    Hello. Vierd behaviar when passing values to and from 2nd form. Image imgToCopy = Image.FromFile(Path.Combine(Environment.CurrentDirectory, FileName + ".jpg")); Clipboard.SetImage(imgToCopy); Now my image is in clipboard and i am able to show it in picturebox on other form using below code : mypicturebox.Image = Clipboard.GetImage(); Now the the problem is that i want to show it in default imageviewer of that system. so for that i think using "System.Diagnostics.Process.Start" we can do that.. but i dont know, how to find default imageviewer and how to set clipboard's image in that ... please help me out... if i find solution than thats good otherwise i am thinking to save that file from clipboard to harddisk and then view it in window's default imageviewer... please help me to resolve my problem.. i am using c#.net

    I want to provide simple href links to my PDF forms that reside in my Forms folder. I have a created a simple Index.aspx and FormController Index action that simple iterates through the list of PDF files using my FormMetaData.xml file. The links get created just fine but when you click on the links I get a 404 exception. That looks like this: Server Error in '/' Application. The resource cannot be found. Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly. Requested URL: /Forms/ccindteamgolfform.pdf Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.4927; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.4927 This seems like this should open up a new browser window with the PDF in it but perhaps I am making a bad assumption. The PDF content files have Build Action of Content and Copy to Output set to Copy Always. Here is an example output html for the link from my Index.aspx page: <span class="form"> <a href="Forms/ccindteamgolfform.pdf" target="_blank"> <span class="description">Entry Form</span></span> I must be missing something because this does not work. Do I need to add a MapRoute for these documents? Or am I missing something else with the routing? This seems like it should not be that difficult.

Is there a GWT library that facilitates the encoding and decoding of arbitrary parameters into the URL fragment? I'm looking for something analogous to the Servlet API's getParameter() method, but for client-side URL parameters.

    The setup = I have this class, Transcript: class Transcript(models.Model): body = models.TextField('Body') doPagination = models.BooleanField('Paginate') numPages = models.PositiveIntegerField('Number of Pages') and this class, TranscriptPages(models.Model): class TranscriptPages(models.Model): transcript = models.ForeignKey(Transcript) order = models.PositiveIntegerField('Order') content = models.TextField('Page Content', null=True, blank=True) The Admin behavior I’m trying to create is to let a user populate Transcript.body with the entire contents of a long document and, if they set Transcript.doPagination = True and save the Transcript admin, I will automatically split the body into n Transcript pages. In the admin, TranscriptPages is a StackedInline of the Transcript Admin. To do this I’m overridding Transcript’s save method: def save(self): if self.doPagination: #do stuff super(Transcript, self).save() else: super(Transcript, self).save() The problem = When Transcript.doPagination is True, I want to manually delete all of the TranscriptPages that reference this Transcript so I can then create them again from scratch. So, I thought this would work: #do stuff TranscriptPages.objects.filter(transcript__id=self.id).delete() super(Transcript, self).save() but when I try I get this error: Exception Type: ValidationError Exception Value: [u'Select a valid choice.     Hi, I'm trying to implement a JQuery script to process some areas inside an image map. I'm using $('area[shape="poly"]') as a selector to obtain the areas I'm interested in. It is working fine in IE8 and Firefox, but it is not selecting the elements in IE6 or IE7. This is a test page that shows this problem.     Hi, I'm building an application in ruby using the sinatra framework and am having trouble with rendering some fbml elements. I'm currently trying to render an fb:multi-friend-selector so the user can select which friends they want to invite. However, when I write the following in my code: <fb:fbml> <fb:request-form action="/inviteFriends" method="POST" invite="true" type="MY APP" content="Invite Friends" > <fb:multi-friend-selector showborder="false" actiontext="Invite your friends to use YOUR APP NAME."> </fb:request-form> </fb:fbml> Nothing renders with the text above. I've included the regular facebook xsds for the taglibs in my html tag and have tested fbml on the page using the following code: <fb:name useyou="false" uid="USER_ID" linked="false"/> This code works correctly and displays the user's name. I've tried a simple example like that on http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Fb:random but again nothing is rendered in the browser.     Hello community, I have trouble editing a databound bindinglist. Let me illustrate it with the following: Say I have the Person class: public Class Person{ private string m_firstname; private string m_lastname; public string FirstName{get;set;} public string LastName{get;set;} public Person{ ... } } I then have a containing class called Population: public class Population{ private BindingList<Person> m_lstPerson = new BindingList<Person>(); private string m_countryName; public BindingList<Person> ListPerson{get; set;} public string CountryName { get; set; } } I then have on one form a first datagridview with DataSource = m_lstPopulation (BindingList). The binding works like a charm when working with the Population objects. When I double click, it opens up a dialog form showing the object details. One tab in the details holds a datagridview bound to that population's ListPerson. The second datagridview displays fine. However, I cannot edit or add cells in this datagridview. None of the columns is set to read-only. In fact, both datagridview have just about the same parameters. What am I missing? It seems that a lock has been placed on the Population object so that its inner fields cannot be edited... Please advise. Thanks.

    I am very new to php/mysql and this is causing me to loose hairs, I am trying to build a multi level site navigation. In this part of my script I am readying the sub and parent categories coming from a form for insertion into the database: // get child categories $catFields = $_POST['categories']; if (is_array($catFields)) { $categories = $categories; for ($i=0; $i<count($catFields); $i++) { $categories = $categories . $catFields[$i]"; } } // get parent category $select = mysql_query ("SELECT parent FROM categories WHERE id = $categories"); while ($return = mysql_fetch_assoc($select)) { $parentId = $return['parent']; } The first part of my script works fine, it grabs all the categories that the user has chosen to assign a post by checking the checkboxes in a form and readies it for insertion into the database. But the second part does not work and I can't understand why. I am trying to match a category with a parent that is stored in it's own table, but it returns nothing even though the categories all have parents. Can anyone tell me why this is? p.s. The $categories variable contains the sub category id.

Please do not suggest, JQuery, Prototype, Mootools, Dojo etc, their primary focus is not to provide ui widgets.

  • Facelet does not convert formatted currency correctly

    Hi, I have the follwing code inside a facelet page: <h:inputNumber value="bean.property"> <f:convertNumber type="currency" /> </h:inputNumber The converter is because there can be a kind of default value inside the input field, which comes from the bean property. Everything is rendered correctly. The value inside the input field is rendered with an "€" character (e.g. "1.453 €". When I submit the form there comes an error up: "nameOfInputField" konnte nicht als ein Geldbetrag erkannt werden '304,00 â¬' In english it is some like: "nameOfInputField" could not be regognized as an amount of money '304,00 â¬' Please have a look at the "€" character. It seems to be printed as "â¬". While it was rendered correctly before submitting the form, now it looks like "â¬" inside the error message and inside the input field. All pages are encoded in UTF-8. What is the reason for this error? How can fix it? Thanks in advance

  • oData/ADO.NET Data Services using LINQ-to-SQL with a decryption layer

    I have written an application using LINQ-to-SQL that submits a web form into a database. I absact the LINQ-to-SQL away using a Repository pattern. This repository has the basic methods: Get(), Save(), etc. As a development of the project, I needed to encrypt certain fields in the form. This was trivial, as I just added the encryption calls to the Get(), Save() methods in the Repository. Now, I want to put an oData layer over it, to allow RESTful extraction from MS Excel 2010 (when it comes out). I have this working, after a few stumbles on useless error messages, etc. However, obviously, those encrypted fields are still encrypted. My repository pattern would have decrypted these for me. As far as I know, I have to directly bind my oData service to the LINQ-to-SQL context for the schema, etc. to work - unless I enter a whole world of pain (any URLs appreciated). Is there a way I can insert my encryption/decryption layer into the request so decryption is done "on the fly"? I looked at the OnStartProcessingRequest() overload of DataService but this doesn't seem that useful.

    Hello all, I'm having a difficult time figuring this one out. I'm attempting to have a user open a tooltip (using jQuery qTip). What this does is create a "new" tooltip element on the page; it takes it from an existing hidden HTML div on the webpage. Once this new tooltip is created, it has a character counter that is supposed to dynamically update as the user types in the textbox (which is inside the tooltip). The "Max Length Character Counter" script can be found here. However, the "counter" portion is not working inside the newly created tooltip. Any ideas how I can bind this max length character counter to the tooltip?
