• ReportBuilder.application fails on my PC - but works on localhost

  We're running SQL 2005 on Win2K3 server and are using SSRS. Here's the situation: I can run Report Builder from localhost My coworker can run Report Builder on his Vista computer Another coworker can run Report Builder on his XP SP3 computer (IE7) I can NOT run Report Builder on my XP SP3 computer (IE7) I'm told that it could be anything from an errant registry entry to a group policy problem. Here is what I've tried: Put the site into "Trusted Sites" with "low" security re-install .NET create a new local user account and attempt to run it The results? Every single time, I get a dialog box: "Application cannot be started.   I have a postgresql db and a C# application to access it. I'm having a strange error with values I return from a NpgsqlDataAdapter.Fill command into a DataSet. However, if instead of doing a select on all (*) if I try to name individual columns to return from the query I get the information I asked for, but rather than being split up into seperate entries in the data table I get a string in the first index of the data table that looked something like: "(0,5,false,Bob Smith,7)" And the data is correct, I would be expecting 0, then 5, then a boolean, then some text etc. But I would (obviously) prefer it to not be returned as just one big string. Anyone know why if I do a select on * I get a datatable as expected, but if I do a select on specific columns I get a data table with one entry that is the string of the values I'm asking for?

• Can't export release build / compile for Adobe Air 1.0

  I opened up an old project in Flex Builder 3 which runs on Adobe AIR 1.0. I believe it was originally written in Flex Builder 2. When I try to run the air app, nothing happens. When I try to export a release build, I get this error: If I change the main-app.xml file to use the 1.5 version of the namespace, it builds fine. Unfortunately, the clients environment runs on 1.0. Ideas?

When we unref builder pointer does it destroys all the screens/widgets the builder had created? if( builder_ptr ) g_object_unref(G_OBJECT(builder_ptr)); Suppose we have created one screen using Glade/XML with some 2-3 top_level windows in it gtk_builder_add_from_file(builder_ptr, "Test.glade", &error ) and generated GtkBuilder pointer (as above) so after deleting this pointer does it deletes created Windows or do we need to manually delete these windows? • DataGridView cells not editable when using an outside thread call

  Hi, I'm not able to edit my datagridview cells when a number of identical calls takes place on another thread. Here's the situation: Dataset table is created in the main window The program receives in files and processes them on a background thread in class TorrentBuilder : BackgroundWorker creating an array objects of another class Torrent My program receives those objects from the BW result and adds them into the dataset The above happens either on my main window thread or in another thread: I have a separate thread watching a folder for files to come in, and when they do come in, they proceed to call TorrentBuilder.RunWorkerAsynch() from that thread, receive the result, and call an outside class that adds the Torrent objects into the table. When the files are received by the latter thread, the datagridview isn't editable. All of the values come up properly into the datagridview, but when I click on a cell to edit it: I can write letters and everything, but when I click out of it, it immediately reverts back to its original value. If I restart the program, I can edit the same cells just fine. If the values are freshly added from the main window thread, I can edit the cells just fine. The outside thread is called from my main window thread, and sits there in the background. I don't believe it to be ReadOnly because I would have gotten an exception.   Hello - I've been struggling for a while with a problem with ActiveSync, it is giving 401.2 errors when trying to access the mailboxes. Oddly enough, clients can get to the calendars just fine. I've tried from an Android device as well as the Exchange remote connectivity troubleshooter, same error both times. Here is the configuration: Connectivity through ISA 2006 Exchange 2007 on Windows 2008 Basic authentication is on ISA is passing through all authentication directly to the Exchange server The user IS allowed to get to ActiveSync in their Exchange mailbox settings I have tried the following, without success: * Making SSL not required * Enabling Windows Integrated and Digest authentication Here is an example of the errors in the IIS log: OPTIONS /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync/default.eas - 443 - 192.168.32.18 TestActiveSyncConnectivity 401 2 5 0 Here is what I am seeing in my trace log: ModuleName IIS Web Core Notification 2 HttpStatus 401 HttpReason Unauthorized HttpSubStatus 2 ErrorCode 2147942405 ConfigExceptionInfo Notification AUTHENTICATE_REQUEST ErrorCode Access is denied. • Using a TS-Gateway through a Apache reverse-proxy

  Hey all, I've set up a Windows 2008 server as Terminal Services Gateway, to funnel the RDP access to a bunch of backend servers. However, since I only need to publish SSL to the "outside", I've tried to publish it with our reverse proxy, but it's not working. The Apache box is timing out, while trying to reach the tsgateway. However, if I ping it straight from the same box, there is connectivity. I've read a bit, and with ISA 2006 you can publish TS-Gateways on the internet, so I was wondering it anyone ever got it working with an Apache reverse proxy instead :)

• HP Loadrunner failed to start .NET Diagnostics probe

  I've got a HP Diagnostics Server (commander mode) installed in the same PC where HP Loadrunner is. I've installed the .NET probe in the web application server. When I navigate localhost:2006/registrar/health I can see the CommandingServer and three instances of the probe, all in green and connected. Then, when in LoadRunner controller I enable Diagnostics, select the probe and start the scenario, I get the next error: Failed to start J2EE/.NET Diagnostics run. (Facade error: Unable to send 'startRun' notification to probe MyAgent.1347615505142149) I've looked at the firewall logs and the rule that lets the server send commands to the probes has been matched three times. What else could it be what doesn't let me start the probe?

• ISA Proxy - HTTPS Traffic

  We have an ISA 2006 setup for our organisations proxy. It's been working well for the last few months just blocking everything except a few allowed web site and web applications. We need to allow some people to access a web application hosted off site via HTTPS. I've tried and tried, wasted 3 days on it and have given in. Can someone please tell me how on earth this is achieved? Looking at the Monitor, it looks like it passes one rule, then is blocked by the default rule. I just don't unterstand it well enough to take it on further.

• Exchange 2003 Outlook Anywhere - Changed certificate, not working

  I have a single Exchange 2003 installation which for the past 2 years has been set up for Outlook Anywhere access by means of a self-signed certificate. Just this past week I updated that certificate to a Go Daddy wildcard certificate to allow for use of our web services over https. I've updated the web listener on our ISA 2006 firewall and I can successfully use our services over https. However, my Outlook Anywhere access is now not functioning. I've installed the new wildcard certificate on my XP notebook into the Trusted Root Certificate Store but I keep getting prompted that the password is incorrect. To make things even more confusing I also have OWA set up and this works fine with the new certificate. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

• Can't edit an account in MySQL Administrator on OS X

  I'm running MySQL 5.5.20 on OS X 10.6.8. Using MySQL Administrator 1.2.12 (the latest) I am unable to edit any accounts. After successfully connecting to the database in MySQL Administrator, I go the Account tab, expand a user, and it just says "Loading...". It will stay on "Loading..." indefinitely. The symptoms are almost identical to user's experience and this MySQL bug from 2006, which has since been closed (fixed?). If I create a user and grant permissions to a schema, I get the error "Could not save changes to the use", which came up in 2005 as a bug (now closed). How do I edit MySQL accounts using MySQL Administrator?
