  • [Flex] Caching canvas into ByteArray

    Task: (all in code, not visual) create a canvas, place into it some labels and draw some lines, then cache it as byteArray. The problem is that if I cache an object that is already drawed on the screen, it works great, but if I cache a canvas, that have been created few lines earlier, this results white image. Is there any solution to cache a display object, that was created in code, but not intended to be displayed at all?

  • JavaFX2: Drag Event start and end coordinates

    I have one node(ImageView) that displays an image and another node(rectangle) that resides on top of it. The behavior I need is that when the mouse is dragged(press-drag-release gesture) over the rectangle, both the nodes should move coherently. My thought process goes in the following direction: • Move both the nodes by the same distance in the direction of the drag. For this option(maybe there are more options) I need the distance between the start and end of the mouse drags. I tried capturing the start and end coordinates of the drag but have been unsuccessful. I think I am getting lost in which handlers to implement.     Is it good to add line-height in body{line-height:1.5} or it would be better if i add separately for tag by tag like p{ line height:1em} etc. Edit: body {line-height:in em} create problem with if we put image with float inside Edit: 24 April 2010: If i have to add different line heights to elements like p { 1.4} h1 {1.6} h2 { 1.2} ul li { 1.1} then shouldn't i use line height in body { 1.4} if body { 1.4} and h1 {1.6} then what would be line height for h1?

  • how can I change top-margin the right way if multiple css class assigned?

    I assigned these classes menu second_menu menu_about_author to ul so the html code looks like <ul class="menu second_menu menu_about_author"> I wanted this ul to have the same properties like menu and second_menu and then I wanted to move the menu_about_author little bit down.     What are all the algorithms involved in Farmville game, specifically I am interested in drawing trees that has fruits based on user's activities. I am into a project which has a specific need to draw a tree-type image in SVG. I am not sure how to go about the algorithms to define the tree and based on certain business rules the leafs in the tree grows etc., I think you get the idea.     I'm looking for a library (or plugin) that help me create a slideshow where (besides the simple ordering of images) I'm able to define the beginning and ending positions (either X/Y, or Zooms) for a given image and the plugin animates the intervening steps between them. Flash has a number of tools/libs like this, i'm sure jQuery has seen similar. Ideally something that offers a range of easing effects as well. I understand these elements are native to jQuery...i'm looking for a time-tested wrapper. thx

  • vagrant box add: where does .box file get downloaded to?

    What actually happens to the .box file (which according to the docs is simply a vbox image in tar form, in a particular format) after the first command vagrant box add lucid32 http://files.vagrantup.com/lucid32.box is executed? I can't seem to find the filesystem location of lucid32.box after the download has successfully completed... I am aware it doesn't really matter as vagrant init lucid32 vagrant up vagrant ssh will get me into the vm irregardless. But I am curious where .box is located.

  • localize many images in Xcode at once?

    I have this project that i need to add a translation to. I already know how to add localisation to single image files, but there are 200+ images with text on it in that project. Do i really have to click one file at a time, "get info", click "add localisation" enter the Language and click OK for every file? When i select multiple images the languages and do those steps the new language is not added :-/ Please someone have a way to save me from insanity ;-) Thanks! S

I'm trying to find the best way to display images inside of UILabels (in fact, I wouldn't mind switching to something other than UILabel if it supports images with no hassle) The scenario is: I have a table view with hundreds of cells and UILabel being the main component of each cell The text I assign to each cell contains sequences of characters that need to be parsed out and represented as an image In simpler words, imagine a TableView of an instant messenger that parses replaces all ":)", ":(", ":D" etc with corresponding smiley images Any input would be greatly appreciated!
