  • Is there a tool out there that lets you print a colour chart / palette of colours used on a web page

    I want to print a table of the colours used in a web page that my graphic designer has produced - I have .png files at present and use Fireworks to view them. It would be great if there was a tool that lets you print a table with the colour and hex value so I can easily reference when programming. Anyone come across such a thing? Sounds to me like there should be a firefox extension or similar?

    Hay, i have an app which essentially a conversation system (much like reddits) Where a post can have multiple replies, and a reply and have multiplies, and a reply to a reply can have multiple replies (etc) I've made the model like this class Discussion(models.Model): message = models.TextField() replies = models.ManyToManyField('self') and the view discussions = Discussions.objects.all() and the template looks like this {% for discussion in discussions %} {{ discussion.message }} {% endfor %} How would i go about making a system where i can output all replies like this discussion reply reply reply reply reply reply Which would go down as far as it needs to to ensure all replies are listed.   • In CodeIgniter, how to clear "form data" after redirecting page

    I'm not sure I explained it correctly in the question title, so here's the details: Login controller: function authenticate() { if ( authorized ) { redirect('lobby'); } else { redirect('login'); } } Lobby controller: function index() { //load lobby view } What happens is that in the login page, I enter user / pass, click Login, then authenticate() is called, and redirects me to the Lobby. However, when I click refresh while on the Lobby, the login form gets submitted again, so I get "logged in" again. How do I prevent that from happening?

  • MS Access MSChart.Graph.8 not printing

    Software: Microsoft Access 2007 SP2 Database File Version: Access 2000 I have an access program that I inherited from a previous employee. It uses forms for reports and since I don't have much experience in access I have continued to do this. I have created a copy of the program for another project and modified it to suit. I am having trouble getting more then one chart to print. All the charts display in form view, they all have the same properties (excepting data, position, etc.) For some reason they are not printing. They don't even show up in the print preview. I am thinking it must be something with the graphs themselves as they sometimes lose all information. I have to open the graphs in edit mode and change the data source from column to row and back again so that it gets redrawn. (Refresh doesn't fix it) So right now I don't even have a clue as to where to look so ideas are welcome. Edit #1 It seems to be a problem with linking to an unbound form. Subform Field Linker: Can't build a link between unbound forms. Is there anything in printing that changes the context of records with respect to parent/child relationships?

  • Android Custom PopWindow/Dialog

    I'm trying to get a completely custom Dialog or PopupWindow, without any of the default Android UI controls (title, background, buttons, whatever). Is this possible at all? I've spent hours searching for this, but no luck... It seems like this should be easily possible, but I can't find it. However, when I click on translate, the link admin/node/65/translate just takes me to the homepage, while admin/node/65/edit lets me edit the article. Is there a Pathauto setting I'm missing to allow me to translate the page?

  • Viewing an EXE File

    I was attempting to install an exe that requires a serial number before the install, which the vendor has not provided to us yet. This got my wheels turning about whether there is any information that can be gained from viewing an exe using a hex editor/VI/etc? Using VI to view an exe, I can see some sections of plain text, but it is difficult to determine what it refers to without any context around it. Is it possible to determine any information by reading an exe? Thanks

    Hi all, I have set up AuthLogic almost exactly as per the AuthLogic example app at http://github.com/binarylogic/authlogic_example. After someone logs in as User, they can click on links that send them away into the system and away from the users controller. This is an incredibly noob question, but how can I access that User's ID and other attributes from anywhere else, such as an unrelated view or unrelated controller? An example of what I'd like to do: #matchings controller @matching = Matching.find_by_user_id(user.id)

    With ASP.NET Webforms, I could drag and drop a control on a form and be able to access its properties: if (number == 0) AddButton.Enabled = false; Although I cannot drag and drop a control on a ASP.NET MVC View template, can I change its attributes? For instance: disable a button in some conditions and be able to enable it if conditions change. Be able to change the text of a button from "Next-" to "Finish" etc.

When you right click and select view source in a page that is generated by JavaScript (e.g using GWT) you do not see the dynamically generated HTML.
