  • How to make GWT RichTextArea transparent under Internet Explorer?

    Dear all, By default GWT RichTextArea is transparent against the body background etc, this is true for Firefox, Chrome and Safari. But for Internet Explorer, it is not. Changing the css for like background-color etc doesn't seems to help, it is still giving me a white background within RichTextArea. Need your assistance, thanks in advance :)

  • How to activate revision info in line number view

    I know of an Eclipse feature to show revision information (gradual coloring, more info like revisionnumber, date and author on mouseover) for the last changes in a line in the linenumbers-view. Does anyone know how to activate this feature for a file, or even better, by default? I accidently hit some shortcut lately which made it show in one file, it does not show up in the others, though.

  • iphone sqlite app startup issues

    Hi All, I have 4 database catalogues in my app, i will be switching the four catalogues. When i start the app, i read the NSUserDefaults and try to load the default catalogue in the memory, but in the first time this doesnt happen. Instead i get null values returned first time just because the DB connection is not successful for some unknown reason, the debugger is unable to go there too. But the app starts up the next time, the values are fetched successfully. Please help

    I've created a custom control that subclasses TreeView. Right now it's completely empty, doesn't override anything. However when I place an instance in the designer the 'Auto' value for the Width and Height fields is no longer available as it is with the default TreeView. What am I missing?

Having overloaded operator&() can indeed be problematic, but looks like a default "address-of" operator can be used easily through a set of dirty-looking casts that are used in boost::addressof() and are believed to be portable and standard-compilant. Why is having an overloaded operator&() prohibited for classes stored in STL containers while the boost::addressof() workaround exists?

  • One registry key for many products not deleted on uninstall

    My company has many products, we want to create a registry key Software\$(var.Manufacturer)that will have all of our products if our customers have installed more than one (which is likely) I then want to have a secondary key for each of our products which get removed on uninstall but the main one does not. I have tried to achieve this like below but my main key gets deleted so all of my other products also get deleted from the registry. I want to build up statistics on which features people use and how they use them, so that I can measure the value of features I'm implementing. This feedback of course will be off by default and anonymous. Does anyone know of any frameworks that have been developed that can achieve this without me having to write stuff from scratch?
