• How to remove a single event in a recuring event

  hi all. I' m having an issue with fullCalendar. I created a script that, adds an event to fullCalendar, along a day range, and set a unique id in order to have this event recur. let say for example that i have a recuring event from 1/1/10 till 10/1/10. i create 10 single event Objects with the same id, and place then on fullCalendar. my question is, that i want to exclude a single day over this recuring event. (for example 3/1/10). i found out, that if i remove that particural event from the sources table and then update the event its fine. but how can i get on runtime the actucal index of this eventObj on sources table? Note that, i add the events on the fullCalendar using the .fullCalendar("renderEvent") method. Thanks.

• How to skip the invalid rows while inserting the data into Database

  We have a statement., that is inserting some rows in a temporary table (say e.g., 10 rows), while inserting 5th row, it has some issue with one of the column format and giving an error and then it stopped inserting the rows. What I want is, it should skip the error rows and insert valid rows.   I have using mysql 5.1 with cpanel /whm centOS. I had to use trigger for one of my website. so i installed trigger as root so that when something gets inserted on one table there some more rows gets inserted in other table Everything was working fine, but i have seen that there is no trigger in my dtabase. How does that be deleted from DB. I am bit worried because currently site is not live , but it can cause problem if this happens in live site. Does any mysql updation cause the trigger to delete. but i have no updated. How can i make sure it don't happen in future Thanks

• jQuery fade in background colour

  Hi, I'm trying to fade in the background colour of a table row, and can't get it right. The fade-in will happen when a button is clicked. I tried something like: $("#row_2").fadeIn('slow').css('background', 'gold') And although this will apply the colour to the table row, it won't fade in, but apply it at once. I'm sure this is a simple thing, but I can't find an answer to that. I've looked all over in this website, but still no luck for this specific thing. Thanks in advance

  I created an enum where I stored some table names. I want it to be used to get the name of the table like ds.Tables[BGuestInfo.TableName.L_GUEST_TYPE.ToString()]. public enum TableName : byte { L_GUEST_TYPE = 0 ,L_AGE_GROUP = 1 ,M_COMPANY = 2 ,L_COUNTRY = 3 ,L_EYE_COLOR = 4 ,L_GENDER = 5 ,L_HAIR_COLOR = 6 ,L_STATE_PROVINCE = 7 ,L_STATUS = 8 ,L_TITLE = 9 ,M_TOWER = 10 ,L_CITY = 11 ,L_REGISTER_TYPE = 12 } This is my enum. Now I have not created any object of this enum so that no one can use it for other than read only purpose. For this enum to be accessible in outer classes as well I have to make it public which means some outer class can create its object as well. So what can i do so as to restrict its object creation.

  Hello all! I am new to web services and i have a question: Should a web service be able to access the client database? Sorry if i am not using the proper terms. Lets say i have a web service method called : GetCarDetails(string name) which will actually return details from car table. in this method i have an sql statement like SELECT * FROM car WHERE name = ?. In the client application, i have a textbox where i can input a name and a button on which when i click, fill a gridview. So im kinda confused, should the web service normally know that the client has a table called car?Please correct me if ive used the wrong terms. Thanks

  Hi I have a table view, and when I delete a cell I am removing an item from an NSMutableArray, archiving that array, and removing the cell. However, when I do this, it is causing the delete button to lag after I click it. • DB2 Select - Replace STATES with two character code

  I have a Users Table where it stores city, state and country along with other Users attributes. The states are stored as California, Alabama and so forth. Now I want to retrieve the user information for certain records but the state should get translated to two digit code. Say 'California' should be 'CA'. How should I go about doing this. I was thinking to create a mapping table for state names with there abbreviation and then use some sort of replace function to do it. Any ideas ?

• UIActionSheet Cancel button keeps crashing my app

  I am really puzzeled by this one. I have set up two UIActionSheets in my application. They work perfectly fine until you use the cancel button in the UIActionSheets. In the database, there is a table for businesses that lists them like so: id | name | address | city | state | state_id | zip | url The state column are abbreviations of states (for listing purposes) CA, AK, FL, etc and the state_id matches up with the ids in the states table: id | name | state_abbr I have an admin_add.ctp template with form helpers for inserting new businesses. For entering a state for a business I am going to have a pull down that lists all the states. However, how do I make the database insert so it will know how to add the state abbreviation and state id when I submit the form to add the business?

  I have a table that has 5,000(table1) lines in it. Currently, 3,000 of them are filled up with data. The remaining values are currently null. In a separate table(table2), I have the remaining 2,000 rows of data. I am simply trying to take the values in table2 and put them in table1, but this statement isn't working: Update table1 Set field1 = (Select field1 From table2 Where table1.id = table2.id) Where Exists(Select field1 From table2 Where table1.id = table2.id) It looks like this should be working, but I am getting an error from Base, the db program I am using that just says error Near " ": syntax error...any help??   In this case i'm old style and loved 'my fathers DTS' from SQL 2000. Most of the cases i have to import a flatfile into a table. In a second step i use some procedures (with the new MERGE-Statement) to process the imported content. For Export, i define a export-table and populate it with a store proc (containing a MERGE-Statement) and in a second step the content will be exported to a flat file. In some cases there is no flat file because there is annother sql-server or in rare cases an ODBC-Connection to a sybase or similar. What do you think? When it comes to complex ETL-Stuff the SSIS may be the right tool...but i haven't seen such a case yet.

  I have a Joomla plugin which takes varying parameters. I need to retrieve one of these parameters from the current session. I've tried using Jumi and a little PHP snipped to retrieve the value and output it in the plugin's parameter list, but the Joomla plugin parser only handles the outter-most set of curly braces. ex. {fabrik view=table id=62 resetfilters=1 fab_tours_ro___tour_id=[tour_id]} [tour_id] I need to retrieve from the current session. I've tried {fabrik view=table id=62 resetfilters=1 fab_tours_ro___tour_id={jumi [scripts/get_tour_id.php]}} In that case the {jumi} tag never gets parsed. I could hack the {fabrik} plugin, but I'd prefer to do this without making any core or component changes, especially since I update Fabrik quite regularly via svn.

  Hi there, I am currently working on a little backup script from some firebird databases and I've come up with a weird escaping problem that I don't seem to be able to solve. Here's the thing in my script I create a variable called sqllog in which I would like to put the output of a chain of commands, here it is. sqllog=echo "SELECT * FROM RDB\$DATABASE;" | isql -u SYSDBA -pass mypasswd localhost:mydatabase | tail -n 2 | head -n 1 | wc -l if I try to execute this in shell I get the following error Statement failed, SQLCODE = -204 Dynamic SQL Error -SQL error code = -204 -Table unknown -RDB -At line 1, column 15.   I am about to run a massive data insert into my DB. I have managed to work out how to enable and rebuild non-clustered indexes on my tables but I also want to disable/enable primary keys. You can't disable the clustered index for the primary key as the table is inaccessible when that is done and my attempt to do a ALTER TABLE for constraints does not work as I think that is only for foreign keys. Do you know of a way to Disable the Primary Key and Re-Enable After SQL Bulk Insert. NOTE: This is over numerous tables and so I don't know the exact primary key specifications eg/name etc
