• DevExpress AspxGridView clientside SelectionChanged problem when using paged ObjectDataSource

  The context is as follows: One DexExpress AspxGridView with a server-side paging/filtering/sorting mechanism (using ObjectDataSource). I've been having problems with the filter mechanism ( see this stack ). Now, the problem I'm having is this: the client-side events get mangled between DataSource events. :O . Let me explain what happens: if I change the page (or sort/filter for that matter), then, select one row from the grid, the client-side SelectionChanged event fires well. If I change the page (or sort/filter), the event doesn't fire anymore. • How to run Spring 3.0 PetClinic in tomcat with Hibernate backed JPA

  OK, this probably is supposed to be the easiest thing in the world, but I've been trying for the entire day, and it's still not working.. Any help is highly appreciated! What I did: Downloaded Tomcat 6.0.26 & Spring 3.0.1 Downloaded PetClinic from https://src.springframework.org/svn/spring-samples/petclinic Built & deployed petclinic.war. Ran fine with default TopLink persistence. Edited webapps/WEB-INF/spring/applicationContext-jpa.xml and changed jpaVendorAdaptor from TopLink to Hibernate. Edited webapps/WEB-INF/web.xml and changed context-param from applicationContext-jdbc.xml to applicationContext-jpa.xml Copied everything in the Spring 3.0.1 distribution to TOMCAT_HOME/lib. Launched tomcat. Saw Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: ClassLoader [org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader] does NOT provide an 'addTransformer(ClassFileTransformer)' method. Specify a custom LoadTimeWeaver or start your Java virtual machine with Spring's agent: -javaagent:spring-agent.jar Uncommented line <Loader loaderClass="org.springframework.instrument.classloading.tomcat.TomcatInstrumentableClassLoader"/> in webapps/META-INF/context.xml. Same error. Added that line to TOMCAT_HOME/context.xml Deployed without error.   FirstData has horrendous customer support, but I have to integrate with their Global Gateway web service for a project I'm working on. I'm simply trying to run the Axis2 wsdl2java tool according to the instructions in their manual. This basically consists of adding the keyStore and keyStorePassword JVM parameter. I've done both, but I continue to get Connection reset errors when trying to run: wsdl2java.bat -uri https://www.staging.linkpointcentral.com/fdggwsapi/order.wsdl -S C:\ When I try to access the URL with my browser, I get Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error. I assume there are developers out there who have completed a FirstData web service integration. What am I doing wrong?   Hi all: After googling for many hours for a solution for the above Sharepoint exception, I have come to SO for help on this one... I believe the cause of me getting the above exception is because of the following code: try { using (SPSite site = new SPSite(siteId, spUserToken)) { using (SPWeb web = site.OpenWeb(webId)) { createNewSite(web); } } } createNewSite(web) changes the name and URL of "web" using AllowUnsafeUpdates, so when it comes out of the method it has been changed. My few months worth of Sharepoint developing experience suggest that that is the cause of the exception. "web" is no longer used anymore so I can comfortably null it myself. The problem here is... it didnt work: try { using (SPSite site = new SPSite(siteId, spUserToken)) { SPWeb web = null; using (web = site.OpenWeb(webId)) { createNewSite(web); if (web != null) { web = null; } } } } I believe that the original developer used the using declaration to avoid SPWeb objects from leaking.   When I run my Unit Tests, all tests pass, but instead of "Test run succeeded" or whatever the success message is, I get "Test run error" in the little bar that tells me how many of my tests pass, even though all my tests passed.   I'd like to know if it will work: I have my domain and I´m serving a webpage in a nginx to the internet, but if I type my domain in my laptop inside LAN I access to my modem/router configuration, I cannot access to the web server unless I type the IP address. I would like to add a Bind server after the modem/router - (port forward, ports 80 and 5060), if the request is www.mydomain.com bind should resolve the nginx IP address and serve it, and if it is a voip request should address to the voip server and if I'd like to access to the website from inside LAN I'd like to type mydomain.com. • How can I provide secure web content to mobile devices that can't access an intranet?

We want users to be able to access a version of the content on their mobile devices, but most of them don't have the VPN capability to get on to their intranet.   We have had a web application product for several years, and used Tomcat to deploy it under Windows as it registers itself as a Windows service so it starts and stops automatically. We may now happen to need more JEE facilitites than is provided by Tomcat (we are very tempted by the JEE 6 things in the container) so the question is which Open Source JEE containers works well as Windows services. Since Glassfish is the only JEE 6 implementation right now, it would be nice if it works well, but I'd like to hear experiences and not just what I can read from brochures. If not, what else do people use? EDIT: This goes for web containers too, and not just JEE containers. We will probably keep the necessary stack included until we find the right container and it gets JEE6 support. EDIT: I want this to work as distributed. I'm not interested in manually hacking wrappers etc., but want the installation process to handle the creation and removal of the service.

• Jquery if visible conditional not working

  Hey, I have a page going here that uses jQuery: http://treethink.com/services What I am trying to do is, if a slide or sub-page is shown in there, change the background colour and colour of the button. To do this I tried saying, if a certain div is shown, the background colour of a certain button changes. However, you can see there that it isn't working properly, it is changing the colour for the web one but not removing the colour change and adding a colour change on a different button when you change pages. • How to sort by file's modified date on IIS web server in Windows 7?

  Apache has this built in since 1996 which is 17 years ago... for Microsoft's IIS Web server which is available on Windows 7, is there a way to make it be able to sort the file listing by file modification dates? For example, show the file listing with the label "Date", "Filename", and clicking it will sort the files by that attribute. The only info I could find is: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc732762(v=ws.10).aspx cd %windir%\system32\inetsrv appcmd set config /section:directoryBrowse /showFlags:Time|Size|Extension|Date|LongDate|None but it doesn't work.

• What is a normal value for pages/sec on a Windows Server 2003 Web Server?

  I know the answer to this is "it depends", and I know that the counter can and will be thrown off by backup jobs or other things that might use memory mapped files. I'd like to get a bit of clarity over exactly what "it depends" on and some general guidelines around what a healthy web server normally shows for this counter. So if activities regarding memory-mapped files are excluded, if I have ample amounts of memory, should I really see this down close to 0? When should I get suspicious that I might need additional RAM and/or start looking for application memory leaks?

• Extended URL php

  I have a problem with the extended url here in php. I'm not even sure if it's called extended url. I was wondering if someone can help me since i'm no good with PHP. I have a php page the careers.php it shows the career listing but when I click on Learn more link it goes to http(dot)localhost/houseofpatel/jobs/4/Career-4 but it outputs an "Object not found". Does xampplite have something to do with this? or is it just the codes? I also have the breadcrumb.php in here. • 401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied error from web app running in IIS 7.5 using App Pool Identity

  I have an ASP.NET app on a Windows 2008 server, IIS 7.5. When I try to access web site, I get a login popup. If I click "cancel" I get a 401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials. The app is using Windows authentication (anonymous is disabled). The app has it's own app pool, running under the App Pool Identity. If I change the app pool to run under the NetworkService account, my website functions just fine. I'm guessing that this is just a permissions issue, but can't figure out what permissions I need to change. I gave the App Pool Identity permissions on the physical directory of the app, but that didn't solve the problem.

• Where is the Mac Divx Web Player 7 cache folder?

  Until recently, I was using Divx web player 1.4.2 because it seemed to be the least buggy. It was saving files in users/xxxxxx/movies/divx movies/temporary added files and was deleting them when the cache limit was reached. Now with 7, it's saving them alright cause I can watch my HD space go down, but I can't find them. And it's not respecting the cache limit size (mine is 4GB). The only way to clear up this space is a restart of the Mac. I'm running 10.6.8and Chrome. I've looked everywhere for the folder manually. Where is it?
