  I'm trying to submit a form on an .asp page but Mechanize does not recognize the name of the control. Any advice on how to submit this form?

• Spring Weblfow 2 - Double Submit

  Hello All, I am investigating a possible issue with double submits and I am looking at the possibilty of a double submit from a webflow execution. I have read many times that webflow will handle double submits, there are plenty references here. However I then came across I a forum response on the spring source forums contradicting what I read saying, SWF synchronizes on the conversation. Only one request will be processed at a time per conversation. Take note that if you're using snapshots, then it's possible repeatedly clicking on the submit button will generate a second request. I would recommend setting history to invalidate or discard in the transition from your view-state. We do have snapshots enabled but the book notes that using snapshots actually allows to solve the double submits. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks.

  I have a link shortener system (Yourls) set up so you can go to the short url with ?url=[xyz] (where [xyz] is the url you wan to shorten) added to the end will shorten the URL. I want to add a link to a separate page (on my MediaWiki wiki) that shortens the permalink of the page that it is on. I need to add the button to my template in a way that will add the URL of the current page to the link. MediaWiki is a PHP platform, so that is preferred (but JavaScript is fine too). How can I do this? (I apologize if this is confusing)

  Hi, I have a usercontrol UC1 with a combobox and a button. From the constructor, after initializing all the controls, I am populating the combobox with an array of information brought from other class library. I have kept the UC1 on windows form. When I tried to open the form's designer I see some errors and a suggestion to rebuild to fix the errors. After searching over net I found that the logic of populating the combobox is the culprit. I changed the code with an additional check of null and the issue is fixed now. My question is, how am i able to see the same usercontrol seperatly in designer view, but not when i placed the UC1 on a form and trying to see the designer view for the form? The same combobox populating logic should affect the drawing of UC1 when I try to see it in designer view right? Thanks, AK.

  Hi, I would like to have a ListView that would have have items similar to Microsoft Outlook inbox with items arranged by Conversations (see the attached photo). An item can either be a simple textblock containing the topic of the conversation (on the photo this are the blue lines) or it can contain email information specified by the ListView's header. It would be best if the items with conversation topics would be push buttons so that emails inside that conversation could be shown or hidden by pressing this button. Any ideas how can I achieve this? Do I specify two ListViewItem templates? If yes, how do I tell in the code which template to use for each item? Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!! • Safari extension - Too many injected scripts responding to message

  Hi, I am trying to code a safari extension similar to Bubble Translate for Chrome. when you click a button on the toolbar, it automatically translates the text currently selected to the language of your choice using the Google language API. I use the following injected script to get the highlighted text and display the result (as an alert for the time being): http://pastebin.com/bYVuQAmp I use the following global script to call the injected script if neccessary: hxxp://pastebin.com/VHaAKM5a The problem I have is the following: The script does not just get injected into the main page but also into ads and similar stuff that is embedded into the page. Due to that, the selected text gets translated multiple times because all the embedded scripts in one page respond to the message.   So with all these fancy new APIs and such that Facebook is making available, I've noticed that on the partner sites (Pandora, docs.com, etc.), there is no login---Facebook automatically signs you in. You don't even need to press a button to connect if you already have a FB session established. Is this a feature of the new API? Or is this a Facebook partners-only feature? I haven't seen any information on whether this is possible for cool guys that don't run huge companies. Thanks in advance

  Can a user connect to my web site using an Orkut account ? Just like Google Friend Connect or Facebook, but with Orkut. The idea is, the user goes to my web site, I have a "Connect using Orkut" button there, on click takes him to the Orkut login page, once s/he logins and grants access to my app, get's redirected to my web site with the Orkut ID as a parameter. The same procedure that works for Google Friend Connect and also Facebook Connect.... I haven't seen an example of this with Orkut. Can it be done ? Is there an Orkut Connect or similar ? If there is one such example could you please give me a link to it ? A sample in c# would be excellent, but I would be happy with a sample in any language. Any help will be appreciated

  I'm creating a notification with something similar to the following: Intent ni = new Intent(this, SomeActivity.class); ni.putExtra("somestring", "somedata"); PendingIntent contentIntent = PendingIntent.getActivity(this, 0, ni, PendingIntent.FLAG_UPDATE_CURRENT|PendingIntent.FLAG_ONE_SHOT); Context context = getApplicationContext(); notification.setLatestEventInfo(context, res.getString(R.string.app_name), text, contentIntent); The key here is the extra data on the Intent for the notification. Once I click on the notification and it brings up SomeActivity, it brings up the activity and the extra data is available. However, if I exit the app, hold the home button until the recent activities list comes up, and choose to open the app again, the extra data is still passed. Is there a way I can make this data get passed only if the app is opened via the Notification, and not from the recent activities list?

  We are looking to implement a rich-text box in an ASP.NET application and our requirements are specific to using the "Track Changes" features of Microsoft Word. The closest thing we found in the RadEditor by Telerik. This is a nice control that has a "Track Changes" button and will give you the ability to track the changes from the text in the box to now. It does not let you track your changes from the two previous versions. We have used CVSWeb in the past and the display was not great but it did have the ability (in a web page) to diff two different versions of text (source code in this case). Does anyone have any experience or know of any web-based diff tools that work nicely with a rich-text editor in the web?

  I'm just getting started with javafx in NetBeans, and I have it doing simple stuff (windows with buttons + the like) but would like to try something slightly more realistic. The "Swing/AWT Components" palette has a whole bunch of stuff that the "JavaFX Script Code Clips" palette does not (it has Button, CheckBox, ComboBox, ComboBoxItem, Label, RadioButton, Slider, TextField, and ToggleButton). How do I add stuff to this palette? I would like to try using some of the components in org-netbeans-swing-outline.jar edit: Aha. I was missing the point somewhat: there are only some javafx-wrapped Swing components available in javafx.ext.Swing.*, so if you want one of the other Swing components you have to wrap them yourself.

  There's only room for three lines of text in the interface, but the content is external and variable, and if it ends up taking up more than three lines, there needs to be some sort of 'view all' button functionality. I can kind of think about what that function needs to look like, but I'm not quite sure what the best way to do it in AS3 would be. The existing working regex is as follows: RewriteRule ^.+-(\d+)\.accommodation$ property_detail.php?id=$1 Which works fine with the url like below and passes through the URL. this-is-the-property-name.1234.accomodation However as a quick shiv, I am trying to do the following: this-is-the-property-name.1234.accomodation?override=true&start_date=2010-05-14&numbernights=2&sleeps=10&price=1012 The regex I came up with for this was: RewriteRule ^.+-(\d+)\.accommodation\?override=(\w+)&start_date=(19|20)[0-9]{2}[- /.](0[1-9]|1[012])[- /.](0[1-9]|[12][0-9]|3[01])&numbernights=(\d+)&sleeps=(\d+)&price=(\d+)$ property_detail.php?id=$1&override=$2&start_date=$3-$4-$5&numbernights=$6&sleeps=$7&price=$8 The regex is passing as valid in RegexBuddy - however it keeps causing a 500 error on the server. Can anyone help me get my head around this one?

  G'Day, I am looking to prototype a windows based GUI. Ideally I would like: Be able create new GUI's and change existing ones quickly The resulting "thing" to be self contained Have the ability to include limited data where necessary ie. When showing a grid including the headers and perhaps a few rows of data for the grid. Allow clickable hotspots that either allow a new screen to be shown or perhaps an explanation hint. I have been using Visio 2003 for this kind of thing and then producing a PDF. However it has some disadvantages: Including data for grids is not possible You cannot include hotspots to allow changing of tabs within the workbook. eg Click on a button and it opens a different tab. If possible a free / open source application would be preferable but a low priced commercial application would also be good. All pointers and suggestions greatly appreciated.Rapid

  Hi, I'm new to iPhone Development and I did some examples and seen code and code and more code but I still can't get the when the user taps here show this view using this animation, and go back after (user taps a back button) I did some Tab Bar examples, Utility examples, etc but when I start a project from scratch the code never does what I want :-/ every time I create a View (xib) I also create the controller (h and m files), as all examples are like this, and I have no idea if I can only create 4 Views and just have one controller :-( when a user taps a UITableCell how can I load a new view using an animation? and how can I go back to the UITableCell the user was? kind'a (in C#) myNewForm f = new myNewForm(); f.show(); ... this.Close(); If someone can share some knowledge or a tutorial or a screencast, I will greatly appreciate Thank you!

• Creating Zend_Form elements from row html

  Hi there, I am having an issue with Zend_Form and your help will be appreciated. in fact I have a class to generate categories as options $categories = My_Util_Category::toHtmlSelect();//for simplicity I removed other lines this code generates <select> <option > root</option> <option> root / children</option> </select> On another hand, I use Zend_Form form to edit categories. The code looks like: $form = My_Form_Category( $data, $selectElements = array() ); which outputs a form, text field, a select box for parent categories and a submit button. How can I get 'select element' from $form, and replace it with row html 'select' generated with $categories any help, or link will be appreciated. Thanks.

Using the ThemeRoller Firefox Bookmarklet, I was able to change the color of the icon to red (to make it look like a delete button). Q: How can I make one jQueryUI icon be red and another one another color? <span class="ui-icon ui-icon-circle-plus"></span> I'd like to make this one green.

• iOS 5 Hanging on ASIHTTPRequests

  So I have an app that runs on iOS 3.2 - 4.x. It uses ASIHTTPRequest to make all the REST API calls. Ever since my team and I upgraded three of our iPhone 4's to iOS 5, The app will hang and show the ActivityIndicator indefinitely. I looked at the server logs and the requests aren't hitting the server. However, if I press the iPhone home button then open the app again, the request will go through and I will receive the data, business as normal. For some reason the requests are never triggered until I reopen the app. Another weird tidbit, the app works in Xcode 4.2 and the iPhone simulator. The app also works on an iPad2 with iOS 5 (the app is iPhone only). Would this be an ASIHTTPRequest issue? Not too sure how to pinpoint the issue since there is no crash and only happens on the phone. Any insight would be much appreciated! Thanks.
