    A client wants to have an image that takes up entire screen, on mouse over the menu would appear. The problem is the height vertical alignment for various screen sizes....What would be the most common sleek looking solution to this issue? Let's assume that the most common screen resolution for the site's audience is 1024x768 but it should look good on smaller resolutions too (specifically for laptops). Thanks!

    The following code works when running the NetBeans IDE. this.getFrame().setIconImage(Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage("PlagiaLyzerIcon.png")); However, once it was built into Jar file, the icon was gone. Anyone has idea what's the problem? I realized I've to put the icon image on the root directory, however, after compiling into JAR, the icon gone. Thanks for any help..

    Any ideas on how to create a cover that has alpha 100 but is able to let a button behind it be touched, and an action to be called. i dont want to apply the action to the cover, nor change the buttons image - as a convaluted set up is required for each one. any ideas? what im after is effective not a see-through button, but a touch through button... I want to be able and write something like ls *<and not Thomas>.txt to give me file_Michael.txt and file_Anne.txt, but not file_Thomas.txt. The reverse is easy: ls *Thomas.txt Doing it with a single character is also easy: ls *[^s].txt But how to do it with a string? Sebastian

I have chosen portobuf-net as it seems to be more stable (porto# is still v0.9 or I would have gone for it). Before I start working on it I wanted to be sure that I can achieve this (serializing data using java implementation and deserializing it using potobuf-net). Or is there any list of methods that are specific to portobuf-net implementation?

    Hello, Got nothing better to do this Christmas holiday, so I decided to try out making a binary search tree. I'm stuck with the print function. How should the logic behind it work? Since the tree is already inserting it in a somewhat sorted order, and I want to print the tree from smallest values to the biggest. So I need to travel to the furthest left branch of the tree to print the first value. Right, so after that how do I remember the way back up, do I need to save the previous node? A search in wikipedia gave me an solution which they used stack. And other solutions I couldn't quite understand how they've made it, so I'm asking here instead hoping someone can enlight me. I also wonder my insert function is OK.
