  • Where can I find a good tutorial for py2exe?

    Can somebody point me at a good tutorial for py2exe? I've read over the official tutorial but it is rather light on details, compared to all the options one can use when building an executable out of a python script. For the record, my python script uses Python 2.5.2, wxPython/wxWidgets 2.8 and MySQLdb 1.2.2; so if you have specific tips for py2exe with those packages that would be much appreciated (and yes, I've seen the Py2EXE and wxPython page).

    i want to log some information of every single request send to a busy http server in a formatted form,use log module would create some thing i don't want to: [I 131104 15:31:29 Sys:34] i think of csv format but i don't know how to customize it,and python got csv module,but read the manual import csv with open('some.csv', 'w', newline='') as f: writer = csv.writer(f) writer.writerows(someiterable) since it would open and close a file each time, i am afraid in this way would slow down the whole server performance, what could i do?

    Hi, Just a quick question. I've written some code that returns a custom class Command, and the code I've written seems to work fine. I was wondering if there are any reasons that I shouldn't be doing it this way. It's something like this: Command Behavior::getCommand () { char input = 'x'; return Command (input, -1, -1); } Anyway, I read that constructors aren't meant to have a return value, but this works in g++. I have the following link... mysite.com/profile.php?id=23 I want to rewrite the above url with the Users first and last name... mysite.com/directory/liam-gallagher From what Ive read however you specify the rule for what the url should be output as, But how do i query my table to get each users name? (ie, a person that has been released has a previous booking modified due to incorrect information). There should not be locking contention between Person and Booking whenever a Booking needs to be updated. One other business requirement is that a Booking can never occur for a Person more than once at a time. Due to this, I'm concerned about querying the query database on the read side as there could potentially be some inconsistency there (due to using CQRS and having an eventually consistent read database). Should the aggregate roots be allowed to query the event-sourced backing store by id for objects (lazy-loading them as needed)? Are there any other avenues of implementation that would make more sense?

  • Whats a valid strategy for a secure image upload from a flash client?

    Hi all - I'm creating a flash application that will post images to a url for saving to disk/display later. I was wondering what are some suggested strategies for making this secure enough so that the upload is verified as coming from the application and not just some random form post. Is it reliable enough to check referring location realizing that I don't need bulletproof security, or perhaps setting authentication headers is a better strategy even though it seems unreliable from what I have read.
