    Hi, I want to develop an application that uses QtWebKit and JQuery. What I need to know is, is there any difference between reading JQuery from a file and evaluateJavaScript it, or embedding it as a script tag within the "page" that is displayed within the widget? If there is a difference, I am curious if anyone could explain why it would be. As far as I understood it, evaluateJavaScript() would feed the script parameter to the JavaScript interpreter, which interprets it in the current page's context. Thanks.

However, after reading about the script tag at w3schools and quirksmode, it seems doing so could have some unforeseen consequences.     Hello! I'm investigating Zend Framework and currently stucked in counting resulting rows of sql query... Every method I try (from documentation and some blogposts and tutorials) returns an error (like Call to undefined function) or simply gives the incorrect value. I've tried this: $checkquery = $db->select() ->from('users', 'COUNT(*)') ->where('login = ?', $login) ->where('password = ?', $password) ->query(); $checkrequest=fetchRow($checkquery)->num; ...then this one: $checkquery = $db->select() ->from('users', '*') ->where('login = ?', $login) ->where('password = ?', $password) ->query(); $checkrequest=count($checkquery->fetchAll()); and even: $checkquery = $db->select() ->from('users', '*') ->where('login = ?', $login) ->where('password = ?', $password) ->query(); $checkrequest=$checkquery->fetchAll()->num; Also rowCount() and count(fetchRow()) and count(fetchAll()->toArray()). But always I got an error message or duplicate inserts in db in further insert function. So what is the correct way to do the resulting row calculation in select clause in Zend Framework 1.9 (I use this one) ?

I cannot simply replicate the aforementioned query, because two or more employees from the same company might be involved in the same trade. This query should do the trick: SELECT SUM(profit) FROM trades JOIN (SELECT DISTINCT tradeID FROM trades WHERE trades.corporationID = 1) ... unfortunately, DISTINCT JOINs seem crazy ineffective. Is there any alternative I can use to determine how much revenue a corporation has, taking into account that a corporation might be listed several times with the same tradeID?

    Hello all, I have the following piece of code, executing a pretty simple MySQL query: $netnestquery = 'SELECT (`nested`+1) AS `nest` FROM `ipspace6` WHERE `id`<='.$adaddr.' AND `type`="broadcast") ORDER BY `id`,`subnet` DESC LIMIT 1'; $netnestresults = mysql_query($netnestquery); $netnestrow = mysql_fetch_array($netnestresults); $nestlvl = $netnestrow['nest']; echo '<br> NESTQ: '.$netnestquery; Now, when I execute this in PHP, I get no results; an empty query. However, when I copy and paste the query echoed by my code (for debug purposes) into the mysql command line, I get a valid result: mysql> SELECT (`nested` + 1) AS `nest` FROM `ipspace6` WHERE `id`<=50552019054038629283648959286463168512 AND `subnet`<=36 AND `type`='net' AND `addr` NOT IN (SELECT `id` FROM `ipspace6` WHERE `addr`<50552019054038629283648959286463168512 AND `type`='broadcast') ORDER BY `id`,`subnet` DESC LIMIT 1; +------+ | nest | +------+ | 1 | +------+ 1 row in set (0.00 sec) Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? I can't put quotes around my variables, as then MySQL will try to evaluate the variable as a string, when it is, in fact, a very large decimal. I think I might just be making a stupid mistake somewhere, but I can't tell where.

I know that selectedIndex is the key to my problem, but I'm clueless of how to use it or how to use it on an if else statement. The script above is just one of my trials, I actually use the script above to perform the same task. <select onchange="this.style.backgroundColor=this.options[this.selectedIndex].style.backgroundColor; this.style.color=this.options[this.selectedIndex].style.color">

With SQL I would do something like: select id, count(*) from taggings group by taggable_id; But I am not seeing how to do this with the plugin. Thanks!
