Is there a snippets program that allows for tab entry of variables across the mac?

I love Sublime Text editor and the ability to create code snippets like so: <snippet> <content><![CDATA[\$("${1:selector}").${2:method}]]></content> <tabTrigger>jq</tabTrigger> </snippet> This allows me to type jq[tab] and then have it expand to $("selector").method where I am able to tab through the string 'selector' and 'method' in order to change them. But what I'd really like to do is use this same snippet when working in Chrome Dev Tools, so I was looking for a mac snippets program that could support this. However, the three programs that I looked at (Keyboard Maestro, Snippets, CodeBox) don't support the ability to tab through to highlight predetermined strings and change them. Does anyone know of an app that will do this?

Report of a user's membership in groove spaces?

Hi All, I want to find out whether there is a way in Microsoft Groove to find out which spaces a user is in (and conversely which spaces the user is not in). We run a free script called Personal Backup for Groove for our backups. The script dumps out all the groove spaces that our "backup user" is a member of. However, if someone creates a new space and doesn't invite the backup user, that space will never get backed up. We're trying to find a way to audit the "backup user" membership so that we can ensure that it's invited to all spaces. Thanks!

PowerShell One Liner: Duplicating a folder structure in a Sharepoint document library

I was asked by someone at work the other day, if it was possible in Sharepoint to create a set of top level folders in one document library based on the set of folders in another library. One document library has a set of top level folders that is basically a client list and we needed to create the same top level folders in another library. I knew that it was possible to open a Sharepoint document library in explorer using a UNC style path and that you could map a drive using a technique like this one: http://www.endusersharepoint.com/2007/11/16/can-i-map-a-document-library-as-a-mapped-drive/. But while explorer would let us copy the folders, it would also take all of the folder contents too, which was not what we wanted. So I figured that some sort of PowerShell script was probably the way to go and it turned out to be even easier than I thought. The following script did it in one line, so I thought I would post it here in my "online memory". :) dir "\\sharepoint\client documents" | where {$_.PSIsContainer} | % {mkdir "\\sharepoint\admin documents\$($_.Name)"} I use "dir" to get a listing from the source folder, pipe it through "where" to get only objects that are folders and then do a foreach (using the % alias) and call "mkdir".

How to switch 'default' sound device controlled by hardware keys in Xubuntu?

I installed xubuntu-desktop on a 12.04 Ubuntu upgrade after finding Gnome3 lacking. I've mostly been happy, but I've found an odd and frustrating bug. My laptop has two sound 'outputs' - an HDMI-out plug I never use, and the onboard speakers/headphones. For some reason, the hardware keys have been mapped to the HDMI output, even if I set it as 'fallback' in pavucontrol, and notify-osd only displays changes in the HDMI output (though the panel indicator volume control controls onboard sound). I'd ideally like both hardware keys and notify-osd to be looking at the onboard sound, though if I can't get notify-osd it's an acceptable loss. Having to click through a bunch of stuff to change volume is driving me crazy, though. Googling suggested that it /may/ be a Pulseaudio/ALSA conflict, but the hardware keys seem to change at least indicated volume in pavucontrol for HDMI as expected (I don't have an HDMI cable to test actual sound output)

Can not run ifconfig like commands via browser

Hi, Problem is I cannot run "ifconfig" or similar commands via browser. Environment: Programming language : python Server : lighttpd(CGI) , running on busybox. Well machine is really small and so I am really restricted. Tried techniques: chown every script to root. But there is no differences. Why? Because lighttpd runs under another user, I mean not under root. As it is not root, when I try to run script from browser it always calls the python file with its uid. So it makes it impossible to run "ifconfig eth0 192.168.2.123" like commands via web browser. I get "ifconfig: SIOCSIFADDR: Permission denied" error. What can I do? I do not have any sudoers file, so cannot modify sudo command. Well, I don't even have "sudo" command :) Thanks for your help

Flushing disk cache for performance benchmarks?

I'm doing some performance benchmark on some heavy SQL script running on postgres 8.4 on a ubuntu box (natty). I'm experiencing some pretty un-stable performance, even though I'm supposed to be the only one running on the machine (the same script on the exact same data might run in 20m and then 40m for no specific reason). So, remembering my distant DBA training, I decided I should flush the postgres cache, using sudo /etc/init.d/postgresql restart, but it's still shaky! My question: maybe I'm missing some caches in my disk/os? I'm using a netapp appliance as my storage. Am I on the right track? Do I even want to make sure I get repeatable performance before I start tuning?

Avoid unwanted path in Zip file

I'm making a shell script to package some files. I'm zipping a directory like this: zip -r /Users/me/development/something/out.zip /Users/me/development/something/folder/ The problem is that the resultant out.zip archive has the entire file path in it. That is, when unzipped, it will have the whole "/Users/me/development/anotherthing/" path in it. Is it possible to avoid these deep paths when putting a directory into an archive? When I run zip from inside the target directory, I don't have this problem. zip -r out.zip ./folder/ In this case, I don't get all the junk. However, the script in question will be called from wherever. FWIW, I'm using bash on Mac OS X 10.6.

We have an old web app, which would be much more usable if it could be visually tweaked a bit. Being in a corporate environment - IE (always using the latest version) is all I can use. Also app in question being 3rd-party - there's no way to change it's own CSS files. Is there a way to use per domain injected custom CSS in internet Explorer. Let's say I want to change the background-color of domain http://oldapp.localintranet/ - is there any way to make this happen? Place to put a custom.css-file? With an add-on/extension?

Why does this happen? I have installed Ubuntu 13.04 on a disk and partitioned it. Please help me and ask for excess information if you need it. If you know of any duplicates please show me them!! Oracle ETPM is renamed Oracle Public Sector Revenue Management (PSRM)

We are excited to announce to that with the upcoming release of v2.4, we are renaming ETPM to Oracle Public Sector Revenue Management (Oracle PSRM). This is a pure name change, and all terms and conditions for existing customer licensing remain unchanged. We feel that this updated naming is a better reflection of our current customer base, which includes tax revenue for many Departments of Revenue, as well as agencies that at manage non-tax revenue, such as regulatory fees, loans, and social benefits. Please note, as part of this name change, related products in the Oracle ETPM family, such as Oracle Tax Analytics, and Oracle ETPM Self Service, will be renamed at their next major product release to align to the Oracle PSRM theme.

Cannot run update due to a dpkg error with burg-theme-minimal-sir

I cannot run an update or indeed run $: apt-get remove due to a dpkg error with a package that's a part of super-boot-manager. Running an update returns: dpkg: error processing burg-theme-minimal-sir (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 I tried removing this package alone, with the same error, also trying to remove super-boot-manager returns: (Reading database ... 225474 files and directories currently installed.) Removing burg-theme-minimal-sir ... Generating burg.cfg ... /usr/sbin/burg-probe: error: cannot stat `/boot/burg/locale'. No path or device is specified. Create Shortcuts for Your Favorite or Most Used Folders in Ubuntu

Do you have certain folders that you access often each day but are only available through the Places Menu or Nautilus? See how easy it is to create shortcuts for your desktop and taskbar with our quick tutorial. To get started open Nautilus and locate the folders that you want to make new shortcuts for. For our example we chose Ubuntu One. Right click on the chosen folder and select Make Link. Your new shortcut will appear with the text Link to “Folder Name” and an Arrow Shortcut Marker attached. If you are happy with your new shortcut as is, then drag it to your desktop or taskbar as desired. We created the shortcut twice in our example…once for the desktop and once for the taskbar. For our example we decided to customize the taskbar shortcut a bit. To customize your shortcut right click on the shortcut and select Properties. Note: The desktop shortcut is limited on the amount you can customize it (name change and addition of up to four emblems to the folder). From here you can rename the shortcut and change the icon as desired. A quick name change and new icon made a huge improvement in how our taskbar shortcut looked. Note: The link for the icon we used is shown below. A little touch-up to our desktop shortcut and both are looking good. Simultaneous Animation for a GameObject - Unity3D

Its my second week with Unity. I am doing a 2D game and I have a small GameObject which should change its sprite along with following a definite path defined in Animation Curves. I did both of them in separate .anim files since the transform animation had many keyframes, i thought it wont be good to put the '2' sprite keyframe repeatedly along side the transform keyframe. But the problem is, I cant get it both working together at the same time. I dont want any blending because the animation is timed well already. Also, I tried deleting the sprite change animation and tried it under script changing the SpriteRenderer.Sprite property under Update(); but it works only when the Animator component is disabled in the GameObject. Any Solutions ? :)

Here is the very interesting error I received from a reader. He has very interesting question. He attempted to use BIT filed in the SUM aggregation function and he got following error. He went ahead with various different datatype (i.e. INT, TINYINT etc) and he was able to do the SUM but with BIT he faced the problem. Is there a way to set access to WMI using GroupPolicy?

From various documentation it appears that to change WMI access you need to use WMI to access the running service and modify specific parts of the tree. Its kind of annoying changing 150,000 hosts using the UI. And then having to include such changes in the process of adding new hosts. Could write a script to do the same, but that needs to either connect to all those machines live, or be distributed for later update say in an startup/install script. And then you have to mess around with copying binary SD data from an example access control. I've also found you can change the wbem/*.mof file to include an SDDL but I'm really vague on how that all works at the moment. Am I just missing some point of simple administration?
