?

  • What might make "Xclients" be executed twice when boot system?

    - by ablmf
    For some special purpose, I modified /etc/X11/xinit/Xclients to start firefox instead of start Desktop Environment. # Argh! Nothing good is installed. Fall back to twm { # gosh, neither fvwm95 nor fvwm2 is available; # fall back to failsafe settings [ -x /usr/bin/xsetroot ] && /usr/bin/xsetroot -solid '#222E45' # if [ -x /usr/bin/xclock ] ; then # /usr/bin/xclock -geometry 100x100-5+5 & # elif [ -x /usr/bin/xclock ] ; then # /usr/bin/xclock -geometry 100x100-5+5 & # fi # if [ -x /usr/bin/xterm ] ; then # /usr/bin/xterm -geometry 80x50-50+150 & # fi if [ -x /usr/bin/firefox ]; then /usr/bin/firefox -chrome http://127.0.0.1/ -width 1280 -height 768 fi # if [ -x /usr/bin/twm ] ; then # exec /usr/bin/twm # fi This used to work fine until today I tested it on another computer. Firefox reports that there's another running instance of firefox which stops responding. Thus, firefox could not autostart as I expected. I connected the computer with SSH and I found there are 2 firefox processes: [root@my113 xinit]# ps -ef | grep firefox root 4479 4371 0 17:34 ? 00:00:00 /bin/sh /usr/lib/firefox-3.0b5/run-mozilla.sh /usr/lib/firefox-3.0b5/firefox -chrome http://127.0.0.1/ -width 1280 -height 768 root 4600 4479 0 17:34 ? 00:00:01 /usr/lib/firefox-3.0b5/firefox -chrome http://127.0.0.1/ -width 1280 -height 768 root 4940 4906 0 17:35 ? 00:00:00 /bin/sh /usr/lib/firefox-3.0b5/run-mozilla.sh /usr/lib/firefox-3.0b5/firefox -chrome http://127.0.0.1/ -width 1280 -height 768 root 4963 4940 0 17:35 ? 00:00:00 /usr/lib/firefox-3.0b5/firefox -chrome http://127.0.0.1/ -width 1280 -height 768 root 5717 5345 0 17:51 pts/2 00:00:00 grep firefox I guess, for some reason, "Xclients" is executed twice. But I really knows very little about XWindows, so if anyone here could give me some clues, I will appreciate!

  • How to replace openSSL calls with C# code?

    - by fonix232
Hey there again! Today I ran into a problem when I was making a new theme creator for chrome. As you may know, Chrome uses a "new" file format, called CRX, to manage it's plugins and themes. It is a basic zip file, but a bit modified: "Cr24" + derkey + signature + zipFile And here comes the problem. There are only two CRX creators, written in Ruby or Python. I don't know neither language too much (had some basic experience in Python though, but mostly with PyS60), so I would like to ask you to help me convert this python app to a C# code that doesn't depend on external programs. Also, here is the source of crxmake.py: #!/usr/bin/python # Cribbed from http://github.com/Constellation/crxmake/blob/master/lib/crxmake.rb # and http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome/trunk/src/chrome/tools/extensions/chromium_extension.py?revision=14872&content-type=text/plain&pathrev=14872 # from: http://grack.com/blog/2009/11/09/packing-chrome-extensions-in-python/ import sys from array import * from subprocess import * import os import tempfile def main(argv): arg0,dir,key,output = argv # zip up the directory input = dir + ".zip" if not os.path.exists(input): os.system("cd %(dir)s; zip -r ../%(input)s . -x '.svn/*'" % locals()) else: print "'%s' already exists using it" % input # Sign the zip file with the private key in PEM format signature = Popen(["openssl", "sha1", "-sign", key, input], stdout=PIPE).stdout.read(); # Convert the PEM key to DER (and extract the public form) for inclusion in the CRX header derkey = Popen(["openssl", "rsa", "-pubout", "-inform", "PEM", "-outform", "DER", "-in", key], stdout=PIPE).stdout.read(); out=open(output, "wb"); out.write("Cr24") # Extension file magic number header = array("l"); header.append(2); # Version 2 header.append(len(derkey)); header.append(len(signature)); header.tofile(out); out.write(derkey) out.write(signature) out.write(open(input).read()) os.unlink(input) print "Done." if __name__ == '__main__': main(sys.argv) Please could you help me?

  • Accessing WebKit Devtools JavaScript library

    - by VLostBoy
I noticed something in Chrome the other day- I had opened Developer Tools, and then hit view source and was initially surprised to notice that apparently the developer tools window is coded in HTML and JavaScript- you can see that by putting the following into the Chrome address bar: view-source:chrome://devtools/devtools.html Two things struck me- first, the codes copyright belongs to Apple (considering their backing of WebKit, thats not too surprising), and secondly, it appears that you cannot access the JavaScript, CSS or Image files directly through Chrome by clicking on links in the source code. So two questions: Where are the DevTools assets stored on my computer or how can I otherwise access them? Or even better, can someone identify the library that is used and let me know how its licensed? I'm always on the look out for a well implemented UI toolkit- and Devtools looks great.

  • Optimizing code using PIL

    - by freakazo
Firstly sorry for the long piece of code pasted below. This is my first time actually having to worry about performance of an application so I haven't really ever worried about performance. This piece of code pretty much searches for an image inside another image, it takes 30 seconds to run on my computer, converting the images to greyscale and other changes shaved of 15 seconds, I need another 15 shaved off. I did read a bunch of pages and looked at examples but I couldn't find the same problems in my code. So any help would be greatly appreciated. From the looks of it (cProfile) 25 seconds is spent within the Image module, and only 5 seconds in my code. from PIL import Image import os, ImageGrab, pdb, time, win32api, win32con import cProfile def GetImage(name): name = name + '.bmp' try: print(os.path.join(os.getcwd(),"Images",name)) image = Image.open(os.path.join(os.getcwd(),"Images",name)) except: print('error opening image;', name) return image def Find(name): image = GetImage(name) imagebbox = image.getbbox() screen = ImageGrab.grab() #screen = Image.open(os.path.join(os.getcwd(),"Images","Untitled.bmp")) YLimit = screen.getbbox()[3] - imagebbox[3] XLimit = screen.getbbox()[2] - imagebbox[2] image = image.convert("L") Screen = screen.convert("L") Screen.load() image.load() #print(XLimit, YLimit) Found = False image = image.getdata() for y in range(0,YLimit): for x in range(0,XLimit): BoxCoordinates = x, y, x+imagebbox[2], y+imagebbox[3] ScreenGrab = screen.crop(BoxCoordinates) ScreenGrab = ScreenGrab.getdata() if image == ScreenGrab: Found = True #print("woop") return x,y if Found == False: return "Not Found" cProfile.run('print(Find("Login"))')

  • How can a Firefox extension inject a local css file into a webpage?

    - by Evgeny Shadchnev
I'm writing a Firefox extension that needs to inject a css file into webpages. The css file is bundled with the extension, so I can access it using a chrome url chrome://extensionid/content/skin/style.css I'm trying to inject css like this when the page is loaded: var fileref = document.createElement("link"); fileref.setAttribute("rel", "stylesheet"); fileref.setAttribute("type", "text/css"); fileref.setAttribute("href", "chrome://extensionid/content/skin/style.css"); document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(fileref); However, the css isn't loaded and Firebug shows 'Filtered chrome url' message instead of the file content, when I inspect the link element I created. If I try to load this css file from an external server, everything's fine. Is there are way to load a css file bundled with the extension?

  • Problem making local copy of a webpage

    - by Claudiu
I want to run this chrome experiment locally. I copied the .html and .js files, along with the two .jpgs that the demo uses. However, when I run it off my local drive, Chrome gives this error: light.js:89 - Uncaught Error: SECURITY_ERR: DOM Exception 18 Line 89 returns the image data from the canvas after drawing the image to it. What's causing this security exception? It seems to not be Chrome-specific, as Firefox gives the same error.

  • Yet another Python Windows CMD mklink problem ... can't get it to work!

    - by Felix Dombek
OK I have just posted another question which outlined my program but the specific problem was different. Now, my program just stops working without any message whatsoever. I'd be grateful if someone could help me here. I want to create symlinks for each file in a directory structure, all in one large flat folder, and have the following code by now: # loop over directory structure: # for all items in current directory, # if item is directory, recurse into it; # else it's a file, then create a symlink for it def makelinks(folder, targetfolder, cmdprocess = None): if not cmdprocess: cmdprocess = subprocess.Popen("cmd", stdin = subprocess.PIPE, stdout = subprocess.PIPE, stderr = subprocess.PIPE) print(folder) for name in os.listdir(folder): fullname = os.path.join(folder, name) if os.path.isdir(fullname): makelinks(fullname, targetfolder, cmdprocess) else: makelink(fullname, targetfolder, cmdprocess) #for a given file, create one symlink in the target folder def makelink(fullname, targetfolder, cmdprocess): linkname = os.path.join(targetfolder, re.sub(r"[\/\\\:\*\?\"\<\>\|]", "-", fullname)) if not os.path.exists(linkname): try: os.remove(linkname) print("Invalid symlink removed:", linkname) except: pass if not os.path.exists(linkname): cmdprocess.stdin.write("mklink " + linkname + " " + fullname + "\r\n") So this is a top-down recursion where first the folder name is printed, then the subdirectories are processed. If I run this now over some folder, the whole thing just stops after 10 or so symbolic links. Here is the output: D:\Musik\neu D:\Musik\neu\# Electronic D:\Musik\neu\# Electronic\# tag & reencode D:\Musik\neu\# Electronic\# tag & reencode\ChillOutMix D:\Musik\neu\# Electronic\# tag & reencode\Unknown D&B D:\Musik\neu\# Electronic\# tag & reencode\Unknown D&B 2 The program still seems to run but no new output is generated. It created 9 symlinks for some files in the # tag & reencode and the first three files in the ChillOutMix folder. The cmd.exe Window is still open and empty, and shows in its title bar that it is currently processing the mklink command for the third file in ChillOutMix. I tried to insert a time.sleep(2) after each cmdprocess.stdin.write in case Python is just too fast for the cmd process, but it doesn't help. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

  • Problems with GData Request Token

    - by Dan Delgado
We have successfully used GData libraries to access a user's Google Docs. But we encountered problems when many users log in to our site and authorize our web app at the same time or successively. Here's what happens: First user successful logs in, authorizes our web app via OAuth and is able to add rubric (or google spreadsheet). Second user, immediately after first user adds a rubric, successfully logs in then webapp fails on authorize (Token not given. I tried to log it.) Third user fails on login. Fourth user was able to log in, authorize via OAuth, and create rubrics successfully. Fifth user was able to log in but like the second user, gets an invalid token on authorize (Token not given.) And the list goes on. Results were unpredicatable. Below is an excerpt of the stack trace we get when the fail scenario happens: Nested in org.springframework.web.util.NestedServletException: Request processing failed; nested exception is java.lang.NullPointerException: java.lang.NullPointerException at com.google.gdata.client.authn.oauth.OAuthUtil.normalizeParameters(OAuthUtil.java:158) at com.google.gdata.client.authn.oauth.OAuthUtil.getSignatureBaseString(OAuthUtil.java:81) at com.google.gdata.client.authn.oauth.OAuthHelper.addCommonRequestParameters(OAuthHelper.java:649) at com.google.gdata.client.authn.oauth.OAuthHelper.getOAuthUrl(OAuthHelper.java:592) at com.google.gdata.client.authn.oauth.OAuthHelper.getUnauthorizedRequestToken(OAuthHelper.java:276) at com.projectrix.controller.OAuthController.authorize(OAuthController.java:59) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:40) Help!

  • django inner redirects

Hello I have one project that in my own development computer (uses mod_wsgi to serve the project) caused no problems. In live server (uses mod_fastcgi) it generates 500 though. my url conf is like this: # -*- coding: utf-8 -*- from django.conf.urls.defaults import * # Uncomment the next two lines to enable the admin: from django.contrib import admin admin.autodiscover() urlpatterns = patterns('', url(r'^admin/', include(admin.site.urls)), url(r'^', include('jalka.game.urls')), ) and # -*- coding: utf-8 -*- from django.conf.urls.defaults import * from django.contrib.auth import views as auth_views urlpatterns = patterns('jalka.game.views', url(r'^$', view = 'front', name = 'front',), url(r'^ennusta/(?P<game_id>\d+)/$', view = 'ennusta', name = 'ennusta',), url(r'^login/$', auth_views.login, {'template_name': 'game/login.html'}, name='auth_login'), url(r'^logout/$', auth_views.logout, {'template_name': 'game/logout.html'}, name='auth_logout'), url(r'^arvuta/$', view = 'arvuta', name = 'arvuta',), ) and .htaccess is like that: Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on RewriteOptions MaxRedirects=10 # RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} . • How do I use Google's Gson API to deserialize JSON properly?

    - by FK82
Hi, In short, this is a sketch of the JSON object I want to parse in JAVA: { object1: { item1: //[String | Array | Object] , item2: // ... //<> more items object2: { // } //<> more objects } These are the POJO s I created for parsing (I'll leave out the import statements for brevity's sake): (1) The representation of the complete JSON object public class JObjectContainer { private List<JObject> jObjects ; public JObjectContainer() { // } //get & set methods } (2) The representation of the nested objects: public class JObject { private String id ; private List<JNode> jObjects ; public JObject() { // } //get & set methods } (3) The representation of the items: public class JNode { private JsonElement item1 ; private JsonElement item2 ; //<> more item fields public JNode() { // } //get & set methods } Now, creating a Gson instance (FileReader for importing the jsonFile), Gson gson = new Gson() ; JObjectContainer joc = gson(jsonFile,JObjectContainer.class) ; I get a NullPointerException whenever I try to access the parseable object (e.g. through a ListIterator). Gson does however create an object of the class I specified and does not throw any subsequent errors. I know that this has been done before. So, what am I missing? TIA

  • Will news ticker using overflow:hidden cause Google to see site as spam?

    - by molipix
In the hope of tempting Googlebot with fresh content, I've implemented a homepage news ticker which displays the 20 most recent headlines on our site. The implementation I have chosen is a <ul> with each headline being a <li> Initially all the <li> elements have no style but Javascript kicks in on page load and gives all but one of them a display="style:none" attribute. Javascript then displays each of the other 19 headlines in a loop. So far so good. However, in order to prevent a visually unplesant page load where the 20 items display and then immediately collapse, I am using overflow:hidden on the <ul> element. Anyone got a view on what Googlebot is likely to make of this? Does the fact that I'm using overflow:hidden make the content look like spam?
