  • Android - HorizontalScrollView within ScrollView Touch Handling

    Hi, I have a ScrollView that surrounds my entire layout so that the entire screen is scrollable. The first element I have in this ScrollView is a HorizontalScrollView block that has features that can be scrolled through horizontally. I've added an ontouchlistener to the horizontalscrollview to handle touch events and force the view to "snap" to the closest image on the ACTION_UP event. So the effect I'm going for is like the stock android homescreen where you can scroll from one to the other and it snaps to one screen when you lift your finger. This all works great except for one problem: I need to swipe left to right almost perfectly horizontally for an ACTION_UP to ever register. If I swipe vertically in the very least (which I think many people tend to do on their phones when swiping side to side), I will receive an ACTION_CANCEL instead of an ACTION_UP. My theory is that this is because the horizontalscrollview is within a scrollview, and the scrollview is hijacking the vertical touch to allow for vertical scrolling. How can I disable the touch events for the scrollview from just within my horizontal scrollview, but still allow for normal vertical scrolling elsewhere in the scrollview? When I remove the link line from the HTML doc for site_header.css and instead use an @import url("/css/site_header.css"); in my main.css file, the same results -- nothing gets rendered for for the same div. Now when I take the CSS markup from site_header.css and add it to main.css, the div gets rendered fine... So I am wondering if having multiple css files is somehow not working... or maybe having that css markup at the end of my previous css is somehow conflicting, though I cannot find a reason why it would.

  • NHibernate mapping with optimistic-lock="version" and dynamic-update="true" is generating invalid up

    I have an entity "Group" with an assigned ID which is added to an aggregate in order to persist it. This causes an issue because NHibernate can't tell if it is new or existing. To remedy this issue, I changed the mapping to make the Group entity use optimistic locking on a sql timestamp version column. This caused a new issue. Group has a bag of sub objects. So when NHibernate flushes a new group to the database, it first creates the Group record in the Groups table, then inserts each of the sub objects, then does an update of the Group records to update the timestamp value. However, the sql that is generated to complete the update is invalid when the mapping is both dynamic-update="true" and optimistic-lock="version".   • Spring Security - Interactive login attempt was unsuccessful

    I've been trying to track down why Spring Security isn't creating the SPRING_SECURITY_REMEMBER_ME_COOKIE so I turned on logging for org.springframework.security.web.authentication.rememberme. At first glance, the logs make it seem like the login is failing but the login is actually successful in the sense that if I navigate to a page that requires authentication I am not redirected back to the login page. However, the logs appear to be saying the login credentials are invalid. Any ideas as to what is going on? MSDN said "If you use this method during impersonation, you may receive the following error: "Key not valid for use in specified state." This error can be prevented by loading the profile of the user you want to impersonate, before calling the method." I would be very grateful for the help!

  • Having trouble binding a ksoap object to an ArrayList in Android

    I'm working on an app that calls a web service, then the webservice returns an array list. My problem is I am having trouble getting the data into the ArrayList and then displaying in a ListView. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I know for a fact the web service returns an ArrayList. Everything seems to be working fine, just no data in the ListView or the ArrayList.....Thanks in advance! Function listsubscribe() is used for email subscription: public static listSubscribe(string apikey, string id, string email_address, array merge_vars, string email_type, boolean double_optin, boolean update_existing, boolean replace_interests, boolean send_welcome) I downloaded MailChimp's official .NET wrapper for their API When looking in Visual Studio, this is one of overloaded functions: listSubscribe(string apikey, string id, string email_address, MCMergeVar[] merges) When I click on definition of MCMergeVar[], this comes out: [XmlRpcMissingMapping(MappingAction.Ignore)] public struct MCMergeVar { public string name; public bool req; [XmlRpcMissingMapping(MappingAction.Error)] public string tag; public string val; } In a php example on MailChimp's website, this is how merges variable is declared: $merge_vars = array('FNAME'=>'Test', 'LNAME'=>'Account', 'INTERESTS'=>''); How to write this array correctly for my C# wrapper? I tried something like this: MCMergeVar[] subMergeVars = new MCMergeVar[1]; subMergeVars["FNAME"] = "Test User"; But it requires an int in place where "FNAME" is now placed, so this doesn't work...   • Telerik RadWindow does not fire ClientCallBackFunction after a ajax an __DoPostBack

    HI, I have a Telerik radwindow that allows our users to upload files. When the user first opens the radwindow and sees the upload fields, they can happily select a file and upload it. The window then returns the id of the uploaded file back to the parent page via the ClientCallBackFunction. This function then passes in the ID to a javascript function that calls __DoPostback so that we can populate the list of uploaded files. First time around it works a treat. However all subsequent times it fails to call ClientCallBackFunction unless i refresh the entire page. I also note that any other control on the parent page to uses an ajax postback also stops the ClientCallBackFunction begin called, even on the first time. any ideas? Thanks Richard

    I'm trying to set up jsTree to dynamically accept JSON data from django. This is the test data i have django returning to jstree: result=[{ "data" : "A node", "children" : [ { "data" : "Only child", "state" : "closed" } ], "state" : "open" },"Ajax node"] response=HttpResponse(content=result,mimetype="application/json") this is the jstree code I'm using: jQuery("#demo1").jstree({ "json_data" : { "ajax" : { "url" : "/dirlist", "data" : function (n) { return { id : n.attr ? n.attr("id") : 0 }; }, error: function(e){alert(e);} } }, "plugins" : [ "themes","json_data"] }); All I get is the ajax loading symbol, the ajax error response is also triggered and it alerts "undefined". I've also tried simpleJson encoding in django but with the same result. If I change the url so that it is receiving a JSON file with identical data, it works as expected. Any ideas on what the issue might be?

    First time when I tried to do something in WPF, I was puzzled with WPF DataBinding. Then I studied thorougly next example on MSDN: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms771319(v=VS.90).aspx Now, I quite understand how to use Master-Detail paradigm for a form which takes data from one source (one table) - both for master and detailed parts. I mean for example I have a grid with data and below the grid I have a few fields with detailed data of current row. But how to do it, if detailed data comes from different but related tables? for example: you have a Table 'Users' with columns - 'id' and 'Name'. You also have another table 'Pictures' with columns like 'id','Filename','UserId'. And now, using master-detail paradigm you have to built a form. And every time when you chose a row in a Master you should get all associated pictures in Details. What is the right way to do it? Could you please show me an example?
