  • jaxb unmarshaling with schema validation in runtime

    I am using jaxb for my application configurations I feel like I am doing something really crooked and I am looking for a way to not need an actual file or this transaction. As you can see in code I: 1.create a schema into a file from my JaxbContext (from my class annotation actually) 2.set this schema file in order to allow true validation when I unmarshal Schema mySchema = SchemaFactory.newInstance(XMLConstants.W3C_XML_SCHEMA_NS_URI).newSchema(schemaFile); jaxbContext.generateSchema(new MySchemaOutputResolver()); // ultimately creates schemaFile Unmarshaller u = m_context.createUnmarshaller(); u.setSchema(mySchema); u.unmarshal(...); do any of you know how I can validate jaxb without needing to create a schema file that sits in my computer? Do I need to create a schema for validation, it looks redundant when I get it by JaxbContect.generateSchema ? How do you do this?

    I have a string <entry key="Provider">Comcast Cable Communications, Inc.</entry> <entry key="Challenged">No</entry> I need to call the using xmlwriter..WriteElementString I need to what the string mentioned earler. Problem here is the xwriter.WriteElementString will escape all "<" and "" symbols with &lt and &gt. I have checked MSDN to see if there is a way to disable it, but have not found an answer. Is there a way to disable the auto-escape features?

    Hi all, I need help on web.config transformation as I'm trying to do something not documented. My web.config has an empty connectionStrings element. In debug, I'd like the transformation tool to add a configSource="file.local" to the connectionStrings element. But in release, I'd like it to add a connectionString element.     My regex skills are not very good and recently a new data element has thrown my parser into a loop Take the following string "+USER=Bob Smith-GROUP=Admin+FUNCTION=Read/FUNCTION=Write" Previously I had the following for my regex : [+\\-/] Which would turn the result into USER=Bob Smith GROUP=Admin FUNCTION=Read FUNCTION=Write FUNCTION=Read But now I have values with dashes in them which is causing bad output New string looks like "+USER=Bob Smith-GROUP=Admin+FUNCTION=Read/FUNCTION=Write/FUNCTION=Read-Write" Which gives me the following result , and breaks the key = value structure.   • IntellIJ editor doesn't appear

    I updated my IntellIJ install to the latest version (11.1.4) and now the Editor window doesn't appear. Double-clicking on the file, jump-to-source, nothing happens. No error message, it just doesn't appear. If I double-click on an xml layout file the preview window works, but no Editor window. Have installed and reinstalled; went back to an earlier version and it doesn't work there either. I'm at a loss. Any ideas? Update: Editor works if I create a new project.     Hi, I'm trying to parse the HTML presented below with TouchXML but it keeps crashing when I try to extract certain attributes. I'm totally new to the parser world so I apologize for being a complete idiot. I need help to parse this HTML. What I'm trying to accomplish is to parse each attribute and value or what not and copy them to a string. I've been trying to find a good parser to parse HTML and I believe TouchXML is the best I've seen because of Tidy. Speaking of Tidy, How could I run this HTML through Tidy first then parse it? I'm not sure how to do this. Here is the code that I have so far that doesn't work due to it's not pulling everything I need from the HTML. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.     Hi, first of, I don't know much about XSL. I am using a app called DITA to generate pdfs. One of the things it requires is an overwrite of an xsl file; to add custom styling. I am trying to add an external graphic using a relative path. It doesn't work, unless I supply the full path. Does not work: <fo:block text-align="center" width="100%"> <fo:external-graphic src="../../images/logo.png"/> </fo:block> Does work: <fo:block text-align="center" width="100%"> <fo:external-graphic src="/absolute/path/to/images/logo.png"/> </fo:block> I looked on the web, it said to use "file:image.png" and other website said to use "url(image.png)", but neither worked. What am I doing wrong?
