    How to sync bookmarks across Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox bookmarks? As I, currently, understand, Google Chrome puts bookmarks seperatly from Google Bookmarks, which is accessible in Firefox by using Google Toolbar for Firefox. Right? So how should I synchronize my browsers? I use Google Chrome as my primary browser and it works good and bookmarks are synchronized across number of computers I'm using. Thanks, viliusk

    Hi, I want to know if there is any open source testing tool for cloud computing. We have built a cloud framework with Xen, Eucalyptus, Hadoop, HBase as different layers. I am not looking at testing each of these tools separately, but i want to test them from the perspective of fitting into a cloud environment (for example scalability of xen hypervisor to handle multiple VMs). Would be great if you can suggest me some tool (open source) for the above.

Note: it HAS to be secure and relatively simple to learn for someone with moderate programming experience.     What debugging tools are available for directshow filters? Presently, I have a project that compiles and registers a video source filter that I then setup a graph in GraphEdit. I am using c++ in visual studio 2008. Is it possible to get a debugger attached to the filter in any way where I could set break points, inspect variables, etc? Barring that is there a way to log diagnostic information somewhere that I can view in real time?

    I have index.php which uploads a file to server and sets several PHP variables (like $target_folder_and_file_name). index.php also has the following line (it was originally index.html): <script language="JavaScript" src="main.js.php"></script> After index.php returned to the browser, the browsers asks for main.js.php from the server (right?). Can I access somehow $target_folder_and_file_name from the PHP code in main.js.php ?

    Hi, sometimes after logging out and in again, my settings in Tools/Options/Projects and Solutions/VC++ Directories are lost. To investigate the problem I tried to find the file where Visual Studio (2008 Team) stores those settings on disk. (Or is it in the registry?) Can anybody point me to where it is? Thanks a lot!

    I've been handed a rather large, old, and crusty Access 2000/2003 database to clean up. I'll need to rename a number of tables and fields, but need to do so in a way that doesn't break existing queries. (Fortunately, there are no macros, forms, or reports to worry about.) I've heard there are some commercial tools to make this job easier, but only found one (http://www.rickworld.com/products.html). Can anyone recommend this software, or any alternatives?

    tracert mojpacient.si return over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 89-212-252-73.static.t-2.net [89.212.252.73] but if in browser i run www.mojpacient.si when i am connected to server i get connection timeout. If i am out of local network then i can connect to mojpacient.si Does anyone have any idea how is this possible and what is wrong. I suspect IIS7 but do not know what in IIS7.

I was thinking of something where I could declaritively define paths, curves; etc in the aspx markup, and the control would deliver the js to do this (perhaps with support for browser detection, and delivery of an emulation script for IE browsers.)     I need to take a url, "/ServiceSearch/r.php?n=blahblah", and have it go to "/search/blahblah/" so that it appears in the browser as "/search/blahblah", but I actually want it to REALLY be going to "r.php?n=ServiceSearch&n=blahblah".. So I was thinking I'll need to rewrite the first URL to "/ServiceSearch/r.php?n=blahblah" and then the second url, "/search/blahblah/", to the third, "r.php?n=ServiceSearch&n=blahblah". Well, I know this is wrong, but it's my best guess. I'm really struggling with it.
