I have created the database exampledb, and create some tables and load them with values. But when I execute USE exampledb; FLUSH TABLES WITH READ LOCK; SHOW MASTER STATUS; I do not get any output, it says 0 rows affected. why is it so?

I've found plenty of examples of single-file super-simple apps like in CoffeeScript's examples folder, however, none of those really show what a full application would look like. I've also scrounged Google to no avail. Do you have any examples of medium-sized, multi-file CoffeeScript/NodeJS apps I could learn from?

    You can only define a GroupItemCount in the ListView, but what if you want to do grouping based on a property of the items in the data source? Sort of an ad-hoc group by. The data source is sorted on this property. I have seen some examples where some markup in the ItemTemplate was conditionally show, but I want to leverage the GroupTemplate if possible. Is this possible?

  • UIScrollView ImageView with pins on top

    To all, I have a UIScrollView which has a UIImageView. I want to show pins on this imageView. When I add pins as subviews of the ImageView everything is great except for when you zoom the scale transform happens on the pins also. I don't want this behavior and want my pins to stay the same. So I choose to add the Pins to another view which sits on top of the ImageView and is also a subview of the UIScrollView. The idea here if you will imagine is to have a layer which hovers over the map and won't scale yet show pins over where I plot them. The pin when added to the layer view don't cale if the ImageView scales. However the issue then bceomes the position of the pins doesn't match the original origin x/y as the ImageView has had a scale transform. Basically this is a custom map of a place with Pins. I am trying to have the Pins float over and not zoom in and out over my ImageView yet remember where I placed them when the zoom happens. I have some experience writing programs that deal with sql databases and I guess I'm confused how cobol stores and retrieves data that is stored in a mainframe for example. I know that it's not like relational databases but every example program I've seen takes data straight from the command line and I know thats not how real world COBOL programs process the data.     i have a jquery toggle that animates and displays a DIV. i have a transparent PNG , drop shadow type background image, and when it first appears, i see a black background then it dissapears once the image loads... is there a way around that? is that a bug? i have it animating slow, so maybe that has something to do with it... should i just make it show()?

  • Labeling Y axis with PChart

    I am using PChart for PHP to draw graphs, it is working pretty well. I have drawn a graph with intensities (2 = strong, 1 = medium, 0 = low) and I would like to know if is possible to show on the Y axis the description of the data (strong,medium,low) instead of the inappropriate numbers (2,1,0). (I have search a lot without success, theoretically you can only set the X labels according to http://pchart.sourceforge.net/documentation.php?topic=faq.xlabels.) Thanks!

    Is there a way that lets me run a shell script, and display the output in an NSTextView? I do not want any input from the user to the shell script at all, since is is just called to compile a buch of files. The shell script part works fine so far, but I just can't figure out how to run it and show the output in an NSTextView. I know a shell script can be run using system() and NSTask, but how do I get it's output into an NSTextView?
