  Ive been asked if i am able to program a multi directional scrolling site like this- COS only using wordpress. Initially i thought i may be flash but the source seems like it could be simple, possibly with elements of jquery. . . . . I am unable to find any themes that even come close to it. And initially i wanted to know how it has been achieved to see if i am able to start the design work any ideas how this has been achieved. • Detecting when HTML5 audio is finished playing (more than once)?

  I am having a problem detecting when an tag is finished playing an mp3. When I do something like this: myAudio.addEventListener("ended", function() { alert("ended"); }); It only occurs the first time the audi is played. When I play the audio again, nothing happens. The same thing occurs when I use the onended=doThis(); method. I've heard maybe there is a way to do it in jquery, but I haven't been able to get it to work. I've also heard there might be a way to fix it by changing the audio div id everytime the mp3 is played, but this doesn't work for me because I need the id to stay the same. Anyone got any ideas?

  I have the following html: <li> <span class="one">Stuff here</span> <span class="two">More stuff</span> </li> .one { display: block; } .two { display: none; } What is the easiest method, preferably CSS only, to hide one and show two when the mouse rolls over the <li> container. If this cannot be done via CSS and only Javascript, I would prefer jQuery via something like live() as the content is updated live and do not wish to constantly rebind manually. EDIT: I forgot to mention that this has to work in IE6 :/

• Subscribe to the 'complete' event of a .load() on a specific DOM element?

  Hi all, I already use both .live() and .bind('ajaxComplete') to accomplish certain related tasks, but I have found myself wanting to be able to listen for the 'complete' event of a specific DOM element which will call jQuery's .load() at various times. In this situation I don't want to listen for ALL complete events globally (unless someone can show me how to get the proper target from the event object returned by 'ajaxComplete'). I would like to be able to do something like this: $('.selector').load('url.php',{data:data},function(){ ... }); and then somewhere else, attach a handler to listen and execute some other code whenever that ajax call fires and completes: $('.selector').bind('complete',function(){ ... }); is there any way to do this? or must i always make use of the 'complete' event within the context of the load() method?

• Make 2 links same height in columns?

  I have a setup where i have a unordered list on a page with x <li><a href="#">Link text</a></li>. They are via CSS set to 50% width each, so that i have 2 items on each line. My problem is that 2 links on one line, can vary in height as they have different link text. My question is; how can i, via jQuery, set the same height for each (the a is styles with a border bottom, so it would look best if they alined) on the same line? But not all in the sections should have the same height, only on a "pr line" basis. Hope it makes sence :)

  Youtube video does not show up in a modal window when viewed in a desktop version of Chrome. The modal window pops up but the youtube video does not. https://animalhealth.pfizer.com/sites/pahweb/US/EN/Products/Pages/ClarifideStories.aspx It works in IE and Firefox on Windows7, works in Chrome on Android ICS and iOS6 iPad.   I have an issue with the below code: the jQuery.each is speeding on without waiting for the JSON request to finish. As a result, the 'thisVariationID' and 'thisOrderID' variables are being reset by the latest iteration of a loop before they can be used in the slower getJSON function.   I have a vision of an advent calendar, where there are pictures of real windows with shudders, and when the user clicks on a picture, the shudders open to reveal what's behind them. How can I do this? I suppose I could use the primitive slideDown method in jQuery. But is there a slideLeft and slideRight? Or an openDoor, where each shudder rotates on an axis? This would be one div that has a transition of opening to both the left and right at the same time.

  Working with Javascript (jQuery), given 2 color values (2033ff and 3300a0 for example) how can I determine certain gradient stops between them? Reason being is, I intend on using an array of color values: 0 => '000000' 8400 => 'f0ff00' 44000 => '2033ff' 68400 => '3300a0' There being 86400 seconds in a day, 12:00AM maps to 0, and 11:59PM maps to 86399. As time passes, the background color of a specified element changes to the appropriate color in gradient list via window.setInterval(function(e){ ... }, 1000). For example 2:32:11PM = 52331, which from the example would be somewhere between 2033ff and 3300a0. I don't need to populate the array with the values (unless that would be easier) but instead use the index and value as references.
