  • How can I generate a FindBugs report that shows me the bugs removed between two revisions in the bug

    I am attempting to execute a combination of the FindBugs commands filterBugs and convertXmlToText, against a bug database that I created, to generate a report that shows me the all of the bugs removed between two revisions of the system that I am working on. Unfortunately, the resulting report does not show any bug details. It appears that the convertXmlToText throws away all bugs that are dead (aka inactive)... the exact set of bugs that I'd like to see.   • Re-Add tabBarController's view into window and the device is in landscape mode

    Hello, I have an app that is a tabBarController based app. I have 4 tabs on it and one of these is for logging in/out in my app. The main ideea is that when I logout, I release the tabBarController (this will release the all 4 view controllers too - I have done this becuse I want to refersh all the views after logging out to look just like the first time).After this, I alloc it again and add the view controllers aagin,set the tabBarItem's titles,etc.This work ok. The problem is when I am in landscape mode;my logout view is painted to fit the landscape area,but after disconnect(now I releasse and alloc again the tabbarController) the view is painted in portrait mode but my device is in lanscape.   • How to make an AJAX call immediately on document loading

    I want to execute an ajax call as soon as a document is loaded. What I am doing is loading a string that contains data that I will use for an autocomplete feature. This is what I have done, but it is not calling the servlet. I have removed the calls to the various JS scripts to make it clearer.     Hi all, I am having an issue when using jeditable to edit a cell in a table. The project is the MVC 2 web application and the table has been put on the standard about page. How do i tell the script to call a specific method in the controller ? because it is currently just loading the entire page into the cell.   • Hide Image Title in Slimbox

    My issue is a lot like this solved thread, except I'm using Slimbox 2: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/940994/hide-image-title-tool-tip-popup-on-mouse-rollover-or-hover When you hover over an image, the "Title" attribute pops up. I need HTML in my image title in Slimbox. So, of course, when you're hovering, the "Title" attribute shows all the HTML code. The code works perfectly when you're viewing the image in Slimbox so no problems there. I just need the Title attribute to be hidden/modified not to show this HTML code. I tried to change Q.title in slimbox.js to something else (like captionname). Then changed the HTML to call for: <a href="images/team/large.jpg" title="Joe Smith" captionname="URL" rel="lightbox-team"><img src="images/team/small.jpg" class ="headline" border="1" hspace="2" /></a> "Joe Smith" displays as the Title but when you view the image in Slimbox, captionname does not come up at all and neither does the Title. It's just blank where it should be. What do I need to modify in slimbox2.js to make this work?

    While editing HTML/ASPX/ASCX etc; whenever I select an html tag, visual studio highlights the entire tag in black and bold; the black I'm not so fussed about but the bold changes the length of the line and really messes up the formatting. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks, Chris

  • Javascript onclick() event bubbling - working or not?

    I have a table in which the table row tag is decorated with an onclick() handler. If the row is clicked anywhere, it will load another page. In one of the elements on the row, is an anchor tag which also leads to another page. The desired behavior is that if they click on the link, "delete.html" is loaded. If they click anywhere else in the row, "edit.html" is loaded. The problem is that sometimes (according to users) both the link and the onclick() are fired at once, leading to a problem in the back end code. They swear they are not double-clicking. I don't know enough about Javascript event bubbling, handling and whatever to even know where to start with this bizarre problem, so I'm asking for help. Here's a fragment of the rendered page, showing the row with the embedded link and associated script tag.   • TabBar / "More View Controller" - Possible to have icons in colors other than black?

    Hi, Is it possible to have the icons in a TabBar and / or the "More navigation controller" be in colors other than grey and black? I tried changing the color of the icon I set for the view controller using UITabBarItem's - (id)initWithTitle:(NSString *)title image:(UIImage *)image tag:(NSInteger)tag method. My client thinks the interface is too dark and want's to brighten it up with some colorful icons... Thanks!

Is there a way to make it render the sub-template for each iteration? Edit: stranger yet, if caching is enabled for the sub-template, it renders for each iteration—but, of course, the arguments on the embed tag aren't passed to subsequent iterations, as the sub-template is cached.

    Hello everyone, Im trying to use the DOM in PHP to do a pretty specific job and Ive got no luck so far, the objective is to take a string of HTML from a Wordpress blog post (from the DB, this is a wordpress plugin). And then out of that HTML replace <div id="do_not_edit">old content</div>" with <div id="do_not_edit">new content</div>" in its place. Saving anything above and below that div in its structure. Then save the HTML back into the DB, should be simple really, I have read that a regex wouldnt be the right way to go here so Ive turned to the DOM instead. The problem is I just cant get it to work, cant extract the div or anything. Help me!!     I looked around and decided to use a CSS approach rather than rely on JS... I figure the kind of corporate users stuck with IE6 might also have JS disabled by IT departments. I commented out all the rest of the page so it is literally that one and still no luck. I removed the default.css stylesheet and still no difference. EDIT: I now got it working, using the .htc method, loading that file in a conditional IE6 test block. It turned out the problem I was having was that Windows 7 had 'locked' the file (I don't even know what this means) and this blocked IE from loading/using it.

    I'd like to hear which schema.org itemtype others would recommend using or have used in the case of completing a retail brand's company homepage microdata. Take for example TOMS's shoes: Example #1 - Using /Corporation as the high-level itemtype one can include a lot of great /Organization microdata, but nothing about the retail store. <html itemscope='itemscope' itemtype="http://schema.org/Website> <head></head> <body itemscope='itemscope' itemtype="http://schema.org/Corporation> various microdata here probably including Product microdata </body> </html> NOTE: the only schema.org property specific to /Corporation is tickerSymbol & TOMS doesn't have one. Example #2 - This code would work if TOMS started their own channel of physical retail stores & each location had it's own homepage. However, for TOMS's.com, although accurate schematically & more descriptive at the face, this is incorrect microdata markup for TOMS.com, because /ShoeStore derives from /LocalBusiness - which must represent a physical place. <html itemscope='itemscope' itemtype='http://schema.org/Website'> <head></head> <body itemscope='itemscope' itemtype='http://schema.org/ShoeStore'> a whole bunch of jabber here </body> </html> NOTE: Since TOMS is virtual & thus can't be a /Store this means you lose really cool properties like 'currenciesAccepted', 'paymentAccepted' & 'priceRange'. Is this just a 'sit and wait' situation until more schemas are approved for 'virtual places' or is there a validation-passing way to get the best of both worlds?

    I'm very new to MVC and I'm trying to get a new site set up using it. For SEO reasons we need to make the url of a page something like "Recruiter/4359/John_Smith" or basically {controller}/{id}/{name}. I have that working when I create the url in the code behind like so... //r is a recruiter object that is part of the results for the view r.Summary = searchResult.Summary + "... &lt;a href=\"/Recruiter/" + r.Id + "/" + r.FirstName + "_" + r.LastName + "\"&gt;Read More&lt;/a&gt;" But when I am using the collection of results from a search in my view and iterating through them I am trying to create another link to the same page doing something like <%=Html.ActionLink<RecruiterController>(x => x.Detail((int)r.Id), r.RecruiterName)%> but that doesn't work. When I use that code in the view it gives me a url in the form of /Recruiter/Detail/4359 I was told by a coworker that I should use the Html.ActionLink to create the link in both the view and the controller so that if the route changes in the future it will automatically work. Unfortunately he wasn't sure how to do that in this case. So, my problems are... How can I make the Html.ActionLink work in the view to create a url like I need (like r.Summary above)? How do I use the Html.ActionLink in a controller instead of hardcoding the link like I have above?

    Hi all, I am using CakePHP 1.26 and CDN JQuery in this URL: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js In a HTML web page, I have these lines of code: $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "http://mywebsite.com/controllers/avail/"+curl, success: function(data) { alert(data);} }); and in the PHP page, I got another few lines of code: function avail($uname){ $result1=$this->Site1->User->findByusername($uname); if($result1){ return 1; } else{ return 0; } } As you see, the Avail function will return either zero or one.
