  • How do I redirect to another page with ASP.NET?

    - by Sanctus2099
    I know it's a simple question but I really can't find anything on Google. Sorry if I'm not searching right. I created 2 pages and in the first one I have a button. What should I write in the C# code to change to redirect me on the second page? I usually know my way around C# but I'm totally new in ASP.

  • TextImageRelation Implementation

    - by BobPelotas
    Hello, Does anyone know any information on implementing the TextImageRelation property on a button? Since it is impossible to paint a custom background without having to also paint the foreground, I need at least an idea of how the algorithm works. I can't find any info on it. Thanks

  • Can I update window.location.hash without having the web page scroll?

    - by Jonathon Watney
    Using JavaScript, is there a way to update window.location.hash without scrolling the web page? I have clickable title elements that toggle the visibility of a div directly beneath them. I want the /foo#bar in the history when clicking titles but don't want the page scrolling about. So when navigating away from /foo#bar I'll be able to use the back button and have the div whose ID is in window.location.hash be visible upon return. Is this behavior possible?

  • How to set the size of multiple buttons on content

    - by rob
    I am using three buttons along with the list view.These three buttons are added to the layout using the TableLayout and TableRow.The first button takes more space on content, so the other two becomes smaller in size than first one. When the application runs, it doesn't even show the two other buttons. How can I make the size of three buttons equal and display all of them when application runs?Give me some example please. • Act on click of a button on the Nav Bar for moreNavigationController -- Can't pushviewcontroller

    - by Jann
    Okay, here is my issue: My app has a display of categories in the tab bar at the bottom of the iPhoneOS screen. This only allows 5 categories before it presents the MORE button. I have over 25 (please do not answer this by saying: "Rethink your application...etc" -- that was rudely said before. They are food, drink, etc categories and cannot be changed). I want to allow the user to put their favorites on the home page. The Apple moreNavigationController editing system only allows 20 tab bar items to be rearranged due to space constraints on the editing page. This is not enough so i need to implement my own Editing screen. I set the rightBarButtonItem to nil and created my own. Using NSLog, i can see the "click" happens when clicking the EDIT button, but I cannot push using pushViewController. Nothing happens. I think it has something to do with the navigationController I am addressing...but i am not sure. ps: This all happens in my App Delegate which DOES act as both UITabBarControllerDelegate & UINavigationControllerDelegate. I tried to do the following: - ( void )navigationController:( UINavigationController * )navigationController_local willShowViewController:( UIViewController * )viewController_local animated:( BOOL )animated { UIViewController * currentController = navigationController_local.visibleViewController; UIViewController * nextController = viewController_local; // Do whatever here. NSLog(@"Nav contoller willShowViewController fired\n'%@'\n'%@'\nThere are currently: %d views on the stack\n",currentController,nextController,[self.navigationController.viewControllers count]); if ( [nextController isKindOfClass:NSClassFromString(@"UIMoreListController")]) { UINavigationBar *morenavbar = navigationController_local.navigationBar; UINavigationItem *morenavitem = morenavbar.topItem; morenavitem.rightBarButtonItem = nil; NSLog(@"Is a UIMoreListController\n"); UIBarButtonItem *editTabBarButton = [[UIBarButtonItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Edit" style:UIBarButtonItemStylePlain target:self action:@selector(editTabBar:)]; morenavitem.rightBarButtonItem = editTabBarButton; [editTabBarButton release]; } } This works to place an EDIT button at the top right of the screen -- mimicking Apple's look and feel... but when that button is clicked, you cannot exit the darn moreNavigationController. I have tried many things. UIAlerts work, etc...but pushing (or popping -- even popping to root view) a view controller on the stack does not. - (void) editTabBar:(id)sender { NSLog(@"clicked edit tabbar\n"); NSLog(@"Total count of controllers: %d\n",[self.navigationController.viewControllers count]); TabBarViewController *tabBarViewController2 = [[TabBarViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"TabBarView" bundle:nil]; tabBarViewController2.navigationItem.title=@"Edit Tab Bar"; [self.navigationController pushViewController:tabBarViewController2 animated:YES]; [tabBarViewController2 release]; NSLog(@"finished edit tabbar\n"); } If you click the edit button on the moreNavigationController's display page, you get the log entries like expected AND (this is strange) the views on the stack climbs -- but no page change occurs. I marked it down to not using the correct navigation controller...but I am lost on how to find which one TO use. this is a weird one too. In the edit function if i just do this: - (void) editTabBar:(id)sender { self.tabBarController.selectedIndex = 0; } It DOES take me home (to tabbarcontroller 0) BUT doing this: - (void) editTabBar:(id)sender { [self.navigationController popToRootViewControllerAnimated:YES]; } does not work. Does the moreNavigationController have some special quality that screws with the rest of the system?

  • ASP.NET: Button in user control not posting back

    - by Ronnie Overby
    I have a simple user control with this code: <%@ Control Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Pager.ascx.cs" Inherits="Pager" %> <table style="width: 100%;"> <tr> <td runat="server" id="PageControls"> <!-- This button has the problem: --> <asp:Button ID="btnPrevPage" runat="server" Text="&larr;" OnClick="btnPrevPage_Click" /> Page <asp:DropDownList runat="server" ID="ddlPage" AutoPostBack="true" OnSelectedIndexChanged="ddlPage_SelectedIndexChanged" /> of <asp:Label ID="lblTotalPages" runat="server" /> <!-- This button has the problem: --> <asp:Button ID="btnNextPage" runat="server" Text="&rarr;" OnClick="btnNextPage_Click" /> </td> <td align="right" runat="server" id="itemsPerPageControls"> <asp:Literal ID="perPageText1" runat="server" /> <asp:DropDownList ID="ddlItemsPerPage" runat="server" AutoPostBack="true" OnSelectedIndexChanged="ddlItemsPerPage_SelectedIndexChanged" /> <asp:Literal ID="perPageText2" runat="server" /> </td> </tr> </table> As you can see, the 2 buttons are wired to click events, which are defined correctly in the code-behind. Now, here is how I include an instance of the control on my page: <uc:Pager ID="Pager1" runat="server" TotalRecords="100" DisplayItemsPerPage="true" ItemsPerPageChoices="10,25,50,100" ItemsPerPageFormatString="Sessions/Page: {0}" PageSize="25" OnPageChanged="PageChanged" OnPageSizeChanged="PageChanged" /> I noticed though, that the 2 buttons in my user control weren't causing a post back when clicked. The drop down list does cause postback, though. Here is the rendered HTML: <table style="width: 100%;"> <tr> <td id="ctl00_MainContent_Pager1_PageControls" align="left"> <!-- No onclick event! Why? --> <input type="submit" name="ctl00$MainContent$Pager1$btnPrevPage" value="?" id="ctl00_MainContent_Pager1_btnPrevPage" /> Page <select name="ctl00$MainContent$Pager1$ddlPage" onchange="javascript:setTimeout('__doPostBack(\'ctl00$MainContent$Pager1$ddlPage\',\'\')', 0)" id="ctl00_MainContent_Pager1_ddlPage"> <option value="1">1</option> <option selected="selected" value="2">2</option> <option value="3">3</option> <option value="4">4</option> <option value="5">5</option> <option value="6">6</option> </select> of <span id="ctl00_MainContent_Pager1_lblTotalPages">6</span> <!-- No onclick event! Why? --> <input type="submit" name="ctl00$MainContent$Pager1$btnNextPage" value="?" id="ctl00_MainContent_Pager1_btnNextPage" /> </td> <td id="ctl00_MainContent_Pager1_itemsPerPageControls" align="right"> Sessions/Page: <select name="ctl00$MainContent$Pager1$ddlItemsPerPage" onchange="javascript:setTimeout('__doPostBack(\'ctl00$MainContent$Pager1$ddlItemsPerPage\',\'\')', 0)" id="ctl00_MainContent_Pager1_ddlItemsPerPage"> <option value="10">10</option> <option selected="selected" value="25">25</option> <option value="50">50</option> <option value="100">100</option> </select> </td> </tr> </table> And, as you can see, there is no onclick attribute being rendered in the button's input elements. Why not?

  • ListView with button and check mark?

    - by jgelderloos
    So I have looked through a lot of other answers but have not been able to get my app to work how I want it. I basically want the list view that has the text and check mark to the right, but then an addition button to the left. Right now my list view shows up but the check image is never changed. • JQuery help, How to Hide all button in JQuery

    - by user303518
    Hi guys, I'm trying to make a request/reply section in my project. I want to achieve these functionality in that code (that I'm not able to implement; so guys please help me out): 1 When user click on reply button; other reply area(text-area +button) should be hide (means at a time only one reply area should be visible to the user). 2 when user click on reply button text-area will focus and page will slide down (suppose user reply 10 comment focus will automatically set to the 10 number text area and page will slide down to that position accordingly). Here is my so far code guys: //method call on the click of reply link. function linkReply_Clicked(issueId) { Id = issueId; textId = "text_" + issueId + count; btnReply = "btnReply_" + issueId + count; btnCancel = "btnCancel_" + issueId + count; var textareasArray = document.getElementsByTagName("textarea"); var btnArray = document.getElementsByTagName("input"); for (i = 0; i < textareasArray.length; i++) { textareasArray[i].style.display = "none"; btnArray[i].style.display = "none"; } var str = "<table cellpadding='3' cellspacing='0' width='58%'>"; str += "<tr><td valign='top' align='left'>"; str += "<textarea id=" + textId + " rows='5' cols='60'></textarea>"; str += "</td></tr>"; str += "<tr><td valign='top' align='right'>"; str += "<input id=" + btnReply + " type='button' onclick='btnReply_Clicked(Id ,textId)' value='Reply' />&nbsp;"; str += "<input id=" + btnCancel + " type='button' onclick='btnCancel_Clicked(Id ,textId)' value='Cancel' />&nbsp;"; str += "</td></tr>"; str += "</table>"; document.getElementById("divOuter_" + issueId).innerHTML = str; $("#" + textId + "").focus(); } // submit user reply and try to hide that reply area. function btnReply_Clicked(issueId, textID) { var comment = document.getElementById(textID).value; if (comment != '') { $.getJSON("/Issue/SaveComment", { IssueId: issueId, Comment: comment }, null); $("#text_" + issueId + count).hide(); $("#btnReply_" + issueId + count).hide(); $("#btnCancel_" + issueId + count).hide(); document.getElementById(textID).value = ''; count = count + 1; } } // cancel user reply and try to hide that reply area. function btnCancel_Clicked(issueId, textId) { $("#text_" + issueId + count).hide(); $("#btnReply_" + issueId + count).hide(); $("#btnCancel_" + issueId + count).hide(); document.getElementById(textId).value = ''; count = count + 1; }

  • Very simple shopping cart, remove button

    - by Kynian
    Im writing sales software that will be walking through a set of pages and on certain pages there are items listed to sell and when you click buy it basically just passes a hidden variable to the next page to be set as a session variable, and then when you get to the end it call gets reported to a database. However my employer wanted me to include a shopping cart, and this shopping cart should display the item name, sku, and price of whatever you're buying, as well as a remove button so the person doing the script doesnt need to go back through the entire thing to remove one item. At the moment I have the cart set to display everything, which was fairly simple. but I cant figure out how to get the remove button to work. Here is the code for the shopping cart: $total = 0; //TEST CODE: $_SESSION['itemname-addon'] = "Test addon"; $_SESSION ['price-addon'] = 10.00; $_SESSION ['sku-addon'] = "1234h"; $_SESSION['itemname-addon1'] = "Test addon1"; $_SESSION ['price-addon1'] = 99.90; $_SESSION ['sku-addon1'] = "1111"; $_SESSION['itemname-addon2'] = "Test addon2"; $_SESSION ['price-addon2'] = 19.10; $_SESSION ['sku-addon2'] = "123"; //end test code $items = Array ( "0"=> Array ( "name" => $_SESSION['itemname-mo'], "price" => $_SESSION ['price-mo'], "sku" => $_SESSION ['sku-mo'] ), "1" => Array ( "name" => $_SESSION['itemname-addon'], "price" => $_SESSION ['price-addon'], "sku" => $_SESSION ['sku-addon'] ), "2" => Array ( "name" => $_SESSION['itemname-addon1'], "price" => $_SESSION ['price-addon1'], "sku" => $_SESSION ['sku-addon1'] ), "3" => Array ( "name" => $_SESSION['itemname-addon2'], "price" => $_SESSION ['price-addon2'], "sku" => $_SESSION ['sku-addon2'] ) ); $a_length = count($items); for($x = 0; $x<$a_length; $x++){ $total +=$items[$x]['price']; } $formattedtotal = number_format($total,2,'.',''); for($i = 0; $i < $a_length; $i++){ $name = $items[$i]['name']; $price = $items[$i]['price']; $sku = $items[$i]['sku']; displaycart($name,$price,$sku); } echo "<br /> <b>Sub Total:</b> $$formattedtotal"; function displaycart($name,$price,$sku){ if($name != null || $price != null || $sku != null){ if ($name == "no sale" || $price == "no sale" || $sku == "no sale"){ echo ""; } else{ $formattedprice = number_format($price,2,'.',''); echo "$name: $$formattedprice ($sku)"; echo "<form action=\"\" method=\"post\">"; echo "<button type=\"submit\" />Remove</button><br />"; echo "</form>"; } } } So at this point Im not sure where to go from here for the remove button. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • create previous next button for iframe pages

    - by Resu
    This topic may have lots of code out there, BUT I seem to be looking for a variation that isn't based on history, is it possible... So I have this code... <script type="text/javascript"> var pages=new Array(); pages[0]="listItem1.html"; pages[1]="listItem2.html"; pages[2]="listItem3.html"; pages[3]="listItem4.html"; pages[4]="listItem5.html"; var i=0; var end=pages.length; end--; function changeSrc(operation) { if (operation=="next") { if (i==end) { document.getElementById('the_iframe').src=pages[end]; i=0;} else { document.getElementById('the_iframe').src=pages[i]; i++;}} if (operation=="back") { if (i==0) { document.getElementById('the_iframe').src=pages[0]; i=end;} else { document.getElementById('the_iframe').src=pages[i]; i--;}}} </script> </head> <body> <ul id="menu" role="group"> <li><a href="listItem1.html" target="ifrm" role="treeitem">Welcome</a> <ul> <li><a href="listItem2.html" target="ifrm" role="treeitem">Ease of Access Center</a></li> </ul> </li> <li><a href="listItem3.html" target="ifrm">Getting Started</a> <ul> <li><a href="listItem4.html" target="ifrm">Considerations</a></li> <li><a href="listItem5.html" target="ifrm">Changing Perspective</a></li> </ul> </li> </ul> <iframe id="the_iframe" scrolling="no" src="listItem1.htm" name="ifrm" style="width:540px;></iframe> <input type="button" onClick="changeSrc('back');" value="Back" /> <input type="button" onClick="changeSrc('next');" value="Next" /> and if I click on the next or prev button, it does move somewhere,but... let's say my iframe is showing listItem2, then I click on listItem4 in the menu (there is a tree menu involved), then I want to go to listItem3 and I hit the back button...instead of going to listItem3, it goes to listItem2 (or someplace that is not back a page from 4 to 3). It appears that the buttons are navigating based on history?...but I just want a straight forward or backward movement...I don't want my buttons to have this browser-type functionality...If I'm on listItem4 and hit the next button, I want it to go to listItem5. Many Thanks For Any Help!

  • WPF Custom ListBox as Buttons Click not firing

  • Facebook Like-Button - hide count?

    - by piquadrat
